Your commercials, where people talk with obviously some other person's voice drive me nuts. I can't stand your BS commercials. That is all.

Awful service. No way to speak to anyone. They referred me to Expedia which proved to be very costly for me.

We booked McGee Cottages in Cannon Beach, OR via Trivago on June 5,2017. During the booking process, I was pressured to hurry up as so many others had viewed this cottage and only one was left. Due to time restraints, I did book the cottage. Upon arrival on June 6th, I found that my reservation was never received. Also, I found out that most of the cottages were still available. Personnel at Cannon Beach Hotel who handle the registrations for McGee indicated that I was lucky as others who have booked via Trivago arrived to find that they did not have a room. Also, the cost of the cottage was much cheaper if booked directly.

Booked 2 night hotel stay through Trivago, actual company doing the reservatio is called otel.com. When I arrived the hotel took the otel voucher, but also my credit card.
My credit card was billed. Called otel.com, to get reimbursement, got run around. Result: I paid $ 315 to hotel and $ 315 to otel.com. I am out $315, plus endless hours trying to get my money back. Wont use Trivago again.

I reserved a hotel and I was trying to reserve a hotel in Astoria Oregon It gave me a list of hotels to choose from course I pick the one that was the lowest price from the list they provided. They put a hotel in the list for Lincoln Illinois that was not identified under the hotels that was listed under Astoria Oregon. elvoline.com I guess is partnered with Trivago. Elvoline said not there problem to bad to sad. They brought it to trivago. Trivago said they fixed the site but elvoline said they will not return my money or put toward another hotel in Astoria Oregon because it's not their problem I still I'm waiting for a call back from Trivago. But n call cack. I got 2 emails generic from Trivago one said they call me in 2 days and the other said 5 days still haven't heard from them. Its been over 5 days If I were you looking for a hotel I would not use either one of these service. They don't care and they dont seem to have any customer service skill anyone want anymore information please feel free to reach out. *******@gmail.com.

Beginning from our arrival we were greeted with stunning views and wonderful people. We were in paradise. But then the nightmare from hell broke loose. Our room at Aston at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach was old and worn, the service was poor and the staff didn't seem to care. Although food and drinks on property are pricey, there are shops nearby and a market in the lobby to purchase any items you may need. Upon my wife visiting the market in the lobby area, she was approached by one of the male workers about having a drink later that night. When we complained to the management they apologized and said they would look into it. When we returned home, we also wrote a letter to the general manager about our terrible experience we had at Whalers Village

I am a seasoned traveler since I have been employeed by a major airline for 33 years.
I booked a room through Trivago for a hotel room for this coming Superbowl in Minneapolis, way back in February. I prepaid the room, and was sent a 2 page confirmation from some 3rd party subsidiary from India called cancelon. I called recently to the hotel, and asked about a bed choice, the hotel had no record of my stay. I called the number with my papers, they said I would get a room 1 day before departure. I did not sign off on such a ridiculous policy. I explained to the operator from India how huge the Superbowl is, and 1 day out is unacceptable. I am now struggling to find a room because they left me out to dry. Trivago has no customer service number its phone number is a out of order. I have used many, many, other cites through the years, this was a first, and last try with Trivago! I do not think they exist at all.! Please use another reputable website for travel.

I made a booking on 29th May using the trivago site. It directed me to the ebookers.com. Which is apparently some "UK based website".
It made the booking to a very cheap hotel in a not so good locality, which clearly wasn't a place for women. So after arriving there, me and my husband immediately decided to leave. We tried calling trivago to report the same to them and cancel the booking. Instead we were directed to the bookers.com's helpline. The customer executive there was talking in a fake British accent (anyone who listened better could easily tell that it was an indian trying hard to sound british).
She said that the itiniery number that I kept telling her repeatedly did not exist. Even my husband's name, mobile number and the email id for booking did not exist in their system. At the end of 20 mins U was solo frustrated, that I eventually ended up disconnecting the call.
Trivago must really check their partners, otherwise it will soon lose it's credibility.

While our room was clean when we first arrived, the next day after being gone all day our room was not cleaned. When we at least wanted clean towels, we were told we would have to wait 1 hour or the next day! Yes the price was reasonable but should at least get some service for our money! Will never return here and am telling everyone I know to not come here either!

We have nothing but praise for Marion Keane at the Tiernakill Farmhouse B&B. Our stay was excellent in every way: congenial, gracious and welcoming host, immaculate rooms, and a delicious breakfast with many choices. Thank you, Marion, for everything, especially for the ride to the pub, so that we could enjoy a lovely pint of beer!

OTEL.COM is a full fledged SCAM. They are able to get onto such sites as Trivago and Expedia as though they are another travel brokerage service. When you authorize a credit card payment, they will immediately try to put another (smaller) charge hoping to drain your account and then get an approval pronto which will require you to cancel your card and wait a few months to get it back into your account.

Don't use Prestigia. I searched for hotel room via Trivago in Boston... was directed to Prestigia, booked one night at Boston Marriott Long Wharf. When I arrived (past midnight) at hotel I was informed by hotel clerk that 1) they had no record of reservation for me and 2) hotel was sold out, no rooms available. So at that late hour I had to scour Boston to find replacement hotel room for me. So... Prestigia via Trivago completed failed me, a disaster... warning- do not use Presitiga, I will also not be using Trivago again, can not take the risk of another failed transactional me or my family. There is something deeply flawed in the Prestigia operation.
