Never trust USPS to deliver packages on time. No proper communication. Rude customer services on phone.
Always when you order something, check the tracking number it'll say delivery tonight but will not see it till weeks later! Poor Service 😔
Ordered a new gas valve for my furnace that crapped out on the 1st of January. It's now the 10th and still don't have my gas valve. Was told it would be here by the 5th but they have decided they want to send my part to 5 different usps facilities in the country before sending it to where it was supposed to go. Can't imagine why usps is going flat broke and bankrupt their service sucks.
After 200 years of being in business to deliver mail one would think you guys would have it together by now. I cringe when I discover that my items are being delivered to me via the USPS. I give one star because there is no option for less.
My package was opened when it arrived to my home. I am having an increasing problem with my mail arriving to our home.
Years ago priority was priority. Now days takes,5 or more days when it should not for instance my daughter sent me a box from pueblo it went to Denver then Dallas back to Denver back to Dallas to Baton Rouge and been there all day. It's coming to a small town just outside Lafayette this makes no sense at all
This company used to be Government owned. Now, privately owned by someone that does care about the United States Citizens.
I have packages that was scheduled to arrive before December 1,2023.
Did not arrive, showing still stuck in USPS distribution center within 185 miles from my residence. Called customer service, NO help. I did know that the United States allowed children to work for a busy.
On November 13th I mailed a birthday card to my grandson for his birthday on November 20th. He received it on December 6th. It went all the way from Plymouth, NC to Chapin, SC. On December 18th I mailed. Birthday card to my Daughter in law and she has still not received it on January 6th. Her birthday was December 26th. On January 3rd I mailed my triplet grandchildren their birthday cards in an envelope with a tracking number to play it safe. On January 6th it is in Richmond, Va! I mailed it in Plymouth, NC to Chapin SC! Why is it in Richmond Va?! OMG! Who is in charge here?!
According to USPS my address doesn't exist! Woohoo! No taxes right! Mind you, I do receive paper mail at a box but since they couldn't find my address on Google, or my!, then my home doesn't exist. What did they do before Google Maps? Even over the phone, they lied. I was told that the zip code was wrong. I finally went in person to the main post office after getting a call starting my package was there. Surprise, surprise once again I got the pleasure of speaking to the rudest person on there! Ugh! If I could give the USPS a negative number, it would be negative infinity!
In October 2023 mailed package to Ft Lauderdale, Fl. Package was not delivered for "insufficient address" (untrue) and "returned to sender". Went to my post office and was told package had been sent out to my home (I had a "hold" on my mail as I was away from home from 10/24-11/03). After several attempts, finally got an agent on the telephone. He seemed uncaring and said package would be delivered to my address. Still waiting for undelivered package. Impossible to make claim as one needs to prove content of package, cost of items in package and proof of insurance ($100 insurance included in postage).
Mailed another package (CA to NJ) and it took 7 days to reach destination, having first traveled to Puerto Rico.
Overall, for me it's not cost efficient to use the Postal Service; cheaper than FedEx and UPS people think. But is it? Not when packages are not delivered in a timely fashion, delivered damaged or NOT delivered at all AND not returned to sender. So one loses the price of postage and the contents of the package. PLUS, it seems every year the cost of postage is increased, but service gets worse.
As the title states very unpredictable. I cringe when I see I'm getting a package Delivered from USPS!
I have been waiting for months for the arrival of my package, they don't know where it is, according to USPS they are looking for a solution that never arrives, USPS SCAMMED ME
As each year, I sent traditional holiday greeting cards to Belgium, France and Luxembourg. The last few years, they took longer to arrive at their destinations. This year took the cake. One card postmarked 13 December finally arrived in Luxembourg today, January 4. The remaining ones to all three countries are still in transit despite my paying additional postage. To top it all, it only took 8 days for cards sent to my address in the US to arrive. I am done with USPS. As much as I prefer tangible greeting cards, I am going to send electronic cards from now on.
This is the second time my package was delivered to the wrong mailbox within the community. The first time, the person who received it by mistake was nice enough to deliver it to me, but this second time, I was not as lucky! Their answer to me was you'll have to take the loss as there's no way we can retrieve it
I paid for delivery for my package they say it's going to get here this morning but instead of delivering it like I paid for they don't and bring it to their office with no warning at all like they didn't knock nothing and this isn't the first time either it's the fourth time they've done this. I'm sick which is why I paid for delivery but noooo I still have to pick it up because their incompetent people that can't deliver to a house that's less then 10 mins away. I will never go threw this god awful company again. I would rate it a zero out of five but of course they won't allow that. USPS isn't reliable.
Tracking my envelope delivery which is 7hrs away. Today is day 5 and still no envelope. USPS is just getting worse, increases with declining performance. Go with other delivery solutions if you want something on time; UPS, FedEx, etc...
Twice, I have stopped the mail because of a vacation, and it never got stopped! Now, I stop it a couple of days ahead of a trip to make sure. The "stop mail" cards, do better. The post office seems to struggle with online "stop mail".
We submitted a change of address for our business and received confirmation by email and mail. Since our move nineteen (19) days ago we have received NO mail.
We called our previous Post Office this morning and was flippantly (as in he could care less) informed that the USPS is behind in forwarding mail and we can expect a wait of THIRTY DAYS before mail is forwarded. I quote "This is how behind we are" endquote.
For what business other than the USPS would this be acceptable? We were NOT informed of this outrageous wait time when filing the change of address. If someone had the courtesy to do so, we would have made alternative arrangements.
WHEN will the people in charge admit this is a failing system?
Apparently you can't talk to an actual person when calling USPS. It has the most difficult system in place. I put in my tracking number over the phone thinking I would get an agent, and the stupid automated voice is still trying to "help" me. Why is it so hard to get an actual person! All I want is to talk to an actual person! God I hate USPS.
Answer: It's probably USPS, they are garbage. They have some of the worst delivery rates and fees.
Answer: Yes is a scam very thing about usps is a scam, shame on you!
Answer: I totally understand what you are dealing with. That's a really good question that I wish would get answered.
Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
