Torrid, make the WAISTLINE at the WAIST! So sick of ugly "boob waist" dresses! The fit and style are awful! Disney dresses Torrid makes are the perfect example of this ridiculous mess. Look at the Tinkerbell dress, the model has to buckle the belt ON her Boobs! Seriously?!? I refuse to spend another penny on Torrid clothing until you make dresses that fit us correctly, and stop mocking the plus size women you want to be your customers!
Very Comfortable, Very Sexy and the Fit is perfect. It doesn't slide up as I thought it would. However about 2 hours if that, of wearing it I felt what I thought was a Spider on my leg, instead the hemline was unraveling. I HATE that I am forced to have to repair an item I just bought!
This is not the first time I have experienced poor workmanship on Torrid under garments! Torrid needs to pay better attention to workmanship!
I highly suggest if purchasing this or other undergarments to check and fix all seems prior to wearing!
This isn't the first undergarment I have purchased recently that has had this issue, it's the most expensive and disheartening one and now I have to speak up!
It's bad enough they have Poor Communication, Constantly cancelling orders with little or NO explanation!

Torrid used to be my go-to for clothes, as for many years, it was difficult to find fashionable clothes in plus sizes. Over the last decade, Torrid's prices have increased, while the quality of their merchandise and customer service have been in a steady decline. The prices are ridiculous, especially given the low-quality of the items. It takes them weeks to even ship an order after it is placed, during which time the products sell-out or orders get cancelled with no notice. The Torrid Credit card is a complete joke and their website consistently has issues. I seriously regret all of the money I have spent at this store. The lack of quality, the poor customer service and the over all greed have pushed by business elsewhere.
Quality was much different than expected. Looked nice online. Quality was off and size. Tried to get a return label but they do not provide them. After hanging on hold until I couldn't any longer. I emailed them. They basically told me to kiss off. The Chat is unavailable too. Only store I know that doesn't give exchanges for misrepresenting.
I have been ordering online for several years. It wasn't until recently that I started having problems ordering only the next or same day, to have my order cancelled. No notification! I spoke with customer service who politely took the time to explain that the order was cancelled because that item was no longer in stock. Every day when I check on their website, the same tops that I have TRIED to order for the last 2 weeks still show " IN STOCK"! The girl was very apologetic and said that they would credit me back for several orders. I checked today and NOTHING|! With things the way they are right now and have been for the last 2 years, more people are ordering online. Whoever updates and maintains the website should be doing a better job in keeping it up to date!
If you had a problem with gift cards don't go through they can't help. I will never buy anything from this store ever again
I've never ordered anything from them but I ordered a lot today and I'm not for sure my regular clothes size because I wear a 4X 5x in regular clothes so the highest they go is a 30 do you think they're going to fit? I tried to do a question but it made me do a review LOL
I want to the Torrid in the Fashion District the young lady name Jay was awesome and very helpful I was looking for a Strapless bra for my daughter who is very top heavy 44H Jay took her time getting the Measurements helped my daughter try it on and even gave great suggestions unfortunately they didn't have her size in the store at the time but was very helpful with helping me order it online Thank You so much Jay we will be seeing you soon
I ordered 3 pairs of underwear at $16.50 each because I was supposed to get 2 free pairs if I ordered 3. I got the order and only 3 pairs were in there. I emailed to request the 2 free pairs and was told it was too late, but they would give me $20 credit and 50%o off my next shipping. I emailed them saying this doesn't even cover the underwear, which were $16.50 each. Got a reply that $20 credit was added to my account. I will not be using it cause I feel ripped off. Too bad cause it used to be my favorite store.
Wish I could give them a 0 stars review.
Ordered a wedding dress through ther website only to receive a cancelation email the next day.
No big deal, or so I thought. I went ahead and bought another dress, expecting to see a refund to my account within 48 hours. It's been almost a month, dozens of messages and everything I seem to get back to square one, with customer service representatives telling me what I already know: my order was canceled! Great, I get that, now where's my money?
Torrid, you've lost a loyal customer over this lack of accountability.
For the 2nd day in a row been on hold over a hr yesterday was hr and 4 min then hung up on iam going on 34 min now.
I ordered on 11 Oct still says pending the store has it in stock it would be nice to be able get it before I go on vac.

To take on vac I can't even pay my bill being it still pending but you have no problem charging intrest and shipping when it's been processing this long I will not order online again worst service ever I would give it a zero it I could don't waist your money
I recently made an online purchase using my Torrid rewards. Three weeks later, the order has not been shipped. I called customer service to cancel the order and after holding for 45 minutes to speak to someone, they inform me it is their policy that they are unable to cancel the order. The look and quality of their clothing has decreased in the last couple of years, but I have continued to purchase from them for lack of choices in other stores. This may be the last straw for me though... By the way, what good are Torrid rewards if when you go in the store everything is usually buy one get one 50% off anyway? Doesn't sound like much of a reward to me... Get it together Torrid!
I paid $28.00, almost triple the price of shipping, to have my order shipped overnight. I placed the order at 1pm EST on a Friday. The overnight shipping option showed the latest my order would arrive would be on Monday. Now the tracking information shows it will arrive on Tuesday. This is 5 day shipping which should be less expensive. Now I don't have what I need in time. Don't trust their shipping. Don't pay extra for something that is not reliable. I'm so disappointed.
Torrid clothing is motivating me to lose weight, which is a good thing I guess. $70 for pants for work that shrink after the first wash to nothing. Shirts that are so thin they are falling apart. I only wash the clothes in cold water, never bleach, I barely put any of them in the dryer and they all shrink and look cheap. You're better off buying on SHEIN, at least you can make use of what you pay for and don't have to feel so badly about it. Also, what plus size store doesn't carry larger sizes bras in store? You only go up to a D in my local store, which makes absolutely no sense. Anything that is remotely nice is only in stock in size 00 and 4. Your store does big girls and injustice. Definitely must be run by snobby men who don't give a crap about quality.
