I just received my Zager Guitar last week a Dreadnought ZAD900 Spruce/Roseswood Acoustic. What a beautiful guitar and the tone coming from this guitar is really something. Denny Zager advertises that his guitars are easy to play, and he is absolutely correct. I find myself now playing for over an hour at a time. In the past with my old guitar 30 to 40 minutes tops. My fingers would be tired from mashing down on the string hard enough to get a good tone out of them. Not anymore! Thank you Denny Zager, and the Zager family for such a great guitar.

The Zager Travel is the best you can buy for the price range ($600.00). I was looking for a travel size guitar with solid wood top, sides and back. Martin and Taylor offer a travel size but both have only solid top with laminate sides and back. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a travel guitar look into the Zager Travel solid African Mahogany. The Build is amazing solid, high end tuners keep it in tune. The sound is big and clear with perfect intonation at the 12th fret. Also, comes with a nice hard case and a bunch of free stuff.The customer service is the best and the easy play action is just as advertised. Love the Guitar!

I ordered a parlor size model with the shorter 23.5" fretboard. The ability to order one with a narrower nut width (1.625") was also a plus for me. When it arrived it played and sounded great - at least as an acoustic. The build quality, finishes, tuning machines and fretboard all all first rate, especially compared to the Baby Taylor it replaced. The Baby Taylor (base model) sounds and feels like a toy next to this. When used as an electric there was too much low frequency coming thru the pickup. My guess is the pickup somehow dislodged during shipping.

Anyway, it was past the 30 day return window when I discovered this. I emailed the Zager folks and they offered to pay for a local shop to adjust it or send it back. My shop suggested I send it back so I did - no questions asked from Zager. All I had to do was drop it off at the local FedEx place with the shipping label they provided and a new one arrived in a few days. This new one is great all around. They did suggest I buy a Fishman Loudbox amp (120 Watt) amp to go with it - I did. That amp sounds good (especially at higher volumes and with an accompanying vocal) but both me and a sound engineer friend of mine think the inexpensive ($120) Acoustic A20 sounds cleaner at low volumes.

Thanks to the Zager folks for answering all my inane questions, providing advice and for sending me a new guitar when I had an issue - and they no longer had an obligation to do so. For my money it is the best smaller neck, rich sounding parlor size acoustic on the market today.

I was first impressed by the Zager customer service. My ZAD50CE arrived well packed and secure. I am very happy with the guitar and even more so because of the very detailed description as to what to expect as it is played more. The custom humidity controlled case is a thing of beauty and is also very functional. I left it in a hot environment overnight and the guitar staying cool. I was missing one small tool and had an immediate and positive response to my email to support. The on-line lessons and informational videos are super helpful. I am a very happy customer.

I purchased my guitar about a month ago and frankly I was a little skeptical about the purchase, particularly since I was not familiar with this brand and honestly it seemed a little too good to be true. So I placed the order anyway figuring that I could easily return if it didn't meet my expectations.

I played acoustic guitar through the high school years (3 chords for all the popular folk songs at the time) and now at 75 yrs of age I thought I would take it up again. Over the years I became a decent pianist and spent a lot of time learning music theory and composition. I also played the ukulele and conducted sing-a-longs at assisted-living facilities for 10 years after I retired. So I thought I would like a new challenge. It probably didn't hurt that a grew up listening to 'In the Year 2525'.

Bottom line: thank goodness I made the right decision. And who sends along extra strings (which I successfully changed yesterday), AND a t-shirt, AND the accessories? And all of it is of the best quality! Not to mention the outstanding instrument. I really appreciate all the info about set-up, adjusting action, and restringing. And the website is chock full of very useful information. Of course, the teaching videos may be dated in terms of video quality but the information contained there in is as helpful as it ever was.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Now off to practice the Love Me Tender arrangement which has introduced me to a whole new way of playing.

I opened the box, tuned it up and have not wanted to put it down... what more can I say. If you want the feeling of being young again and the rush that you got the first time you played your favorite song, this is the guitar for you. I got the ZAD 50ce/n, and could not be more pleased. I am 72 yrs. Old and my fingers move on it like butter. Your chat service is great and you replied within 5 mins. It is like having an old friend, both with the guitar and your company. Thanks for renewing my faith in mankind.

My wife and sons purchased a 900 OM electric cutaway for me for my birthday after I was complaining about fighting my Martin. The craftsmanship is amazing, it plays so easily and plugged into a Fishman acoustic amp the sound is better than I would expect. I have a lot of guitars, acoustic and electric and this is at the top of my list.

I just recently purchased a guitar from Zager Guitars. I'm 69 and decided that I wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I went to several music stores and spoke to musicians that I know and the name Zager easy play kept coming up so I contacted the company several times. Their assistance was invaluable. They answered every question that I had, and being a beginner there were many. They recommended a model and I purchased it. The guitar is absolutely awesome and sounds great. It even comes with a lifetime warranty and free shipping. I can't recommend Zager guitar enough. I'm looking forward to learning to play the guitar for many years to come. You really can't go wrong with the Zager guitar company.

I got my new Zager guitar recently and all I can say is it is such a great instrument that it really inspires me to play better. I'm enjoying everything about it, from the beauty of the craftsmanship to the ease of playing to just the feel of holding this guitar. I don't honestly have much to compare it to because I'm an amateur without much experience except playing just for fun over the years, but I've always wanted to play better. I have access to lessons but playing on my old guitar was always such a chore. Thanks, Zager, for the inspiration. I know I'm going to enjoy this guitar for many many years.

All I can say is that customer service is as fantastic as the guitars that they build! I have had several question's and they are always answered quickly and thoroughly! I also inquired about a sound hole plug and there was sent out that week, and a week later a pack of the Zager picks arrived to my surprise! Love these picks!

I received my Zager 80CE in late May and it is just an incredible instrument. Simply just can't put it down. I own Taylor's, Martin's, and even an old favorite, a classic vintage 1970's rosewood Alvarez, but this guitar has instantly become my favorite. Great sound (getting better every day), playability is off the charts, and it's quality is exceptional. My only dilemma is whether to keep it in my summer home or send it south with me for the winter? I have a birthday coming up …. Maybe buy another to have one at both places could be a workable solution.

My experience with Zager guitars has been exceptional. I purchased my ZAD80CE guitar through an EBAY auction. When it arrived I found out that the electronics were bad.
I reached out to Zager guitars and asked about how they looked at my purchase through EBAY. I was told that if I owned a Zager guitar I was part of the Zager family.
They helped me determine if my saddle was a wide or narrow design and I upgraded the electronics to a Fishman Prefix Plus-T. This guitar plays great and now sounds great through my amp. Purchasing this guitar was a great decision.

I've played guitar since the age of six. My father taught me to play. He played on a radio program in the 50's. I'm no stranger to a good guitar. When I randomly bumped into the Zager ad on the internet I was skeptical but after reading the history of Mr. Zager, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the zad80ce. I was thoroughly impressed. It plays much easier than my Martin D 28 (which has a very good set up) and it has more volume and a great bottom and mid range. I play a mixture of all types of music. Last week I played a show with it for the first time and I was not the only one impressed. I have recommended Zager to other musicians. The only downside is the free Zager tee shirt that came with it is an XL and I'm a 2 X. Lol. GREAT guitar. I will eventually buy the zad900. John
