The clock that I bought was a combination Birthday/Father's Day gift. It is so beautiful and my husband loves it! The music is so nice and clear and the moving parts (dancers, wheel, woodsman) are fun to watch. The painted faces on the dancers are also very well done.
I was afraid my clock would not make in time for my mother's birthday party. Bob was more than helpful and went to great lengths to make sure a got what I needed and got it on time. Thanks Bob!

I was very happy with my experience with Bavarian Clockworks. From the information available on the website to help choose a clock to the quality of the product received, I couldn't be more satisfied. The clock was a birthday gift for my wife. When there was a slight delay in the availability of the clock I ordered, I posted a message on the website and received a call within an hour with an offer to upgrade my clock for free to make sure it arrived in time for her birthday. She chose to wait for the original order and it arrived within a week. The clock looks and works great! I would recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a cuckoo clock.

The great way to revive how our ancestors kept track of the time in the old villages of Bavaria, Switzerland, Vienna and many more. Love everything about it. I no longer have to look at my Cartier watch, all I have to do is listen to how many times the bird sing to tell the time. Great feature is the automatic shut off at night. 8 to 8AM highly recommended.

We received a beautiful clock and it works well. I ordered the classic forest 25" but I received the Black Forest 25". The Black Forest clock is very nice and I like it but it isn't the one I ordered. Don't want to go through exchanging it so we are keeping it. There is one part on the right side that is a little loose, not sure if is supposed to be that way, seems to not affect how it works. So we are happy.
We absolutely love the clock - it is beautiful; but, we didn't expect the issues we are having. One of the dancing couples was off it's pedestal when we opened the box. We were able to put the figurine back on; however, we cannot get the time to set accurately. It looses minutes every hour and if we can set the hour correctly then the half hour is off by one minute or more. We have moved the pendulum up and down ever since we received the clock. Not worth the hassle and additional money to take to clock repair! It is disappointing to make a substantial purchase like this - to invest in our history, only to receive a clock that doesn't work properly. We also have to wind it several times a day. Didn't realize this as it said it was a 1 time a day wind. Guess it could have been worse -
Our old cuckoo clock has not worked for years. We finally decided to replace it as a Christmas gift for us both. We received it so fast and expertly packed securely. Wonderful experience. Will definitely shop there again.
