I purchased a Timbuk2 bag.
After making my purchase, the site indicated that a confirmation email would be sent to me. But that email didn't arrive in my Gmail inbox for another day. So I worried a little, especially in view of some of the negative reviews I had read.
However, I then received another email about a day later indicating that my order was processed and being shipped. This gave me some reassurance.
And lo and behold, the item arrived, new, as described. I was actually surprised, given that the item is no longer available on the manufacturer's website.
I emailed Zozo customer support to share my experience they responded within 1 business day. I appreciated that.
So except for the rough start, I would recommend this site. All went well in the end.
I recommend that if you plan to make a purchase, 1st call the company and verify if they honor ZOZI vouchers with a smile!
* I just purchased the Catalina ZipLine deal since there are no other deals around.
The reviews of ZOZI scared me and I was going to just pay full price to avoid any headaches. Then I called Zip Line Eco Tours and asked if they honor the vouchers from ZOZI. The kind lady said Yes and they said they have been using ZOZI for 4 months & have not had any problems with ZOZI. So I was re-asured that I can proceed with my purchase.
As a follow-up to my previous review, we contacted Zozi and their management was quick to resolve the problem and send our missing payments. I still can't claim they're excellent, at least for inns, since their entire site seems to be focused on "adventure weekends". Bed & Breakfasts, in contrast, are about relaxing, and generally avoiding adventure. At least the sort that lands you in hospital. :)
I purchased two Sherpani bags from Zozi.com earlier this week. Did not receive a purchase confirmation, nor a shipping confirmation. However, when I emailed Zozi to find out the status of my order, I received a response from Rebekah in minutes (literally two minutes at most). She was very professional and very helpful, and provided me with a Fedex tracking number, which showed me that the order had already been delivered to my home. When I got home from work tonight, I opened the package and was thrilled to see my two new bags - in perfect condition, brand-new packaging, and at half the retail price, a total bargain. I couldn't be more pleased with both my purchase and the service I received from Rebekah. While I can't speak to their getaways, their conduct with regard to product purchases was flawless. I would not hesitate to order from them again.
I bought a product ( jacket) so cannot review the experiences that the rest of the reviewers have appeared to have difficulty with.
Product was as intended, shipped and arrived ontime. No complaints ( despite the cautionary reviews).

I have bought several experiences from Zozi and I am always treated as a second class citizen by the merchants. The providers Zozi works with all seem to hate Zozi and pass on their sentiments to Zozi customers. I have been told by several merchants they have not received payment from Zozi and complain of the nightmare it is to work with them. I am officially fed up and will stop giving them my money.
Also, Zozi advertises amazing deals with big discounts, however, if you do some research you will find the marked discount rarely matches the actual cost. Zozi hikes up the price of true cost of the experience to allow them to market a larger discount. This is fraud and a total scam. Zozi looks really cool but is just another Groupon clone that survives by scamming their customers and the merchants who do the real work.

I hate that you've had issues with our merchants. We try very hard to find merchants who offer an awesome experience in all aspects for our customers. Each merchant has agreed to working with ZOZI and should have a great relationship with us (they agree to run their experience on ZOZI). I am sorry if that doesn't seem to be the case, but we are always available to talk to customers and merchants alike about any concerns they have (including payment).
ZOZI's goal is to bring great experiences and adventures to our customers and let them know about opportunities they may not otherwise be familiar with. We always try to get customers the best price. Sometimes we're able to provide a rate reduction other times we just want customers to know about something amazing in their area. There's no scam here, just people passionate about living actively and encouraging others to do so. I had first an annoying experience with Zozi and then a wonderful one. Two of my purchases expired without my knowing. When I called costumer service they just advised me to contact the seller, which is a annoying. I then posted a very negative comment on here and a few days later an other costumer service rep emailed me and offered me to give me credit for that expired "adventures'". Rebekah was so nice and she really apologized and got me back as a costumer :)

Kiss your money goodbye. I booked a trip through this site and when I contacted the vendor who was running the trip I found out that the accommodations were far inferior to what was advertised. They claimed there was some misunderstanding and offered an upgrade for another $500. They also claimed that the first night of hotel would be extra even though it was clearly stated that it was included. I ultimately decided to cancel as I didn't feel safe halfway around the world with some unknown company.
I contacted Zozi and at first they said they couldn't give a refund but would credit my account. A week later after hearing nothing I contacted them again. This time they said they couldn't refund or credit my account and I should contact the vendor to try to get my money back. I contacted the vendor and they basically told be to f#$% off, as I would expect from a shady third world company.
So now I'm out almost $4,000. So much for the "100% money back guarantee"!
Also I found that booking directly with the vendor would have cost me the same as the Zozi "50%" off deal. Make sure you check their supposed "deals" against the normal price you would pay booking directly.
Any one else interested in a class action lawsuit around misleading advertising?

