I had a terrible experience buying Aeropostale loungeware from Ross. One leg is shorter than the other. It's unfortunate that companies that used to be big would manufacture and sell a garment with such a major flaw, pass quality control, and be offered to customers.
Ordered some pants, returned them and never got my refund… then they issued me gift cards even though I paid with Apple Pay visa. Many attempts at calling and chatting and emailing they all say yes it was refunded to your visa! Nope you gave me two e-gift cards! Finally got someone to say oops and they would mail me a check and still over a month later I haven't seen it.
I did not receive my package they told me I will get a refund soon as my package got back to them I been tracking the package when they got the package I called that was two weeks ago still not giving me my money back. I been on hold over hour off and on for the last few days. I am still fighting for my refund. Will never order from them again
Whatever you do, never buy anything from this company. Their return policy is a nightmare. I originally bought 7 items from this company and decided to return 3 of the items. Finding their return portal was almost impossible. You have to go digging in their website to find the link. A couple days later, I decided that I actually didn't want 2 more items from my order so I wanted to add them to the initial return request They wanted to charge me an additional $8 for the second return (for a total of $16). Considering I haven't sent the first return, I decided to call to see if they can either cancel the return request so I can make a new one or add those two items to my original request. And this is where $#*! hit the fan. I had to contact them on FOUR different occasions and in the end, I'm just paying the $16 and never using this site or company ever again. The first time I called, I was in the middle of explaining what the issue was and the phone just hung up. No callback nothing. Next I sent an email and they told me to "log out of my account and clear my cookies"!? Called again and they said they'll email me a free return label and I should receive it in 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS. Never got it. The fourth time I officially lost it. The rep was not listening at all. I told him I had already initiated a request and want to cancel it because the last rep said he was going to email me a return label and I never got it. After asking me which items I wanted to request, he proceeded to tell me that "a return request has already been initiated". Yes, that's literally what I said and the reason for this call is because I don't want to pay an additional $16 for returns that haven't been sent yet. Cue more non-listening and me repeating back the initial 5 minutes of this conversation and he sent me a return label that costs $8. At this point, I don't have the energy to call again but this experience has been a total disaster. No wonder this place is going out of business.
Ordered pants online.pants did not fit.called store 35 miles away said to bring them in and I could swap them out. Got there only to be told I could not swap then that I had to mail them.called customer service and they had the nerve to tell me they were charging g me 8.00 in shipping tyo return them after I drove 70 miles wasting my gas and time. It will be a cold day in hell before I shop with these smart $#*! customer service or these crooked people that own this co.pany. What a damn ripoff. Save your money and go to old navy...rue 21. Khols or somewhere that has a little more respect and appreciation for their custers. They need to realize if it wasent for their customers they would even be able to answer the phones to be smatasses with poor customer skills. What a joke!
I placed an order for one tshirt and now 10 days later I still haven't received my order. This is really ridiculous for it to take so long. When I called Customer service the rep mentioned if I haven't received the order in 15 days to contact them. I find that reply even worse for it to be okay to have to wait 14 days to receive an order. I will not be ordering from this store again. Good luck to those who choose to order.
Ups has a tracking number and it was picked up and supposed to be sent to me by USPS. I NEVER RECEIVED IT.i called customers service...I've never been more unhappy with any company...customer service is the worst I've ever talked to. Absolutely disgusted. They are the worst do not buy from them
I ordered 2 pairs of men pants, I received only one. Called customer service, they promised to send me a refund. It was 3 weeks ago still didn't get anything. Called them and they said they have problem with financial department. Very bad customer service.
Terrible customer service. I can't speak for the clothes because not only will I not receive my order due to a shipping issue, I will also not receive a refund.
Purchased a pair of sunglasses in June 2023.
In July 2023,1.5months later I noticed the lenses on both the left and right sides kept falling off the frame with any movement.
Sent emails to customer service, called a few times, waited for what seems forever to get an agent, only to get the run around from one agent to another and then they hung up.
I called back and finally someone who barely spoke english said we have no warranty!
There you have it, everything they sell is designed to be thrown away due to the extreme poor quality.

I have called a few times and have spent anywhere from 30 mins to 48 mins on hold, eventually I hang up as they never answer the phone. The chats are like talking to by 5 year old grandson, they have what seem to be generic answers, and cant give you any specific answer. I will never buy anything from this brand again. Terrible experience.
I will never order from this place again. Apparently they're having some issues with their return process. Had I known this, I would've saved myself the aggravation. When initiating a return the store have to send a request to another department in order to create a label to send to the customer. This process can take up to 24 hours. 24 hours just to recieve a return label. Just imagine the process when they receive your order then process your return? I'll save myself furthering my aggravation. I kept my too big denim jacket. I'll never purchase anything online nor will I purchase anything in store. I'm sure in store have an unusual process too.
I want to cancel an order I placed 10 minutes ago and I've been on hold for over 50 minutes so far to talk to an agent. All I want to is cancel my order but there is no button or anything that will allow me to do that on the website so my only option is to call customer service and wait probably hours to talk to someone.
