Recently, I received a small sum of money (less than $100) via the Apple Cash app, which prompted a sudden and unexpected request for extensive personal information verification. This included my name, address, email, the last four digits of my social security number, and then also my full social security number. Understandably, given recent incidents of fraud on another credit card, I was skeptical about providing such sensitive information. Regrettably, my decision to test the system by entering "*******" led to me being locked out of my Apple Cash account.
Desperate to resolve the issue, I reached out to Apple Support earlier today, where I spoke with Richard and his supervisor, Alicia. To my disappointment, they informed me that I had been suspended from using Apple Pay, and there was no apparent way to lift this suspension. Furthermore, I learned that I couldn't create a new account without using my social security number, a requirement that Apple strictly enforces.
I've noticed a concerning decline in the overall quality of Apple's products and services. IPhones, which were once known for their reliability and innovation, appear to have lost their charm. I have a Iphone 14 pro max. It was good for couple of months but It started getting hot and slow just after 7,8 months.
I usually love Apple (have been a customer for 15+ years). I've made a few in-game purchases and Apple shut my account down. When I called to clear it up, the Senior Advisor (named Jennifer) told me my account is on hold for 24 hours. When I asked why, she said she couldn't tell me and to "just trust" her because she was a Senior Advisor. It was "Apple policy" not to share the information why. She refused to tell me any details. I'm so unhappy with this that I may never buy another Apple product again.

Why does everything need Apple ID? It just can't work with android. Like I can't even save game progress because of some dumb I cloud save thing. Also the prices are so high and they also slow down the old products to make you buy their new ones and they make it hard for you to change to android because all your pictures and stuff are on your Apple. Let me tell you how much I hate Apple. This company is a complete joke. Somebody hacked my Apple app information. Took little amounts but then big amounts like $34. I reported it to Apple, they said they couldn't help me or refund me. Which like what? You are a trillion dollar company and nobody can help me with that situation? So then I had to report these charges to the bank and get bank card. I went to play my music the next day and it was gone. I mean completely gone. So I contacted an agent, who was rude and unpleasant. She said my account was disabled due to me reporting it to the bank and that I shouldn't have reported to the bank. Which is outrageous! She fixed my account. Here we are two days later, and my music is gone again. I contacted Apple again, and now they are saying my account is permanently disabled! I mean from everything! Like are you kidding me!? The music is hooked up to my husbands account he shares it with me, it's not even hooked up to mine! I feel disrespected by Apple completely. I want to get rid of my phone. Spotify does not do this to their customers and I knew we shouldn't have gotten rid of it. I literally can't even download Spotify because they disabled everything. What is the point of me having an iPhone if I can't do these things!? Apple is a joke. Maybe they should actually step back and care about their customers situations. If this is fixed I am getting my lawyer involved. Somebody hacked my Apple account and basically Apple is like screw you as a customer.
A lot of people are getting No to warranty issues related to corrosion damage. It must be happening when it gets made in humid climates, how do you explain so many angry customers saying they didn't spill anything on the products that are almost new? If not days old?
This update does absolutely nothing for people who only use it as it was. This update is absolute trash. Location is trash, messaging is trash and maps are trash. It's so backwards I feel like I'm using an android. They really need to fix it now.
Called to fix a sync problem between the books on the mac and iphone, very simple. They told me after several calls I had to reset the phone. Several times I asked and follow their "experts" to back up all my phone so nothing could get lost.
After literally 15 calls what happens? Problem still there and all my photos and my chats are gone forever. After they assured nothing like that will happen.
Their response? We are so sorry we had a bad experience, sadly there's nothing we can do. I've been crying for hours, they made me lose money, work and lots of things emotionally important for me. Awful people.

She had a gift card that I was using (with her permission), which limited the choices I had; most new iPads were more expensive, and I opted to try the Apple website that offered refurbished iPads. Note that this was an official Apple website, not a third-party one.

I first tried to order an 8th-generation iPad in Space Gray, the color my daughter preferred. The item was shown as available on the website. The cost was acceptable given the amount of her gift card. The order appeared to go through, but a day later, I was advised that the order was canceled. I called Apple and was told that unfortunately the Space Gray was out of stock. Worse, Apple had put a "hold" on the amount of the purchase, and I had to wait for that to clear before I could use the full amount of the gift card again.
Forewarned by this experience, I first called Apple to check that the next color choice for this generation of iPad (silver) was in stock. I was told it was. Once the hold on the card cleared, I ordered the silver. Apple accepted the order, and I received an email saying the order was "in process" and was projected to be delivered on a certain date. That date passed without any progress on the order. Today, I received an email saying that THIS order was canceled. I called Apple again and was told, again, that the color was out of stock.
I have used Apple products for years and have been very happy with their design and functionality. However, this experience has undermined my confidence that Apple cares about its customers. This borders on improper consumer practices.
True, my daughter has not lost any money - this would be consumer fraud - but the time and effort I've spent trying to buy a product that appeared to be available (or was confirmed to be available) on Apple's website was completely wasted, and my daughter still does not have an iPad.

