Big scam with Uber
February 19, 2024

I landed terminal C at Logan yesterday; I used Uber to find my ride to Tyngsboro, one popped up as recommended for $56.xx; I clicked confirm, it crashed on me; I refreshed again, the lowest price recommended was $134.xx. Big jump; I had no choice but to use it. Lesson learnt, never again use Uber.

Hello, my order got delayed by 1 hour and I tried to reach customer service, only for a robot to link me with an agent who would not answer at all. For clarification, I wasn't being rude to them, as my first message read "Hello" and I waited for 10 minutes before i sent another text describing my problem. I still hadn't got any reply. I can confidently say that this is the worst customer service I've been through. If you won't reply, why do this job?

Going through my account today I saw a charge for Uber One for 9.99. I called my bank, and low and behold, this charge has been coming out of my account for over two years. My bad for not noticing... it comes out the same time all my monthly bills are paid.
I spent an entire day trying to cancel this service and get my money back. There is NO phone number for customer service and has to all be done on line. I dont have an account so I have no means of "logging in" as requested. I finally find a way to get a message sent and get a response from not one, but two people in two different emails, with names I cannot pronounce. Fast forward, I have spent all day answering questions via email and responding and it was discovered someone named Joseph opened the account. I dont know anyone by this name. Ive explained this. Over and over. I requested payments be stopped and monies returned again... and silence. Absolutely no response from the one person I was talking to. Six hours later, I get an email from the second person stating "youve never answered any of my questions." Omg, I am going crazy trying to do this. I dont know what they dont understand about "I didnt open it, I dont know anyone by this name, and I didnt give authorization". Then to top everything off... a message pops up while Im typing to the second person that says "It may be easier to do this by phone. Would you like us to call you for 39.00?" Are you flippin kidding me? This is outrageous.
Check your statements people. I don't receive paper statements and never noticed this charge until today. The bank cannot stop the payment without blocking my card. The damage is already done. Believe me... I will die before I ever use Uber services just because of this. Zero customer service!

In July of last year I placed an order and within a minute and a half to two minutes I canceled the order and was still charged for the order because they said that the order had already started being made when I know there's no way that they could have even started the order. I'm still trying to fight the situation and being told that it does not qualify for a refund. I was a reliable customer until then and have since not giving them one request for an order. Any response on this by others would be greatly helpful as I will take them into advisement but I am pretty pissed off over the whole situation and I have gladly taken my business elsewhere even though after a second time of trying to approach the situation, there's been no improvement in the results! Long waiting time to get trips nowadays, because they keeping adding more new drivers, even add more fees to riders, and cut more from drivers, so the drivers get less pay and opportunities. See my earnings, low as 6 bucks per hr, the minimum wage is 16.55( Ontario Canada)

My order never arrived to my house I never got my food that I ordered bad service it said it got delivered but the driver delivered it to the wrong address/ house it didn't get delivered to the address I provided and the contact support said that they couldn't do anything about it no refund or anything that my order was not eligible for any compensation or refund what a bad service 😑😀😀😑😑

They sent me a promotion saying if I do 140 jobs I will be paid $1,050 I did 140 jobs and they only gave me $221 they explain but the way they word their responses to where you cannot really understand but I cannot talk to anyone. So if you are a driver beware because they will not give you what they say they will give you

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE

I ordered under the wrong address and immediately noticed. Called the restaurant first to let them know not to make the food and they were fine. Then I chat with customer service at Uber and they said I would still get charged even though I have spoken to the restaurant beforehand and it was all done immediately after noticing the error. They have lost a customer. In the past they made a huge 2 big mistake with large breakfast orders, one corporate and another family get-together. Never again.

My issue is for my poor 81 year old mother who needs a walker to assist her movement. Often times Uber drivers refuse to get out of the car to help her put her walker in the car. She has balance issues and is forced to lift her walker to put it in the car and then walk around the outside of the car praying for balance without her walker to get herself into the car. I know they are not "required" to assist passengers, but common decency would suggest that they should anyway. Very disappointed in the service she receives.

An outstanding balance

Uber somehow decided that I didn't pay €41 for the trip I took a year ago, but I did pay for it after I sent help request five times, finally one of the agents said yes it's paid, but they never removed the outstanding balance. Yesterday I sent another request, explaining the situation, they didn't even really read my email Then said you have to pay that €41 house and there's no phone that I can call everything is online, horrible horrible

This company is hot steaming garbage. They use checkr if you get a traffic ticket or in an accident not even driving for Uber just on your own personal time they will suspend your account and deactivity for good you are guilty until proven innocent. Boycott this company.

Don't use Uber 2 delivery your dinner

I placed an order at 10:15 on my Uber app from IHOP it was 22$ and change I took an hr and a half and after I got it I was missing my waffle all I had was a few cut up strawberries and syrup and then they said they couldn't do anything for me. I would have to contact IHOP. Normally they put a seal on your food but I didn't have anything like that on it. I called IHOP and they said since I placed it with Uber I would have to contact Uber

I was never given a credit for $5 bucks after spending 20.99. No one seems to have any resolution. I will dispute this with my bank. This company is wrong on so many levels. The food is not safe to eat.

I requested a ride as I was getting ready for work because they take forever anyways dumb driver canceled my ride 10 minutes later and I had to wait for my refund to request another $32 ride I honestly feel like Uber shouldn't be able to cancel rides after it being picked up especially because the price kept going up ever time it got cancelled 😑 now I'm gonna be an hour and a half late for work because depending on your dumb Uber driver that decided he wanted to cancel my ride last minute is crazy I will not be giving this company anymore of my hard working money there is supposed to be policy's standers to avoid things like this and clearly this company or employees can't follow these policy's
