TuneFab generally enjoys a positive reputation among users, particularly for its product quality and reliability in managing music downloads and conversions. Many customers praise the software's performance, user-friendly interface, and effective customer support, highlighting prompt responses and problem resolution. However, some negative feedback centers on issues related to licensing, particularly when transitioning between devices, and perceived limitations in the free version. It was easy to use and the instructions were clear. The payment was soon refunded. Great support and product.
Purchased a one month subscription to TuneFab. Program wouldn't open and prompt said "too many devices". I only have one computer. I cancelled same day. Tried again. Received same product key as the first purchase. Same problem. TuneFab will not send a new product key and refuses a refund. Stay away. Use Sidify.
****UPDATE**** A patch box popped up when I tried it this morning. The update took less than a minute and I restarted just in case. It works. If you get the message "You are offline now, failed to get music" update 13.07 (or something?) is needed as of 06/30/23.
****UPDATE****
I've owned the Mac version of TuneFab since Feb 20,2021, 11:39 AM (per my receipt). Over the past 6 months it started working less and less, today it no longer works. I get an error message "You are offline now, failed to get music" My internet is fine, the speakers are set to the correct setting, the file path is correct, the player will play music so it's connected to the wifi as no tracks are downloaded. The latest update stripped the user side of things so I can no longer enter a product key, so my LIFETIME product is useless. The preset paths to menus and websites reroutes you to unrelated or unhelpful pages. They're either unaware they've completely wrecked their end product for Mac users or they've sold their company to scammers who have no intention of enabling a working product. I've emailed paddle because this is where my original receipt with the product key came from. I'm doubtful they'll answer based on everyone's responses.
If you say you need pay to use this I accept it, if you say free version has less features I accept it either, but why, I mean, why? Are there a limit that free-users can only download the first 3 minutes for each songs? Why can't they give free users a good experience to convince them level up to premiere with their good manners? That's it, I'm outta here. Goodbye
I put a poor review originally due to a code registration issue. Turns out half the blame was on our end. Truth is this is a great product. And now that I have finally received my registration code, I will do what I said I would do and give them the marks on their product they deserve.
I downloaded on Mac used it to convert and out my music on an usb once then called to be refunded because I continued being charged for the following 2 months I payed a total of 3 months for one time use. The first month sure I used it but the next 2 what the hell? I asked for a refund and was declined never using this product again thanks have a good day
Support will not contact you back. Software is locked and wants access to your personal info when requesting support (pc name, ip address, physical location) just to name a few. The company operates out of India so beware!
I purchased 1 mo of Tune Fab svc it never worked correctly Fr the get go. I asked 4 help and was just told to reinstall the software which I did twice. It never fixed the problem. I've asked 4 a refund which Nvr happened and they cut off communication w/me since. Not happy :( i reinstall many times didnt work..
I just wanted to convert an.aax file(audible file), though I have already purchased the specific audible book and it's downloaded in my audible library. I felt maybe if I can listen to the audible book on an mp3 player which does not support internet streaming or audible app. So for this purpose only, I searched on Google and came across TuneFab. On installation, it offered free usage till first 14 days limited to converting titles to mp3 format. Appreciate how effortlessly it converted the aax file to mp3. I am pretty sure, I will continue paying for my audible subscription, just building on my audible library and the benefits of listening on the audible app itself simply outweigh the freedom to play an audible file in mp3 format, as it offers the user to bookmark certain time points in the audio book and also make brief notes and much cleaner interface. Just for a one off use, I have used the Tunefab and it worked great. And, I will still highly recommend original audible app to listen to the audible book to have a great experience. Thanks to TuneFab, no complaints.
Since I bought a lifetime license to TuneFab Spotify Converter, I continue to use it, in spite of serious bugs. I reported to TuneFab that the program has taken a longer and longer time to "load" a playlist. Over weeks, the time had increased from a minute or so to 20 or more minutes. In other words, currently, after dragging the Spotify playlist into the TuneFab converter, nothing new is displayed for at least 20 minutes. At that point, the songs show up in TuneFab, and I can start the conversions. It appears to me that something like cache needs to be cleared. However, TuneFab customer support wrote:
"Dear customer,
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Could you please tell us what problems you encountered when using the software?
Could you please tell us in detail on what you have mentioned? To further know your problem, please provide us with a screenshot or video of the software's problem and we will reply to you as soon as possible.
If the software sends an error message during the process, please send us a photo or screenshot of the error message, which would be helpful for us to deal with the problem."
This email started yet another email charade, back and forth, during which TuneFab provided ZERO information as to what I could do to correct the problem, and ZERO information that might suggest they were addressing the problem. Truly a disgusting situation - basically no different than for the other attempts I've made to get help from them.
I keep hoping that TuneFab management will read my reviews and do something about the situation. Since I bought a lifetime license, I don't want the company to fail. Nevertheless, I recommend purchasing the NoteBurner product for converting Spotify music. Their product is pretty good, and they actually have decent customer support.
On November 4,2020, I submitted a review of TuneFab entitled "Most responsive company in my memory!" TuneFab appears now to be a completely new company. Inez Miller left the company, and the previous TuneFab company appears to have become part of a German/Hong Kong company. The last email I received from Inez Miller was on 2-28-21, and she answered my question, as always. The response to my next request for help was received on 4-3-21 and stated "Your request (13512) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff." This email appeared to be a template, without the name of the person sending the email. From that date on until today (7-14-22) I've not received a useful response to any one of my 30+ emails. They completely stopped supporting the previous Spotify Converter program which I had paid for, but which was loaded with bugs, so I had to purchase their new and completely different Spotify Converter to try to move forward with conversions.