I have never had an issue with a computer before. Not ever. My previous MacBook Pro worked until the keyboard pads were literally worn through. Trade in and a new MacBook Pro. Only a year later it broke for no reason. The logic board just fried itself. No spills, no bangs, not using the computer for anything excessive. $700 repair later?
It kept crashing and less than a year later? The logic board fried itself again. No reason. It was literally working one day and broken the next, again.
Apple would like to replace the exact same part for another $700. This would be the third logic board in as many years. That is a total cost of $4,400 to have a computer than might be functional again for another year? What!?!
Worse? You can quickly find reviews indicating that multiple customers are having the same problem while Apple plays dumb.
If customers pay premium prices for computers, they should be getting a computer that actually works.
I feel like I got absolutely robbed by Apple. No one at Apple cares in the least that a premium computer is blowing out for absolutely no reason - all they seem to care about is getting access to my wallet.

9/12/23: i attempt several in-game purchases that do not go through (goods not received).
9/13/23: apple bills me for ALL attempted purchases for which i received nothing: my bank account gets overdrawn, i get overdraft fees and legitimate bill payments are returned
9/13/23: i make 2 refund requests through apple online service for the transactions that did not go through (note: several transactions before and after the incidents worked fine)
9/14/23:1 request still pending, the other denied (i filed for review right away)
Same day, i call customer service for more information before it is too late and final decisions are made. Here are the answers i got:
1- i dont know why your request was denied
2- i cannot make a decision on refunds
3- i am the highest rank of customer service: i cannot forward your call to someone who can answer or make decisions on your case. Company policies
4- follow the process and wait for decision. But final decision cannot be changed once done
5- i give you the link to the legal services so you can make a complaint (link sends me to read-only terms and services)
I went through 2 phone calls, 2 chats. Same story.
Reading the terms and conditions, i see a provision for technical issues preventing or delaying delibery of goods. In this situation, Apple offers to either deliver the goods or to refund the customer.
Still waiting on either of those …noone i talked to was able to mention this. All they asked is if i tried to resolve this with the vendor, of course I did.
Apple advertizes their apps and vendors, posts their products on their app store. They are proud of the safety and of deleting apps that do not meet standards. Yet they deny any responsibility for what those vendors do. Up to the customer to make their way between Apple terms and consitions, and foreign companies that dont even bother answering issues reported to them.
I am more than a decade long Apple customer. I like their products but the only 2 times i made a complaint, i have been treated like i am trying to steal money from them.

I transitioned to Apple from android 2018 and initially, I was extremely impressed. The platform was a lot less glitchy, and Siri was new innovative and worked. I have continued to invest in Mac products, including the air pot, but to be honest with you it really is pathetic how they have not advanced at all even now when I'm voice texting I'm having to go back and correct a lot of mistakes. This being a smart phone yet not being able to differentiate the type of except that is implied is pretty bad the AirPods have failed on me twice with a known malfunction and instead of giving me a new pair or compensating they just said well you're screwed buy a new pair, I really miss Steve Jobs
My Iphone 6 is old but it worked fine. Then Apple told me I needed to update my phone to the lates operating system. My phone quit working. Contacted Apple repeatedly and they said buy a new phone. Ok. So your saying YOU destroyed my phone with YOUR update and you want me to buy another one? I said. Why not restore the previous IOS that worked fine? They said "you need to buy a new phone." Oh. They did offer to find a courier that I COULD PAY to shipt THEM my phone so they could look at it. No guarantee. Just pay some money to send it here for a few weeks and we will see what we can do. I mean SERIOUSLY?!?! APPLE RUINED MY PHONE WITH THEIR UPDATE! AND NOW THEY WANT ME TO PAY?!? OR BUY ANOTHER?!? Buy any phone but an apple. They say they expect their phone owners to replace their phone every 5 years and they currently cost over $1,000 and they will force the phones to not work so you have no choice after around 8 years.
I ordered a gift card on line and received an email that said the card would be email to the recipient in one hour. 5 hours after the order was placed still no gift card so I contacted Apple and the representative did what they called a resend and again I got an email saying the card would be emailed to the recipient in an hour and now I am almost 13 hours since the card was ordering and Apple assured me that the card would be delivered by 7:30pm EST. Still no card. Apple.com sucks for gift cards and it is my recommendation you not buy apple gift cards. There are way better gift cards out there beside Apple.I will never buy again ever.
