Drivers, check and if someone else is happening to you, make your defenses and make it public since if we multiply these "differences" in the amounts offered and that are charged to users, the theft or scam amounts to billions of additional dollars that Uber makes its drivers… be careful

This journey was the worst journey of my life. The name of the cab driver is Balram and his car number is DL1RTB3246. My travel time was 1:50 PM and the date was 30th December 2023. I had booked a cab from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to New Ashok Nagar. After dropping us at our destination, the cab driver Balram asked me for more money than my bill. We paid him Rs 20 more than our fare through phone pay. His phone number is *******018. But he was asking for Rs 20 more. When I refused, he came out of his car and started talking to me in a loud voice. Still, when I refused to give it, he tried to snatch the mobile from me and started fighting. During all this my mother told me to leave it and give him Rs 20 more. They don't have any respect for themselves. They will spoil your reputation in the colony for just 20 rupees. After this I gave him an additional Rs 20. Then he started leaving and abused me in front of my mother.
So in my opinion going anywhere by Uber cab is not good for you and your family. Neither the cab driver has the manners to talk nor to respect women. Do not book an Uber cab if you are traveling with your family. Otherwise the Uber driver will misbehave with you in front of your family.
Drivers' pay is garbage. Receive a request that takes 20 minutes to go pick them up and when you drop them off you realize you only made $2.50. I would say 7% of riders tip drivers. I was online for eight hours and made $60 minus the $30 I had to put in my gas tank so I could continue to give rides.
Driver got lost, drove around New Cross, late by 17 minutes- we waited on cold pavement.
Driver back seat floor filthy with rubbish and a plastic, dirty shopping bag on back seat which I had to put on the floor - Driver never apologised.
Driver drove off while I was seated in car, door on other side still wide open and my friend had one leg in and was almost dragged and fell onto the pavement and Street had I not shouted to Driver to stop.
Arrived outside home, opened the door and about to get out when Driver said 'its OK, no cars around' which I found sarcastic and feisty. I looked at his face and his eyes were very sleepy, he seemed to be on drugs with a hinted smell of cannabis etc.
I reported this to Uber and requested refund but Uber ignored me and kept asking questions which ivexalready provided.
I will now file a complaint with TfL Taxi Licensing and Enforcement department.

I grabbed a great price on Uber for a trip home $9. As I waited for my ride the driver and car changed from a Prius to a Toyota RAV4 without notifying me of the $13 INCREASE in fare. With add'l service fees, city taxes and tip it turned out to be over $24. RIP-OFF! I'll never use UBER again.

Terrible awful scam customer service hung up on me
I picked up a ride and the customer wanted to know how much uber was paying the deiver. Long stoey short, the customer was being charged $155 CAD for a ride while the deiver was receiving $70 including tips. So basically whwn the customer found out both the driver and the customer were shocked to find out that uber had a serious math lroblem because that is not 25% that uber claims to be deducting. Not to mention, the driver has to report that income and pay tax on it, pay for car and everything inbetween while uber claims loss every year and keeps on making free money.
Uber is a disgrace despicable company! They lost my business forever! The county I live said Uber is providing rides instead of using the on demand bus. I downloaded the app and it shows my voucher. When I made a ride it does not show. I made and attempt to use the help. It goes nowhere and says I didn't pay for a ride yet. They wanted $40 each way and I am suppose to be paying $1.50. I am lucky I tried it ahead and didn't trust them or I would of gotten screwed with a big charge and it costs $25 just to cancel a reservation. They do not offer any customer service phone help at all! It is outrageous. All they want to do is get money of the misery and backs of others and provide no customer service! It is sickening! They made us miss our doctor appointment and caused us more stress and harm. The county said the voucher still works and they said an email no reply that it doesn't. I called another number it is only south american accented workers who you can't understand. If you ask for help they just hang up on you. Is this the America we want and deserve? Horrible!
Do NOT use Uber! They do not supervise their drivers as I have found out! Booked a ride in advance. Half an hour before pickup "Michael " texts to say that he's early- there at 10 instead of 10:30. Great, I say, I'm done early. Give him my description and head outside. No word. Text him again after 10, then 20 then 30 minutes. No reply. At 10:35 I'm notified that he has cancelled the trip, and a $25 charge shows up on my credit card account implying that I was the one that cancelled the trip. What's even stranger is that because I have a photo of the guy, I could swear I saw him driving around the doctor's office building where I was. Truly strange and creepy looking guy.
