Vimeo don't refund you after a month has passed - their 'policy'. This is out of step with most online service providers.

Vimeo banned Brian Rose's account (londonreal) for no reason. Video failed to provide a reason. Vimeo didn't bother to respond. This was after the viral interview with David Icke. This interview was watched by tens of millions. They subsequently went on record a subsequent video which
What was vimeo so afraid we would see? They spoke about freedom of speech, about this insane lockdown, about the long term agenda of the cabal.

So if you believe in freedom of speech, then please close your vimeo account or find an alternative platform that believes in freedom of speech.

Vimeo censors art claiming to be pornography, but supports sex, pornographic and explicit videos on its platform.

They are censoring a series of video arts that question the power and cultural structure under the female body, it is a work of art and criticism, done with glitch, that is, it is not possible to see anything, however, give a quick search: https://vimeo.com/search/group/page:2?q=porn there are hundreds of really explicit videos!

I canceled my Vimeo account. The reason is that they charged me much more money than agreed. I subscribed for 20 dollars a month and without warning, they raised the price and charged me in one fell swoop 599 dollars. The site has all kinds of obstacles so that customers can not contact to claim. I would not recommend it because you will be alone without customer service, even when they seem to be very close.

Charged anyway

I signed up for free trial. Made sure to go into billing and shut off renewal but they did it anyway costing me $245 for something I don't use. It is not user friendly. I tried to contact them but just get thrown into a loop FAQ.

As a filmmaker I use this over youtube becuase it is a filmmaker venue, not so much for businesses who want traffic and marketing (use Youtube, it is Google's and much better for searches).

And not sure about censorship as I have seen films with all kinds fo messages and stories that I am sure if it were just a hate video or something, it might be taken down. (use youetube for those.)

Vimeo is for artists and storytelling with legitimate films. Not marketing for businesses or hate videos.

I have not had any issues other than some of the features require you to host your videos off of vimeo to work, such as garnering email addresses and such. I just want people to go to my vimeo channel and watch my films. And it works perfectly for that. HD is HD, not youtube fuzziness.

As a consumer, I've purchased several e-courses in membership format that offer streaming. 100% of those that use vimeo always have issues. It's not due to my internet speed, I have a fiber optic connection. I've even went as far as asking for a refund simply because the video wouldn't play through due to constant reloading. As a user they suck. If I purchase a streamed course and see that vimeo is the player, I go elsewhere or ask for the actual videos. Screen recordings do wonders. Most businesses have no idea how bad it is until its proven through screen recording. Generally, a 15 minute video could take nearly an hour to watch due to how trash the service is. Just thought I post this for anyon considering using it for e-learning, paid streaming etc.

I paid for 1 year vimeo plus. They deleted my account and did not answer any email. I was making educational videos translating lectures. Beware they are the worst of the worst!

Vimeo randomly deleted my account. They did not tell me they were going to do it and they didn't inform me they did it. I found out when I checked my personal website and a lot of videos were missing. This is the kind of unethical crap you can expect if you use them for your business or personal videos.

I paid for the full year membership and woke up to find my account had been disable. I wrote them to let them know there was an error and my account should not have been terminated (due to what they stated) and got a bot response of "oh $#*! for you". Like they literally did not care. YOU CAN NOT JUST STEAL MONEY FROM PEOPLE.
They are also very censoring so don't plan to have a voice on Vimeo if you sign up.

Why can't i get any help? I'm a paying customer who has been emailing and asking for Tech Support since 1/17! My profile page and VOD film pages are a mess! Buttons are not functioning and one of them actually revealed pages of code and not the videos it should have. Support staff just keeps issuing me more tickets saying Tech Support will update me--for over a week, now!?! I have posted my problems on their FB, Twitter & LinkedIn pages, over and over, and still nothing! And, I have an expensive Pro account! This company just does not care about their paying customers.

The worst video hosting site I ever used. They terminated my account without warning after 2 years accusing me of uploading ripped TV shows, which I did not do. I contacted their customer service and they just brushed me off. I clearly had no rights at all as a customer and they won't investigate their own blunders.

If you use your free account to do so much as upload a video that promotes your business in their platform, they shut your account down claiming you are doing business via the free account and that you can only upload business-related content if you pay for their paid platform. No wonder their marketshare is so low. Greedy mentality. Worst part is their paid upgrade is trash.

The absolute WORSE video hosting site I have ever experienced with.

They made some bs emailing saying I have to upgrade my account or it'll be deleted. So much for "free"

Then they deleted my account for adult content?! Never have any sort of "adult content". I lost ALL of my videos and work. Absolutely do not use this site.

I have subscribed mid of July because I was thinking to make a video for my job search. However I NEVER used the programme (no time, too compicated) - I was just charged over 70 USD after a free month try WIHTOUT ANY INFORMATION - emails, ect... In the confirmation Email after the subscription to the one months trial, it is written "after one month, your subscription will be confimed and AFTER THAT you will be charge" - this is SUCH a lie... I was charged ONE THE DOT one month later AND the subscription was not confirmed... As I read the review, I was not the only one ripped off...

Found it recently, but like it. Has a lot of good videos.
When searched where to travel in Spain have found videos about that place.
For now i search some property for sale in Barcelona https://tranio.com/spain/catalonia/barcelona for its climate and culture.
Videos are made good for getting info on something interesting

Beware of This Company. I purchased Yearly plan never used it then got hit with an automatic $240 charge the following year. Wait it gets better! NO ONE TO CONTACT WHEN YOU NEED A REFUND! RIPPED OFF

Went to purchase a rental for a video I really wanted to watch and vimeo said it couldn't process my card while at the same time CHARGING ME for it. They stole my money and now I can't watch the film and the contact form says it will take at least 3 days to get back to me. VERY SHADY.
