Incompetent and insulting
They delivered my food to the wrong house, and left it there without getting a signature, Then they changed the delivery address in my acct to try to cover it up. The people who received our food called bite squad to say they hadn't ordered food but bite squad still couldn't figure out what to do. For all this hassle, they gave us a $5 credit - completely insulting.

Cancelled Order

I submitted my order at 7:23pm and the estimated delivery time was 8:45 and the restaurant I ordered from closed at 9pm. I was tracking the order and it was on track but when it got close to the delivery time they sent me a message saying they cancelled the order because the restaurant was closing soon. If the estimated delivery was around 8:45 it should've already been picked up before the restaurant closed. I sent a message through chat support and no reaponse and no call either from the deliverer. The only positive is my money was refunded immediately but this is my first and last time using this app. Will be sticking to Doordash.

If you accidentally place an order because of app lag, they will not let you cancel the order and they will not refund your money. Their support team on chat is useless and their support phone number drops calls. This is one of my worst customer service experiences, hands down.

Bad suport & company

I managed to make some deliveries, but I noticed that sometimes you spend an hour or a little more to make just one delivery. It is not worth and besides the App to have a lot of information. But the worst thing is that already have 15 days I'm trying to speak with someone from BS to solve my problems: I haven't received any payments so far and the Apple Store has blocked the App and I can't access it anymore

Twice in the last month this app has taken my money and acted as if it's placed my order leaving me holding for over an hour then having to cancel. They won't return your money for three to five business days! On top of it, there's no way to get ahold of them via chat. It's garbage!

They charge 3 different fees in addition the driver tip, so they are more expensive than Doordash. Then my food was made incorrectly and I had no recourse. The only support option is a live chat through the app, and I never received any response through that.

Never received order

I ordered from Bite Squad tonight and I started wondering where the order was about 20 minutes after the intended arrival time. I checked online and it said that our order had been delivered. I contacted customer service and was told that the driver had waited at our delivery site for 10 minutes and left. We had left specific instructions to leave the food in our porch (the porch door was open) as we were going to be occupied at the time of delivery. I have no missed calls on my phone to show that the driver tried to contact us. We were told by customer service that we would not get a refund and that they would not deliver the food. They also said that they don't have control over a driver delivering food or not. I am incredibly disappointed in the service I received. I am frustrated that I cannot trust an order will be delivered and that I can't rely on BiteSquad to correct their mistakes. Don't use BiteSquad if you want to guarantee that you will receive your order!

It said around 76 mins so I know it was a long wait but its wayyyy past 76 mins. I should have to look up reviews before I order. It said it was delivered 20 mins ago but I haven't seen anyone or gotten a phone call. NO contact information and no live chat even though it said there was. It's a robot behind phones and chats. It's 9:18pm I guess I will be eating my dinner that was ordered at 6pm at 11pm.

I am appalled at the lack of customer service. Our food was never delivered and nothing was offered to remedy the issue. We ordered food through Bite Squad and the driver called us from the restaurant to ask what we wanted to do because they were out of milk. We told them we didn't need the drink, it was fine, the driver said okay and he was on his way (5 minutes away). 20 minutes later we got notification the order was delivered, it was never delivered. We contacted the online support chat, which is the only option for customer service (no phone number available). They told us they could not get ahold of the driver, we asked to talk to a manager and they "didn't answer" either. We were offered redelivery or a refund. We requested redelivery (which they would not expedite). We were they told, at no surprise, that the restaurant "didn't answer" so they could not redeliver. They then told us they were refunding the money and it would be in our account in 5 days. We ended up having to call the restaurant ourselves (who answered immediately) to order the food and pick it up ourselves. I have read so many bad reviews but thought I would try it out anyway. I would not recommend using Bite Squad to anyone. If zero stars was an option it would have been chosen.