My wife and my MIL have ordered before and we haven't received any of it, recently we ordered school clothes for my daughter and they never even sent it to UPS and put it in for a return, wtf, we won't buy from them again. They said they would reship and I haven't heard from them since even ignoring emails now. 0 stars
While we were leisurely strolling into the store, having a delightful time, we encountered a pleasant-looking blonde woman. However, I can't help but feel that she might be a sociopath after what transpired in this distressing incident. My friend decided to try on a shirt worth only four dollars. Upon handing it to the aforementioned blonde girl, for some inexplicable reason, she forgot that my friend had given it to her. Consequently, the store employee began harassing her, demanding to know its whereabouts. Despite my friend maintaining a calm demeanor, she politely explained that she had already handed it over and was unaware of its current location. Nevertheless, the store employee persistently accused her of shoplifting. It is not our responsibility that this store employs incompetent staff, and as a result, we have decided not to patronize this establishment in the future.
It's terrible that there's no -1 star rating here. This clothing company does not even deserve 1 star. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. Their customer service is very unhelpful. I cancelled my purchase less than 2 hours after making a purchase because I did not receive any confirmation email whether my purchase went thru or not. When I called their customer service, they said they will cancel it and refund within 3-5 biz days which they did not. No email confirmation again about this request, i called again after 4 days and was advised that there's nothing that they can do anymore because the order has been shipped already. Asked for a supervisor and the supervisor was rude.
Me and my friends went to a location in Aurora Ohio. We were looking at the earrings and earlier we had bought earrings from American eagle that are way more expensive when we checked out at American eagle they asked if we wanted a bag we said no because we could just put them in the purse instead of carrying around a bag. We then go into AéRopostale and look at their earrings seeing they are much cheaper we pull out the other earrings comparing them to theirs and decided to leave the store and return to American eagle to return the earrings we had purchased we then realized we had forgotten the wallet in AéRopostale. We returned the earrings and go back to AéRopostale to buy their earrings and get the wallet we then entire the store and the lady who was working told us to get out for "stealing" we had not stole anything they were staying we put earrings in the purse and walked out first of all they are American eagle earrings and we tried telling them that and showing proof but they did not even look at our receipt second of all if they saw us stealing wouldn't you have stopped us right then and there not let us walk out so then we had gotten yelled at to get out of the store and we were not able to get the wallet back.
I ordered almost 300 dollars worth of items on Black Friday. A week later the shipping updates said the package had been damaged and the box was empty so they notified sender and were returning the box. 1 week later I reached out to them in regards to an update. They said they would reship. 1 week later I asked for an update and was told they never put in the reship order but were doing it now. I get a confirmation email for 17 items but I had purchased 26. Items come 2 days later and items weren't even the ones I originally ordered AND were 17 not the 26. I called and was told I should get a refund as the 9 items are out of stock and then hung up on me. So next day I contact support through website. Explain situation and ask for refund of those 9 items. Was told to give them the items numbers and the lady closed the chat with me after I listed the 2nd one. Put in a refund request through PayPal for just the 9 items. Aero sent them the original shipping number (which says box is being shipped back to sender) and tells me I need to be patient and wait for the package. After dealing with several rude customer service reps and the dozens of emails asking for an update. It's been over a month and still no refund. Just "we are still reviewing the refund". How long does it take to issue a refund? I will never spend another cent on them. I also was ghosted through their Facebook page. They only care about ripping you off.
Online experience was normal compared to any other online stores. But beware and read their return policy before thinking that you can return products hassle-free. I thought I could order some jeans, and if they don't fit, then I can return them to the store. HOWEVER, The returning process was horrendous.
When I went to the store, the manager shared that they only accept in-store purchases, and online purchases must be returned by mail. When returning by mail, they subtract $7 from the return credit to cover for the shipping fees.
On my part, I forgot to pack another item that I intended to return, so I went to the store to ask about if I could at least return it for store credit. However, since I included the packing slip when I returned my other items, I did not have a physical receipt. I assumed from returning items at other stores, then maybe they could use my order number to look up the information. The associate had me call customer service to obtain transaction number, THEIR OWN STORE NUMBER, and date of purchase. Then hand all this information to them so they can start to process my return for STORE CREDIT. From other retail store experiences, they at least could find all the listed information from a confirmation or order number, since it was an online purchase. So I am feeling so confused why it takes so much work to return online times at the store.
With this experience, I am just bewildered by how much work it is to return online items and the inconsistency to help return items at the physical store. One retail associate has told me it was not possible to return online items to the store, and then another retail associate told me it was possible, but difficult without a packing slip.
I have no complaints shopping online on their store website. Unfortunately, the returning process has left an impression that makes me hesitant to buy anything from their store (online and in-store) since I have to put in so much effort to return their items.
Black Friday items just got cancelled and I won't be refunded for 30 days. This is not right and I will be short Christmas gifts.
