Booked early Jan, now told 3 different reasons why hotel is cancelled.No alternative offered and hotel is still available but at way higher price. This site is a con and call routed to India where told to take a refund or keep the flights, no email or number for senior manager given despite asking numerous times. Avoid at all costs!
Booked a hotel in Portugal through alpharooms for my daughters wedding this September. As I thought it was a very good price I contacted some of my family to book aswel. We all received confirmation emails and happy our hotel was booked. A few wks later we received emails saying no room availability and an error occured. What a joke we checked website and they still had rooms available. Will never book with alpharooms again. Avoid!

Booked a holiday package 3 days ago never got confirmation. Money was taken straight away, and thats over £1200! Keep calling them everyday, but all the time was left with nothing, just wait 24hrs, another 24hrs, 1hrs, 2hrs and nothing happens after that. Everytime different excuses.
Everytime the different person answer the phone, they keep saying me that they can't deal with my problem, but by reading other reviews the same name people solve the issues.
I'm am angry and disgusted with their behaviour and the stress they have caused me.
Although a friend mine had made a same reservation online through Alpharooms and got a phone call was immediately confirmed that same day. Then she had a problem to get hotel paperwork, was keep calling and chasing them and asking to do it straight away. Bare in mind that he booked later then me. But for me they still checking availability.
Alpharooms have caused me so much confusion and a great amount of stress.
If I will not reveive my confirmation and all paperwork, first thing on Monday Im going to a bank to report a fraud and scam, and I will deal with all the companies whats in my power to make a complain.
Booking holidays over 10 years and never had such a terrible experience and stress!
Please do your research before using Alpharooms for a Holiday... They are really helpful on booking and taking your money but then all customer care goes out the window.
We were out of pocket and owed money but they refuse to cooperate and all emails are ignored...
Please stay clear I dont want you to experience the same problems.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ALPHA ROOMS, I URGE YOU TO READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. After a sudden and unexpected event, we unfortunately had to cancel our holiday with Alpha Rooms. Wow was this a big mistake. I was quickly told that there was a 'no refund policy', despite the fact we were still in the middle of our direct debits. We had made it very clear that we were cancelling and that we no longer gave them permission to take money from our account. A week later the took the remaining balance of £178 from our account against our request. After this they ignored our emails and phone calls (last contact with them was nearly a month ago). We were left with no other option other than to raise an official complaint with ABTA who regulate Alpha Rooms.
After 11 working days I have finally got my refund from Alpharooms. Not the 3-5 working days as I was originally given by Alpharooms.

Hi would not buy a bus ticket f them Booked online They would contact me within 24hrs 3 days later nothing phone more than for 1 hour no booking made
Booked a holiday online with alpha rooms After submitting my card details their website displayed an error message that Oops something has gone wrong. I assumed my payment had not been processed. I went back on the website the next day and booked the holiday again but with a day later The website showed no confirmation so I called alpha rooms and was told they had taken payment for both holidays and could not refund the air fare on the first holiday They say they don't believe me about the message on their website and its not their fault. ABOSOLUTELEY DISGUSTING SERVICE
Don't book with alpha rooms they steel your money, then stone wall you from Indian call center. My advice please don't ever book with sham service. There is a reason they are a little cheaper
I've used alpha rooms on many occasions and my requests have always been forfiled.
I did not even have to give my voucher to reception as booking was all in place on hotels system.
Despite a good concept, the service and site let you down.
Booked a twin (as showing on site) but the hotel charged me extra to change from Double to twin. The requirements you choose may not get relayed to the hotel. Guess what their customer service took 28 days to get back and did not bother nor update their site nor refund.
I have booked multiple vacations each year. Staff at alpharooms are always friendly and solve any issues. Contact them via the my account section, email or telephone, the service is always fantastic. They beat any other travel booking sites or agents.
Wouldn't use anyone else for our holidays alpha rooms are the best the website is easy to use payment system is very easy nice friendly staff if you need to speak to them
WOW! Where do I start this company really is horrible. At the time of booking I asked certain questions policy for cancellations, I wasnt sure if i would be approved to go on the trip due to medical. The first initial rep who booked this for me told me no worries no charges will be charged just send an email. I have been asking alpharooms to go back and listen to the call. I have sent in medical records as I was asked I have been getting the run around for almost 4 weeks and my charged is still being charged for this booking. I have reached out to the hotel where I was staying they confirmed my booking was cancelled. The reps dont even have the respect to call at a decent hour we are obviously on a different time zone calling at 3/4AM is not acceptable. I have to argue with EACH REP to have them send me over to a manager and they just hang up on me.
I have been emailing a gentleman by the name of Sylvester he makes promises to call back within the hour and never does. This is a nightmare. I do not recommend this booking company what so ever the experience has just been horrific. NEVER AGAIN!
Very easy to use and it offers many filters for hotel reservation.
Way easier than other booking sites.
I tried booking our family holiday on other sites but they either did not give the option for calculating children fees; others did not offer filter for apartment booking or 5 people in one room alpharooms automatic finds the option and offers it.
Way way better than any other!

The telephonist i have spoken with at AlphaRooms was Benjamin. My score for his service is 10 out of 10. He was very helpful, answered all my questions and provided all information required. He also repeated back to me my details and booking information, just to make sure it was all correct.
I have been looking for accommodation in the Lloret de Mar area using a few different websites/search engines, including Trivago but AlphaRooms offered the best deal out of all of them. Definitely going to check their website next time i'm going on holiday!