Their current Spotify Converter running on my MacBook Pro will typically convert from 20 to 30 songs (but ranging between 5 and 60) before it quits. To restart the conversion session, the original Spotify playlist used for that session must be edited to remove the songs already converted. Trying to convert all of the music for a prolific musician is a true test of patience and endurance, since there is no way of knowing whether the program will quit after 5 songs or after 60. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, AND NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Other reviews mentioned Win X Media Trans., and Sidify, which I will now check out.
I'm in the process of identifying the senior management of TuneFab, so that I can provide feedback on how poorly the operations are being managed... HORRIBLY!
Be Aware
This is information i share to all person in time searching information's about Tunefab
I was get scammer already until i block my credits card or debit card because they will not stop your subscription and not respond your mail even you send many time regarding unsubscribe, so do not try to purchase anything here or all of you will be regret, this is dagger scam company
I bought a brand new MacBook. Purchased Tunefab to use. Software kept freezing after a couple converts. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Tried many many variations but repeated to do the same thing. I was spending too much time trouble shooting. I reached out to Tunefab several times. Taking days for them to get back to me they stated I was not Eli glue for a refund. I would think if your software does not work properly on my brand new Macbook maybe it's something on their end and that's fine but how are you gonna tell a customer they are not eligible for a refund when their product clearly has issues. Horrible product. Horrible to almost non existent customer service.
I pd for and tried this software. The 1st few times I used it, it worked great, suddenly it stopped working, I contacted their tech support several times, the only thing they would tell me is to reinstall their software which I did several times however that did not fix the problem, after that I tried to contact their tech support explaining I needed more assistance other than just telling me to re-install their software, ever since then they have cut off communication with me and will not respond to me at all. It was a waster of $$, even if they couldn't have helped me they could have at least continued the communication, there is no excuse 4 that, because of this I cannot and will not recoomend this company and I feel they should refund me the $14.95 I pd to use their service however seeing as they won't communicate with me they will not do that either, save your hard earned $$.
I purchased 1 mo of Tune Fab svc it never worked correctly Fr the get go. I asked 4 help and was just told to reinstall the software which I did twice. It never fixed the problem. I've asked 4 a refund which Nvr happened and they cut off communication w/me since. Not happy! Don't waste your money.
Bought this too convert a long audio track. Tried the free 3 minute version and it was the only one that actually worked. So I bought the 1 month version, registered and unlocked I tried it on the full track and it was hopeless. Started mid track and only converted a few minutes. Tried many times, same result. Then found that what I thought was a one off payment had been set up in paypal by tunefab and without my agreement as a repeat payment! Cancelled that with paypal, tried tunefab customer service but useless generic replies only. Maybe it will work for you, but be warned.
I found TuneFab after googling software that converts Spotify songs and clicking into an "article" ranking available software that turned out to be written by TuneFab as a deceptive way to get downloads. Paid for the full version and it had multiple bugs that prevented it from working at all. Contacted support and received a couple of responses over the course of a month that did not solve any of the issues, before they stopped responding entirely. A request for a refund under their refund policy also went unanswered. And if TuneFab responds - yes I meet the refund conditions, and yes I am on the right platform/machine/etc. I'm a computer programmer, and this is clearly product error, not user error.
I bought one-month subscription, but the license code I got does not work. I wrote several emails, but no answer...
Then, I cancelled my subscription (which by the way is viciously tricky to do), but I don't know if I will get my money back or if I just cancelled the automatic renewal next month...
I am very disappointed. 75% of the time, the program did NOT work, and did not give codes to provide customer service to troubleshoot. When it worked, it worked. Problems included music not downloading (failed to download) and extremely low volume on downloaded/converted music. IF someone responded from customer service, it took days to respond offering little to no help. I switched to Noteburner today and have had NO problems.
Customer service is email based. When submitting a request it initially took nearly 2 weeks (Dec 18-30) to receive a reply. The reply was not helpful at all. I've gone back and forth with them multiple times trying to get a refund for something that didn't work. I found a solution that did work, WinX Media Trans. I lost $45 and the only thing I can do is try to prevent someone else from losing any money. Find another solution.
Stay away from TuneFab. The quality is horrible and far worst than any of its competitors. Cannot understand some positive reviews since the quality is obviously worst. It basically forces iTunes to play the song and record it using your sound card. Others uses a similar process but they add some digital processing which gives closer quality compared to the original. Anyone who gives good reviews to Tunefab either converted and didn't play the song after or is biased.
Answer: Dear, Sander. Thank you for contacting TuneFab support. Would you please try the 3. 1. 5 and then see if your problem is fixed? Thanks!
Answer: Extremely easy. I worked with them for a 2.5 week period to get my program up and running. They were super helpful.
Answer: Yes, it is a legitimate company. I have Screen Recorder, and it is a legitimate and useful product. They seem to have only one person as the initial point of contact, so sometimes they don't get back to you immediately, but they eventually will.
Answer: Hello, Leah, Could you please tell us the following information: #1. What's the version number of your TuneFab Apple Music Converter or TuneFab Spotify Music Converter? #2. What's the version number of your iTunes or Spotify? #3. What's the operating system of your computer? #4. Is there any error message occur? If you are running the TuneFab Apple Music Converter: To make sure that the software works properly, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the software and iTunes. And all the songs need to be downloaded from cloud before conversion. Please update both iTunes and TuneFab to the latest version. You can get the latest version of TuneFab from our official website. If you are running the TuneFab Spotify Music Converter: Please make sure to download the Spotify app from the Spotify website rather than from the Windows store, which will reduce the error happened when converting the music.
