I now realize that this platform is an untrustworthy one from which I will never consider purchasing any sort of my travel needs. Absolutely stay away!
When i had a trip to Egypt, I worked with this website. Basically it's all in one solution because here you can book a flight, book a hotel or place for kinda private stay, plus they are generous enouhg to give some atteactive coupons.
Other than that, here you can even buy tickets for ferry, trains, airport transfers and rent a car. That is the reason why I consider it as a platform packed up with all necessary things for having pleasant voyage.

They booked me into a hotel that hadn't existed for THREE YEARS. When i arrived at the address, the hotel had a different name. On further enquiries I found the hotel Agoda booked me into had been taken over by a completely different owners THREE YEARS previously. Having no other choice I had to pay for a room at.5 times the Agoda price, I had already paid (to Agoda) Agoda think a fair resolution is to refund me the payment I made to them, for their fictional hotel, and give me 10% as Agoda credit. Absolutely no compensation for the ££££s I am out of pocket. Avoid this shambles of a company at all costs

I made a booking through Agoda and requested to have my booking amended by adding an extra night to the reservation but they never made the change and I had to book a separate hotel for one night thanks to them. I would recommend booking through a different company since they didn't follow up on making the amendment to my reservation.
I recently had a terrible experience with Agoda that left me feeling scammed and extremely disappointed with their customer service. I made a reservation through Agoda for a hotel stay, but the reservation was canceled, and despite multiple assurances of a refund, I have yet to receive my money back.
Not only did Agoda take my money without providing the service I paid for, but their customer service was also abysmal. The lack of communication and the failure to resolve the issue in a timely manner only added to my frustration.
I urge anyone considering using Agoda to think twice and beware of the risks involved. The lack of accountability and the disregard for customer satisfaction make Agoda a company to avoid at all costs.
I hope that by sharing my experience, others can be spared from falling victim to similar scams and poor customer service. Agoda needs to improve its policies and practices to ensure that customers are treated fairly and with respect.
In conclusion, my experience with Agoda has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against using their services. Beware of Agoda - you might end up being scammed and left with no support from their customer service team.
Only Liars are working at this company. They wasted my time for 2 weeks with no solution. They were putting me on hold, and then hang up. Then with emails same story over and over, they would go around with me, but not to solve my problem with a refund. They are the worst to deal with, and I called the hotel were we have stayed one night, and the manager was ready to help us, but not AGODA. I am highly recommend to avoid to book via their app, as if something happens you will not see your money. They didn't want to refund for one night out of 2, as I made a honest mistake and booked for a wrong date. So they needed to refund for one night. They were lying that they reached out to the property and their policy is not allowing to refund, so I called the hotel, and the manager told me if we did not stay there, and she saw that we stayed just one night, she will refund us, and she mentioned that she did not get a call or email from Agoda, lol. So those liars did not do anything to help, and wanted to take our money. If a person makes a mistake and can't have their money back right away, something is wrong with the company. Please, stay away!
I spent hours finding the hotel I wanted, booked it w agoda, and it was cancelled they said due to credit card error. Now the hotel/room I wanted is gone. No one reached out to allow me to correct the situation, they just cancelled it. When I asked for help rebooking they were no help. AWFUL
I tried to book a room, and the site said the room at that price was no longer available. And the transaction was canceled only to find out that I was charged and hour later after I had booked another room. They even had the nerve to say that it never happened. This is a bad site don't book here.
I made a mistake on the dates of a recent non refundable booking. I immediately rebooked using the correct dates. Agoda refused to refund my payment for the first booking. They collected twice.
Agoda charged me more than 7% on top of my room for exchange rate. However, exchange rate from AED to USD never vary this much and other sites like booking.com never add any extras.

