The overall reputation of the company reflects significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily driven by concerns over perceived political bias in content and inadequate customer support. Many users express frustration regarding account management issues, including unexpected charges and difficulties accessing accounts, which they feel are symptomatic of poor service. Conversely, some reviews highlight the platform's ability to facilitate user comments, suggesting a commitment to free speech. However, the overwhelming sentiment indicates a decline in trust and credibility, with calls for greater accountability and transparency in both content and customer service practices.

Love the news stream on the home page.
I've had my email with them for years. While I'm generally satisfied with the way the site works, I have had some problems savings drafts and attaching documents. Overall, a good experience.
Come on! More reviews on Yahoo! Lol.
Anyway, there's only two things I use yahoo for. My junk mail for yahoo, and the main topic, my news. Not saying I'm staying one side on the yahoo writers and all, but its seriously simple, easy access, and they give you an up date on almost anything that happens! Popular, world, leisure, disasters, etc. Besides that, i use google for all other tasks :P Still after so many years since I use yahoo when I was a kid, I'm still using it for other means.
Seller account is kind of confusing and not very professional looking.
Great mail hosting services, great news, some of the news reports or articles... You can't find them on some other website. Yahoo mail is easy to use and quick to manage. I've been using Yahoo since 08 sadly I do prefer the old version of yahoo mail instead of the beta new design one. Overall, It's a great.
I like Yahoo! Obviously since I use their mail. I like their outlook style in the e-mail theme. I like browsing different articles of different topics. Their write-ups though looked like that were written from a personal blog. They are sometimes lazy, no sense, or just a waste of time. Most of it though are really nice.
I do not use yahoo as a search engine. I heard their search engine was bought by Bing. I would still give Yahoo my 4 stars for having lots and lots of content in there to keep you busy reading.
Please Yahoo. We do not need internet gateways anymore, please figure out what it is that you do. Please provide me some reason to come back to the behemoth that first guided me in footie pajamas through the scary forest that was the internet of the early 90's.
I love the old comercials, I loved many things in the past, yet I find no added value in using your gateway rather than typing out the full URL of the exact product or service I am looking for.
Please, some innovation, a core-competency, anything. It astounds me that you are still a major player. Learn from AOL, they have developed a superb radio offering, (if visually unappealing).
Yahoo, please come back to us. Until then, I have no choice. One star...
Overall, yahoo is a good website. They pretty have everything, and make it pretty user friendly. I also enjoy how they put the news stories right on top, which is probably the main reason why I made it my homepage.
Yahoo! Is a great site for the news and email. Even though some of the news articles are very boring and repetitive, it is my go-to site for news, sports, email, and just about anything else.
Well... I have to admit I only use this website for their free email service & Yahoo Messenger. And it never disappoints me until now. I've been using their email service since 2001. Whew. Quite a customer I am :D. Otherwise the site was quite a bit fun. There are not so important news, celebrity gossip section from Yahoo OMG, Free game trial downloads, Yahoo Shine for your daily living articles, and of course Yahoo Answer, which is a very fun place to troll.(LOL). For free emails, Yahoo is the best.
I love this site so much, I guess everybody does, but I'm a BIG fan. The news, email, messenger, it has it all: x
10 STARS
Favorite fantasy sports on the internet. Mail is hit or miss. Messages have been lost within their servers. Easy to navigate and user friendly.
Honestly, if they would quit competing against Face Book on making F... Up changes and idiot improvements, it might actually be worth using! I use Bing A LOT! People tell me that it isn't that great, I use it for college and I have no complaints at all. My grades show the truth!
I had my email account with yahoo 12 years it was hacked last week all my folders were empty, bank info, ins info etc., ect. They emailed my entire address book and said I was in Londoin and needed money I actually have one of the emails. I contacted Yahoo and they said basically OH WELL SORRY nothing we can do
Mike's Writer's Workshop, on Yahoo Groups. Here is the address:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mikeswritingworkshop/
It's called a writer's workshop but is actually a writer's message board. It is a simple format, one single thread for all. Knowledgeable and helpful folk, a nice crowd. Good place for any type of writing-related information or to find critique partners. I like that the moderator/owner (Mike) does not participate in the chat as I've found that too often leads to all sorts of silliness, from favoritism to using unfair leverage (subtly or blatantly) to get to "win" any discussion. This forum is refreshingly free of mess.
The only reason I gave it a 3 instead of a 4 is, in all fairness, also a lot of the reason the mess is minimized- no messages are posted until Mike approves them. The problem with this is Mike might not be available to approve messages for hours, days or once even weeks.
If you can live with that, it's very nice.
Very nice site that i visit ever, it amazing and having a lot number of videos that help you in every field of life
Yahoo has many scammers and allows aliases that are found on dating sites. I figured out this guy/girl is a scammer and there is nowhere to report it. It is common knowledge that Yahoo allows this to happen.
Nice way to read movie reviews and ratings all in one place. Old movies or new releases. I really liked it when they had the "Movie Mom Reviews" because they'd explain why a movie was rated the way it was and for what scenes. You can still learn a lot of what you're looking for though, even if they have taken "Mom's" reviews away.
I've been posting on Yahoo news sites and have found the moderators there are very left=leaning, favoring what are now Islamist terrorists posting death threats against all non-Muslims over and over. Spammers will post anti-conservative rants over and over and although it's against the rules to do so, the mods will not delete them. However, if someone criticizes our the present man in the WH, it will not be posted. I just got through posting about the media being so self serving to the present administration, stating that Pravda is a much bettor source of unbiased info. It wasn't posted. I posted a link where the author was very critical of some of Obama's policies. Wasn't posted. But there are two pages of one Islamist posting the same threats over and over against the American public such as "We will rape you." I can't post the whole thing, but it's abut how they are everywhere and have the backing of IMPORTANT people, have access to the electronics of this nation and can turn us off immediately. Will take over our government. On and on. Nothing is done about it.
This is a very poor site for any kind of honest commentery on recent news. I've complained and complained. Nothing happens. Don't waste your time.
This is one of the regular websites which i visit and i find it interesting because it is provides a very convenient platform to know about movies, especially the latest, the upcoming and the released one.
Good graphics and most of them have reviews and ratings which help in deciding which one's to watch and which one's to avoid. I especially go for the section of 'In Theaters' provided at the bottom of the page.
Answer: Yahoo, is under going a big market change with Verizon Wireless, Yahoo! Has been running slow ever since they mention the Oath Brand, Inc. It was like the whole market crashed for Yahoo!, they are still working on buying back the stock, and I even wonder why the offer to buy, a company with no problem, that dose the same kinda of work without using or selling a telephone. Yahoo1 sould be up and running, but there is still, on when and how they are going to buy back the stock.
