I think that Zacks portfolio has a huge potential, but without at least a minimal investment know-how it can be risky. There are several very good services (Research Wizard, Top10 stocks, TAZR) with proven results. Others are hard to define and cannot take it without evaluation (e.g. Premium screens are not suggested without backtesting, but the style scores are not implemented in RW; other investment services e.g. Stock Under 10 are showing benefits, but the past performance is not annualized so it is hard to compare to market performance and if you do it is not that promising.

Zacks Ultimate Commentary is valuable - the smarts and insight that the portfolio strategists have. Their thinking is very informative and instructive. And their picks push me to buy stocks that left on my own I would not consider. For investing I follow Value Investor, Stocks Under $10, TAZR and Home Run Investor. I get valuable insight from reading Counterstrike, Insider Trader, and Large-Cap Trader. I've made a lot of $$$ with this approach and learned a great deal.

For years I traded stocks and had ok success until I joined Zacks and signed up for their trading services. They're trading services are actually all very good, but the one that stood out to me is their Tazr trading service. It's managed by Kevin Cooke who has many years of experience and especially in Technology which is what I'm interested in. I want to say "Thanks Kevin for always bringing us great new investment ideas" Kevin discovered Nvidia back in 2022 when it was only $12.50. He has a knack of finding winners. I also have to applaud the Zacks rating system for finding #1 Strong Buy Stocks and #2 Buy Stocks, combined with their ESP Earning forecaster... it's truly a Winning System and a Winning Team!

I subscribed to Zacks services in 2014, and I can confidently say it's been the best decision I've made on my journey as an investor. It's a very comprehensive platform, offering various types of service portfolios that adapt to each person's profile. I have a moderate risk profile and a strong focus on technology, so among my favorite services are TAZR, Technology, Counterstrike, Value Investor, Stocks Under $10, ETF Investor, and Surprise Trader portfolios. Some of the tools I use most include the Zacks Rank, stock screening, and every night I read the summary of each of my favorite services with the editors' analyses. This information is extremely valuable to me—it helps me analyze companies, entry and exit points, and more. The confidential Monday reports are also an excellent resource. Thanks to Zacks, I discovered companies like NVDA before it became famous, learned about Alibaba's IPO, and got to know PLTR, SOUN, BBAI, QBTS, RGTI, and many other companies that have brought me double-digit gains—sometimes multiple times in the same year. I have no doubt in recommending Zacks and its various editors. The lifetime subscription allows you to receive new portfolios as they're released. I recently started testing Research Wizard, which I hope will further expand my toolkit for successfully evaluating stocks.

I read the summary emails for Zacks Investor Collection, Home Run Investor, Income Investor, Value Investor, Zacks Top 10 Stocks, and Zacks Confidential. I follow Tracey Ryniec and Bryan Hayes on stock related issues, and Sheraz Mian and John Blank on macro-economic issues. While having a long term focus on my investment, Zacks Rank and Industry Rank help me to adjust my portfolio as needed. I have used Zacks Investor Collection since 08/08/2024. Calculated in EUR currency and per closing prices of 05/06/2025, I achived a TTWRR of +22.3% compared to the S&P 500's 1.7% since then.Yes, this year was a roller coaster ride, but Y/D performance now looks better: -7.6% vs. S&P 500's -12.5% (again in EUR).

Following Zacks advises for two months costed me a lot of money. And I think they did not give good advises. Two examples:
1) in feb Zacks advised to buy Walmart, they expected surprise earnings. That was surprising. Walmart had soared 60% in the previous 12 months and I did not expect that the earnings would match that. And indeed, after the earnings presentation later in feb Walmart started to drop. An avoidable loss of 20% in three weeks.
2) Celestica started to drop after it reached a peak value of 144 in feb, At 100 Zacks advised to buy it, because it was at its lowest value. But It kept going down. When it was it 90, the Motley Fool gave the advise to wait till it was below 80 before buying it. This was obviously a much better advise, and again an avoidable loss of 10% in two weeks.
And it became funny/awkward, when I mentioned this to them. At first they denied that they had ever advise Celestica. But their system ranks it 1 (ie strong buy), So I asked if he meant that I should not buy stocks with ranking 1. And then he finally confessed that they had indeed advised it, but that it was normal that you loose from time to time.
So I asked for a refund, which they did give. But then I started to get more and more spam (at the moment 30 emails per day) in which people promise unbelievable profits if I just click on one of the buttons. And I am not the first who has experienced this with Zacks. So I am convinced Zacks has sold my credentials on the Dark web.

As a small time investor for some 35 years, I have tried a number of services claiming that if I follow their advice, I will make winning investments. None of them have ever worked out, their "services" generally turn out to be platforms from which they advertise other sellers of market advice. I have used some of Zacks advice, gleaned from different brokerage info sites, and for 4 years now, have grown to respect Zacks, moreover I have been contacted by them in a very personal way. I have learned that Zacks really does take a personal interest in each individual investor, and that is unique in my experience. Zacks knowledge and expertise in stocks is the best and their crew the most sincere of any of their competitors I have found in my 35 years of market experience, and I have studied it hard.

As a valued Zacks Top 10 Subscriber for a year, I have consistently appreciated their comprehensive and professional approach to stock selection. The detailed information provided on the list of stocks is invaluable. Additionally, the daily market reports enhance my investment confidence and provide insights into the evolving market trends.