Wow this site sucks. Never buy anything form here. I bought a messenger bag on sale here, and the order went through, no problem. I got an email saying i should receive the bag in 7-10 days. 2 weeks later, I hadn't received anything, so I had to be the one to call them to see what happened. A day later, they finally figure out that they sold out of the bag and they'll just refund me. So... it pretty much took them 2 weeks for a customer to have to point out to them that they screwed up on their own inventory.

Possibly my fault- I bought a eco tour adventure for my daughter and I, never realizing that it was only good for the next two weeks. OK, my bad. Trying to get a refund now is such a hassle. Called and emailed with specifics and get back generic replies of "we are looking into your request". Haven't been able to get onto the customer service part of the site to even complain. They did send a "how did we do email and when I replied" poorly. Suddenly my complaint and their response showed up. The site is a hassle.And BTW. I just bought a snorkeling "deal" for $50 per person off zozi and then went to the snorkeling company's site and the regular price on the site is $50 per person. It's a scam and I won't be using the site anymore.

Horrible customer service. The sunglasses I ordered came with the wrong color frames and lens. The customer service reps only solution to the problem was to reorder the correct gear online and then pay return shipping (they automatically charge you $7 shipping on returns) which came to a grand total of $21 shipping on a $45 item. Its been 4 days since I reordered the sunglasses and I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. If you want the correct merchandise in a timely manner stick to Zappos or Amazon. This place is a joke.
What can I say? I have purchased 3 experiences on this site over the last 12 months, and they have all been amazing.
I typically use ZOZI for travel related events, so I spend most of my time looking at their "Getaways".
My girlfriend and I traveled to Miami and stayed at one of their hotels as well as a hotel in Dallas (work related) and took a trip up to Northern California (Mendocino).
Each and every place we stayed were incredible. I'm honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews.

Zozi provided by far the best experience I have ever encountered using the deal sites. They have a focused point of view that totally fits in with my lifestyle. I went scuba diving last month with them and it ruled! Today I logged on just to take a look and got a FREE deal on horseback riding, FREE. Seriously, who does that? Rad!

I am so frustrated right now it is hard to type this. DO NOT USE THIS WEB SITE FOR ANYTHING! I ordered a pair of 115$ (they usually are close to $200 everywhere else) gortex Adidas boots from zozi.com. These are boots I need for work and ordered them because my old boots were close to falling apart. The website says items ship next day and you should receive them within 7-10 business days. That seemed like a long time, but I knew my old boots would last that long and for the price it was worth the wait. WRONG! Today is day 16 since I placed the order. I started calling this morning as soon as they opened. No answer. I got a automated voice message asking me to leave a message and that they would return my call. I did. 7 hours later no returned call. I also have called numerous times throughout the day with no customer service rep ever speaking to me and I sent a detailed email of my issues with no response. That was bad enough. Here comes the real kicker. I finally got a hold of someone by the name of Allison. She says "Well we send the order directly to Adidas and they ship it" huh? Then she says, "Well hold on, let me check with the gear department." She goes on to explain to me that "The boots were sent to us instead of Adidas" which makes zero sense to me. She says, "We will expedite the shipping and give you 20$ zozi credit." The boots have been in their warehouse this entire time and no one wondered where the hell they were supposed to go. All in all this is probably my fault by not looking into the company. They have an F with the BBB and every review is horrible. Do not use this site. Plain and simple.

Bought a deal for a 5k. Had no problems registering and using the code given. The problem came when the race was cancelled and I tried to get a refund. Sent an email and two weeks later had received NO response. Finally called, twice and there were not any CSRs to take my call. Left a voicemail. I also tried the live chat and again no one was available. Makes no sense as I called during business hours. (11am PST, their hours are 9-5 PST).
Their line that they try to respond to all inquiries within "two hours" is a load of crap. I will never purchase from them again.

Well I guess the BBB ranking of an "F" makes sense. I too got scammed by this unorganized daily deal site!
Bought a local tour package to do some sight seeing while in town on a business trip. When I showed up at the merchant they had NO CLUE about this company or my print out.
Tried to contact the company and no one even got back to me by email or phone... A week later I got an email and it was quit comical, like a 12 year old was handling there customer service department.

Why isn't 0 star an option for this site? They ran the promotions where they do not intend to keep. What's the point of wasting my time. DO NOT ORDER from them unless you are clear of their definition "sales". Basically, they are limiting one person per one order per one item. The site is not allowing the discount per each email address, so I used different email address to take advantage of the sales they are running. They decided to cancel all my orders because they consider this to be a"fraudulent activity". I am using my hard earn $$ to pay for my goods, who is the real fraud in this case? I will leave that for you to decide. I also blamed myself of rushing into deciding buying from a new merchant without research. Shame on me.
Been on several activities I bought on Zozi. The whole idea behind the website is awesome. Yes some of the different tour operators may not be as flexible or the same, but what Zozi does is awesome. Always recommend this site to my friends. It's a site that only promotes cool stuff in your area to do... not dumb discounted things nobody wants like on other sites.

The 100% satisfaction guarantee is a fraud. I emailed them and never received any response. The deal they had was to make a pendant and they showed a totally different photo than what was made in class. Very unhappy I wasted my time and money.