Never again

Time after time Bite Squad is disappointing. About 25 % of the time they get the order 100 % correct. About 50 % of the time the order is almost correct but lacking the sauce or item that completes the order. 25 % of the time the order is completely messed up. So to be fair only 75 % of the time is the order wrong. Seems like a weird business model to be wrong 75 % of the time and expect to have repeat customers. When you call after receiving the wrong order ( you can't call) when you " live chat " with whoever they often blame you for the issue or offer a " 20 % discount " on future orders. Bite Squad " bites " as they say. Bunch of jokers.

I was charged $9.99 twice for some membership I never even signed up for and when I told them in live chat about what happened I was told it was not their problem and to dispute the charges with my bank. Wow what a way to do business in a time like this!

Someone hacked my account and BiteSquad wouldn't refund the $118 charge. They placed two orders which totaled $118. BiteSquad told me to file a police report.

Poor customer service! This ap has a vulnerability to being hacked. Look it up on Reddit: you will be hacked and people from different states can easily use your info to purchase. The fix per bite squad is a form answer saying they won't refund, you lose your account and to ask your bank for a refund. They literally brushed me off. They had an answer ready because this is common. Criminal. Don't do this! This is a bad company with shady business practices and weak software. You will lose your money:

Large order, only one entree received... refused to attempt to bring it again, would only give me a bite squad credit. Now we have people with no food, and so I guess they expect me to re-order it with the same restaurant? What a mess... Don't want a credit, won't use the app again...

Do not use Bite Squad to order food. My toddler accidentally ordered $130 worth of food. I immediately tried to cancel it but it told me it was already too late I waited in queue for 5-10 minutes to speak with a "live representative" and was told there was nothing they could do but i could dispute the charges with my bank. So ridiculous.

When I first started working for bite squad I did real good couldn't believe I can make 16 and $17 an hour delivering food. Was under the assumption corporate offices where in Minneapolis Minnesota and so was dispatch. It turns out these Minneapolis offices are just ghost offices management is in Hawaii and dispatch is in Mexico after Christmas all of a sudden the manager quit and they brought a new management then the pay went to hell I don't know how many customers I had that where unhappy and when they contacted somebody they said they acted like they didn't matter as a customer the employees didn't matter and that they just didn't care my final straw with bite squad was working 96 hours in 2 weeks and getting screwed out of $400 my last paycheck with them was supposed to be 248 96 they take all they should give me was $56 they use a company called daily pay to sign paychecks but dailypay is never right with actual income bite squad says don't believe daily pay their never right but yet dailypay is the one that pays me my paycheck stay away from this company as an employee Ana a consumer

Due to an error (the app glitched after updating and placed an old/previous order) from bitesquad, I was told by the representative over the phone that I would be getting a phone call to verify my order from now on to prevent another mishap. Apparently, that was a lie. They now say that I'm unable to place any orders unless I email pictures of my photo ID and credit card to verify that I'm not a "hacker." There's plenty of other safer ways to verify identity. I pity the poor fool who falls for this ploy. Working in fraud security, I know a thing or two. This is a great way to distribute your sensitive, personal information with no reassurance from data encryption or internal privacy. This company does not value loyal customers if they're willing to abuse security policies. They're not only putting their customers at risk, but also making themselves liable. Terrible practices and customer service. The quality of professionalism has significantly dropped. Delivery employees are usually unkempt and seriously sketchy. Avoid!

DONT WORK/ORDER FOOD

Customers, this is how they treat employees just so your aware. They say you make 11-15$, you drive across town every order. They don't keep you in one zone. Half my paycheck is my gas. Also I haven't been payed! I have been asking for help for weeks! Being refused help, going back and forth with HR (they take days/week to reply) Still no help. Even the manager Scottie is leaving me on read. It's all pathetic don't waste your time I thought I'd enjoy this job its a kill. Also, my app stated I had no scheduled shifts so there for I had no reason to show up for work, I got a verbal warning for missing work. After I explained and proved to Scottie with screenshots of my empty schedule of what had happend. He stated "It's just a verbal warning sign it". Do not work for this job! It's unorganized and pathetic, lack of good vibes. Most of the energy I got out of the managers was unhappy rude folks.