We had booked hotel from Agoda,we reached the hotel to find out our booking was cancelled long back even though I had paid my money during booking. As per Agoda, it is a mistake of a 3 Rd party, which I really don't care. I had booked the hotel for specific date bcoz it was birthday of my wife. It doesn matter if they refund me the whole amount, the has wasted and so has my mood. I shall never recommend anyone for Agoda n never will book myself. If they do not care for customer why should we care.
Never booked or heard about Agoda.com, but found a better deal on their website for Trump Internarial resort in Miami and decided to book. We booked in February for 3 night. When we arrived Trump resort did not have our reservation and told us never had ever any booking from Agoda.com. At the resort counter when we first tried to contact Agoda we received email from them informing us that Trump property canceled our reservation (how something can be canceled without existing?)We received Our vacation turned in to nightmare, we had to look for a rooms day by day. End up spending more on hotels and we had to look for rooms daily. Agoda.com fully refunded money, but on vacation you want to enjoy your trip and not to stress. If you decide to Book with Agoda make sure to call actual property to confirm your booking before arrival.
Website bumped up my reservation to a week later, could not cancel. Sent me an email denial with a no response email. Poor design, and no customer service.
We reserved a room that had breakfast included and when we got here we are being told it is not included. This is a ear bait and switch, in addition it says there is a golf course, but there is none onsite.
My girlfriend and I booked through Agoda and holy $#*! save yourself the trouble and don't book through these scammers. Sure the price is nice and cheap, but you're literally praying to god that you win the lottery and they miraculously don't cancel on you. Called customer service and you're met with an outsourced employee that was unprofessional and hung up on us.
Nothing but thieves... Paid for our accommodation and when we arrived the apartment was nothing like advertised... It was moldy, had broken door in bathroom n kitchen cupboards... We told the host we weren't happy and they told us to leave... Anyway long story short, Agoda supported the host by saying we wanted to cancel when I had video evidence that the host told us to leave... So at the end of the day the host denied us to check in and got paid $1200 for not supplying any services and Agoda got their kickback as well... Well done Agoda you are a bunch of thieving clowns 🤬🤬
I'm a property owner, Agoda let guests use my property without my consent subsequently lead to guests being turned away don't use agoda
Worst experience no one should take their service till today they have not refunded my money no holiday company takes more than 7 days to refund. They are litrally taking more than 45 days they say that also excluding the holidays and saturay sunday litrally this is not mentioned on their site only you will come to know once you are there in their refund trap. Litrally a froad company its been 45days that my hjoliday money is in vain and these people has no response worst service ever.
I was deceived by their cash reward. It was easy for Agoda to take your money. However, when it comes to getting the cash reward, I have to wait 60 days after checking out of hotel. The inconvenience and hassle of claiming the reward. I need to scan the QR code and install its app in order to do a claim. Instead of crediting the claimed amount into credit card I used, I was prompted for my bank details. After 10 days of filing, I checked my bank and credit card statements, there were still no deposits from Agoda. I contacted its agents and was asked to contact my bank. Subsequent complaints through emails and chats all quoted, "For your cashback, we would like to inform you that your cashback has been claimed already, as we can see here on our end. You should try to check it with your bank in order to track your cashback." Its ridiculous why would my bank withholds the money or blocks the deposit. I was contacting them to investigate and check where the money was deposited if Agoda has acted on it. It seems to me that Agoda is trying to scam me, making it difficult to request an investigation. It seems to be from AI agents, not bothering to check with its accounts dept.
Last week, I even went to my bank to check and was told I need to check with Agoda and not them. Also my bank account was not blocked.
Do not get conned by its misleading discount and good rates for Platimium member. I paid the same rates as any normal account holder.
Be wary of its many discount offers and claims.

The administrator failed to confirm my booking in the evening, claiming they could not see it in their system and stating that the reserved room was unavailable, despite all the correct booking information being provided. Instead, they offered me a different room. At 10 PM on December 31st, traveling with a child, I had no choice but to agree and pay again for the alternative room. I immediately reported the issue to Agoda for assistance. The room we were given was in an unacceptable condition: it was dirty, there were holes in the bathroom walls, and mold was visible. It was nowhere near the standard described in the booking. The following morning, a different administrator located my original booking and refunded the payment for the additional room. However, they falsely claimed that I had stayed in the room I originally booked. This is not true—the room I stayed in differed significantly from the description and photos provided at the time of booking. Despite providing all necessary evidence, Agoda has refused to support my complaint, stating that the hotel confirmed my booking, which does not address the poor service, the forced additional payment, or the unacceptable condition of the room. This experience demonstrates an appalling lack of customer care from both the hotel and Agoda. As a customer, I feel my rights were ignored, and no proper resolution was provided. I expect Agoda to take accountability and address this issue properly, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.
Answer: Well, you probably need to call the customer service online or send them email from Agoda to get a reply. I feel that it was in vain to look for any help or compensation once your reservation has been done. Even the you overlooked some tricky information, Agoda will completely ignore what you said and push the blame to the hotel/property or the users. That is how I feel after trying so sort our the issue. Once a mistake is made, we probably can only eat it. Never expect they will admit any misinformation on line.
