I bought a doll From American Girl website for my grandaughter for Christmas. I ordered the wrong doll. I ordered the correct one from Amazon and returned the wrong one to American Girl early January. It is mid March and I have not received my refund. I contacted them in February and they said they were still processing December returns. Seriously?
I ordered a doll, realized it was the wrong one. I immediately tried to cancel the order. It was after regular business hours so I had to call back in the morning. I also filled out a customer service request on line to cancel my order (which has gone unanswered). The next morning I called to find out it was to late to cancel. There is a one hour window. (which I tried to do) I asked for a tracking number to prove it shipped or a refund. I spoke to a supervisor who was going to try to cancel the order and call me back which never happened. It did not ship until 3 days later. They could have cancelled it. I am disappointed in American Girl Doll!
I'm so upset with American Girl! I ordered 5 outfits for Christmas for my young granddaughters on December 13th. I received 2 of the 5 on December 17th with the remaining 3 Saud to be delivered BY December 24th. NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER NOR ANY NOTIFICATIONS OF DELAY! Only to find out that 1 was backordered until FEBRUARY and the other 2 NOT EVEN SCHEDUALED YET! Imagine the disappointment when Hrandma had NOTHING FOR THEM COME CHRISTMAS MORNING! I have had similar experiences with American Girl orders getting delayed but this time NO NOTIFICATION AND NO PRESENRS FOR CHRISTMAS MORNING! 2 BROKEN HEARTED GIRLS 1 VERY BRIKEN HEARTED GRANDMA! Makes me sorry I ever ordered the Dolls to begin with but I started the "tradition" with my Daughter and sadly decided to continue with my Grandgirls! I'm truly sorry I did!
Order clothes for a doll in early December and was told they would arrive by December 21. No delivery occurred so I called this morning only to be told the items were on back order and would ship in March or May. I received no communication from them of the back order. I guarantee they have lost my business for good
I can't review the AG product, because I haven't received it -- two months later. This is after waiting the 6 weeks for a custom made product, which I expected to wait. I've been tracking the ship now via FEDEX and USPS - because well AG is cheap and didn't use FEDEX regular but the Econ version that goes via smartpost. My pkg was sent first week of Nov from TX, then it went to NM, then CA, then back to Ohio, where FEDEX notes - label was unreadable. Now back to TX, then AZ, where FEDEX notes - label is unreadable, new label created. And off we go to TX, then northern CA (I am in Southern CA), now back to AZ and now it is in Chino (since 11 Dec) - which is about 98 miles from me and says the first delivery date is 29 Dec. Yup -- that is two weeks from now. I could walk to Chino and back, pick up the AG package, before they could deliver it. This is NOT a FEDEX or USPS issue, rather AG could not print a correct shipping label from day 1 - so the transportation companies can't do their job and properly deliver. So -- no gift under the tree for my granddaughter because AG can not - in three months time get a package to a customer.
First timer. I ordered 2 items $80 with expedited shipping for $30! One was received correctly. The other was not correct. Email does not work in their system. Every reply is undeliverable. Called customer service. The item I wanted was no longer available, but no one reached out via email or phone to allow me to select a suitable replacement. (Ballet costume is not similar to a Harry Potter hat). I have been on the phone for 20 minutes now with customer service to receive an acceptable replacement and return of the unwanted item. Terrible.

I continue to be disappointed that AD continues to ignore the market of little Asian American girls. The one doll who perhaps looks biracial/part Asian is a smaller Wellie, Emerson. For 4 years I've been looking for a full sized AG doll who looks like my granddaughter. Yet the only diversity AG shows are African American and Arabian (Jasmine). American Girl Dolls, get with the program and use some diversity that resembles our American culture!
I ordered 400.00 worth of stuff for this coming Christmas for my grandkids. Their website said it was all in stock except for two things and they would be shipped in 2 weeks.
I've called and customer service is out of the country and you can't understand what they are talking about and all they do is give you the yes oh, yes answer and nothing is every done.they are reading a script and have NO ANSWERS! I have not received the points, the backordered stuff and there are no answers to my questions. This is called American GIRL and there isn't a thing AMERICAN ABOUT ANY OF THIS OVER PRICED STUFF! NEVER AGAIN! I ordered online

Their would not be a book if you use information that is actually guided to young girls. As most of the information is gender neutral you are making the issue of difference between sex even worse. By making girls think that most of the stuff in the book only happens to them your making it look like things can't happen to men. This was written by a female.
I was over the moon when I found Molly is back. I hadn't been looking for her, I saw a dress on Etsy that would fit AG dolls. (I was looking for miniature dollhouse furniture). We still had the desk and the yellow metal bunkbead, but no Molly. My new Molly is perfect! If I can only find the violin.
We ordered a doll for my grand daughter In Dec well before Christmas it is now January 10th still no doll. Customer service is terrible. Spoke with supervisor and all I received was excuses! This is ridiculous when you pay the high price and no gift. We have ordered several dolls in the past, this will be the last time.Poor customer service!
Trash company for pushing their agenda on innocent little girls. It is evil and demonic. Gender identity is not something a toy and book company should be pushing.

I am so proud to support a company that pomotes all parts of the human experience for girls. Body Image is a wonderful affirmation of the differences of everyone as well as give support to those that may be viewed as "different" when everyone should be valued for just being here. Thank you
I am proud of this company for showing support for all girls in this country and not just the self righteous families who want to spread hate and lies. It is a shame that so called Christians show very much the opposite of what their teachings say. I for one am proud of this company for showing love and acceptance of ALL GIRLS. I have bought American Dolls for my daughter and three grand daughters in the past. But, because of the new book/pamphlet written by or for American Doll Co., in regards to children's gender and other issues not suitable for minors (in my opinion). I won't purchase any American Doll products in the future. Please stick to manufacturering dolls and not expressing your opinions on what parents should or shouldn't tell their children. I feel your company will be hit hard by this unwanted wokery that you've written.
Why would a doll manufacturer print a book for your daughter to read about changing their gender? Do they really think the majority of the population wants their daughter reading that garbage? I don't care how great the dolls are I will never buy another one!
Bizarre that a doll company's staff'd try to impact innocent children with their own private sexual ideas or agenda- in kids' books. They're losing us all as customers, my associates and I. Children are just kids-should not subjected to personal bedroom campaigns. Guess if people want to run their own biz into the ground, sobeit. There are good companies out there to turn to.
Im a grandma always bought American dolls but no more! I hope you learn your lesson when you go out of business because you over stepped your your position of just a doll maker!
I just purchased the room for two trundle bed for my seven year old granddaughter. I thought the item was extremely over priced but that being said, having had a discount of 15 percent I decided against my better judgement to purchase it. I was charged 25 dollars for oversized package shipping. Upon receipt of the package, which by no means is what I would consider oversized, I was disappointed That it was packaged in a brown box with no American girl box inside,just the items. I put it together and am Very disappointed in the quality of the item. If I had known, it was so cheaply made, I would never have purchased it.