They refused to cancel an order I had just placed because they said was "processing"
Their credit card is basically the same, it is like all their representatives are taught to say no instead of trying to work with the customer.
So there this sale on clearance yesterday and I purchased $276.00 worth of items. Today, I get an email they cancelled my order. No reason given. So I call. The representative says it's their error so she kept me on the phone an hour adding everything back to the a new order and wow everything is still in stock Puts me on hold to add the quantity of some. I ordered 2-3 of most of the items. Yay. I told her it's not showing up in quantity but it's at the same price. She said "don't worry it needs time to change in their "system". An hour goes by no email confirmation. Nothing changes in the quantity. So I spend another hour talking to a new rep. Guess what? Most everything is now " out of stock" LOL but there was still some left to my order. I asked her just to cancel and she said she can't lol so She says to take it back to the store. Well, nice idea except they don't return clearance items. So I go with what they do have. She gives me $20 for being so patient. I finally get off the phone with them and one by one I am getting emails on every single item being out of stock. Torrid does not care about their customers. This is the worst most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Hopefully I'm not being charged so I'll check my bank in the morning. Same crap nothing changes. Torrid You need to do something about your stock numbers and the unprofessional way you conduct business. You are losing customers. Have you seen your feedback? Do you look? I am Spending around 200-$1500 a month on your clothes and if you Torrid make a mistake and screw your customers they will go through hell to get it right. But you sure get your money. I no longer trust them with my money. When I had $140 in rewards I spent it in the store because if they're out of stock you'll never see your reward again. Spent a month getting my gift card amount back literally talking to 15 reps and hours upon hours just to get one card back. This is insane
They carry mainly outdated granny style clothes for plus size women because of course who would wanna see a bigger girl in anything stylish or cute really overpriced as well because there's virtually no where else for plus size ppl to shop. Really sucks.
They offer you 40% off your first order if you apply and are accepted for a torrid credit card. It's a pretty nice incentive since it's an expensive clothing line. I followed the directions, and immediately after approval clicked CHECK OUT. I wasted no time, I didn't close my browser, nothing! Their website did not save my card info or give me the 40%. I still ordered, because the items go out of stock so quickly. Sure enough customer service will not provide any future discount as a resolution to this issue. Then I go digging for information, and see that they have this listed elsewhere that they will not replace the discount if lost. Well if you have to put that on your page, it probably means you have TONS of people that this is happening to and making complaints about. I will be cancelling my card and not purchasing from this store again. I got roped into applying for this card, and it was a SCAM. They know it's happening because their website is faulty. Horrible customer service.
I placed an order on July 24th for a pair of shoes. I received notification on the morning of July 25th that my order has been canceled. No explanation as to why, only the number to reach their customer service office. After reaching out to them, I was notified that my order was canceled because they no longer have it in my size. I decided to place a second order the very same day for the same shoes but of course in a different size along with a bathing suit. 2 DAYS later I received another email stating that my order had yet again been canceled. Discovering that I had to go through the whole Ring around the Rosie again to figure out why my order was canceled and when I was going to get my money back, I called customer service. This time I asked him how often the items and they're availability on their website are updated. She assured me that it was updated every 24 hours. When I explained to her my situation and that it had been 48 hours since I'd placed the order, her whole tone changed. How could the items and their availability be updated every 24 hours but it took you all 48 hours to let me know that my products were no longer available? What makes matters worse, is that I had paid for overnight shipping so the shipping date that was given to me as far as when to expect my items to be received, was today July 27th. I think it's safe to say I will not be receiving my items. I then asked her when I was going to expect a refund, or for those charges to be taken off of my account. She assured me that those were only pending charges and that the charges are not finalized until the orders have been shipped. With that being said the pending charges, I have been told, should drop off within 2 to 3 days. By this time after reading other reviews from other customers with the same or similar issues, I probably shouldn't expect to see my money back on there until Christmas right? LOL. This was my FIRST and LAST shopping experience with the infamous Torrid...
I have been shopping here 20 some years and the prices which are insane keep going up and and quality going down. Half the stuff is always excluded from promotions. Torrid Cash is an absolute joke. I have over 500 in torrid cash but you can only use about 250 at a time. I would have to spend $1000 to get able to use it despite it being 25 off of 50. It doesn't even make it worth it. There aren't many options available for plus size women but I'll lose weight before I keep shopping here.
Answer: I recently returned an item after waiting more than two weeks for delivery. It took almost a month for them to respond and acknowledge that they received the returned item. I never wore the item (shoes) because they were too small and Torrid only refunded 1/2 of the purchase price. RIP OFF!
Answer: They are the most consistent in sizes that I have found - so depends on what store you are comparing them to and your body shape. I am kind of boxed shape (except for cutting in under the bust I am big everywhere) - they run smaller than Lane Bryant for me - but for my friend who is chest heavy she wears the same sizes at both. In comparison to most regular sized stores I size down - like I am a 4x at Old Navy - a 3x at Torrid.
Answer: It's totally normal, unfortunately. I'm on day 13 now and was told today it would be another 7 days before my order shipped.
Answer: DON'T ORDER SHOES FROM THEM! I recently returned a pair of sandals that did not fit. I returned them the next day and fortunately returned via UPS so I had a tracking number. It took almost a month to get an acknowledgement that they received the return ONLY because I kept sending them the UPS proof of delivery, and then ---- THEY ONLY REFUNDED HALF THE PURCHASE PRICE!
