Bite squad asking for personally identifiable information. So, my wife and I decided we wanted Mexican food for dinner tonight. I open the bite squad app to order food like we've done before a number of times in order to nice plates from a local Mexican restaurant. Shorttly thereafter I check on the status of my order and it says cancelled. There is an option to "re-order", so I do. As I'm looking at the app it says "canceled" again. So I choose to re-order again and it canceled once again. So I called the restaurant directly and they said they never got my order. So I start texting with bite squad and informed that they want a copy of my drivers license and my credit card in the form of a picture sent to them. What fool would do that? Where would those pictures and that information end up? I can't imagine a better case for financial insecurity than complying with this demand. In all of my years of using a credit card and ordering food or Amazon products etc. I've never had a single company ask for this. I am so mad at the thinly veiled apologies about "my security" and needing this to unlock my account or some other bull$#*!. Definitely the last time I ever use this company and I'm going to make sure and tell everyone I know to steer clear of them. I've repeatedly asked them to have a manager called me and they refuse. Go elsewhere for your food delivery.
My card was charged for a monthly subscription without me knowing, and not even under my own name. I didn't even find the monthly charge till 5 months in. It took several people and a ton a time till I was able to find that my card was being used for an account that I was not aware of. When I asked for a refund they told me they would "refund me the last months charge" without an ' so I assumed they were going to give me a full refund. Nope. Only refunded the last month's subscription. When I went to them again about it all they could say was that it was "company policy" even under these circumstances.
I order vote squad 4 times a week and at least 1 of those is consistently a wrong order or incorrect dish or missing food. On top of that they use moped drivers so the food is not being kept properly. Their customer service policy is to offer a $5 credit then they put you thru 1 to 2 hrs of loopholes and waiting until you just quit. Some of the council members need to take action against them.
They did not deserve this tip as food came cold and late. I'm so mad. Could have went to the store and back and gotten the food myself. How do they determine what the tip is?! Use Uber eats. I have asked Uber eats to come to Gainesville and it's in the works!
What a cluster. Didn't get credit after previous messup. Was told credit would automatically apply on next order. It didn't. Ordered again, no credit. Chat said they cancelled order & to re-order to get credit. After 20 mins app said the order was still in process. Checked to confirm order was cancelled as the LAST thing I want to pay you TWICE. You confirmed. Original order came with no credit. Call center said credit will apply on NEXT order. Keep it, & your service. Lose me as customer.

So very early in the morning, our office placed our order to deliver at 11:45 AM. Bit Squad canceled my order immediately saying the payment method has to be verified first. I sent in 3 pictures of driver's license and credit card but they didn't like the way those two cards were placed in the photos. After 3 times of reattempt to reorder and verifying for payment method, 2 hours have past and the new order cannot be delivered under 1 PM.
I contacted the restaurant at 12 to make sure they start cooking. So by the time Bite Squad finally approved the payment method they told me to keep waiting because the food is not possiblly have been cooked since they just placed the order.
So around 1:15 PM, everyone in the office is dying from starvation, we finally got a $300 worth of cold and soggy food that was packed at 12:30PM. No apologies, just bunch of pointing fingers at me, the restaurant, and each other on the customer service team.
I have to say this is the first and last time I will ever order from them. There is seriouse management and logistic issue with this company. Only so many times you are betray the trust so badly. I don't think this business will last a long time.
Please please do not order from the Bite Squad website unless you are ready to screw yourself and whoever is eating with you. Just call the restuarant and pick up yourself or call a Uber or Lyft driver or something.
Used bite squad for the first time over the weekend. Part of the delivered order (a main course) was missing but bite squad refused to take back the food they delivered and re-deliver the CORRECT order. They also refused to make a full refund.
Instead, after being screwed over by bite squad, i ate a cold dinner alone while my wife cooked herself something else. Could I have re-heated it? - sure i could... but the point of paying $71 to bite squad is you get a just prepared meal from your local restaurant, not warmed up food.
Is anyone else seeing a trend develop here from the reviews?
Just another two bit company that can't run a business further than it's nose. Customers are not easy to get in any business... and these fools just lost me and as many people as I can make go elsewhere unless they do the right thing.
Charged me even with my code took tip out they put $4 in anyway. Food wasn't even warm restaurant was 5 minutes away. Driver would not come into my building had to walk q block to get my food. Was missing sauces napkins and packets. Looked like fried was eaten. Never Again!
The driver was not the problem in this case it was the restaurant and bitesquads live chat members who o had to deal with to get a partial refund. Bite squad as compared to all other delivery platforms is the worst there locator is not accurate what so ever there arrival time constantly changes and it seems to be it is solely a company who cares about money and not the customer as they refused to refund my full order after waiting 45 min for oder to find out that the most expensive item( the only reason I used them) was not delivered with the order so they would refund only the missing item or punish the driver and make them redeliver the missing item. So needless to say one person did not get to eat and spent 4p dollars on some kids meals.
Worst customer service ever! The food I ordered (almost $14.00 worth) was horrible and ended up in the trash. I could not find any telephone number to call them and instead was forced to communicate via chat with what I presume was an overseas call center. They did not provide any assistance whatsoever only veiled apologizes, "so sorry you are not happy." Really? I guess if you have an unsatisfactory company you make sure there is no readily available customer service phone number so you don't have to deal with unhappy customers. I tried Bite Squad twice and both times was very unhappy with the food and customer service. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR FOOD DELIVERY YOU CALL ANY OF THEIR COMPETITORS.
Last three times I've used Bite Squad my food has been delivered over an hour late. Tonight I waited 2 hours and 30 mins to get Chinese food, REALLY? If I hadn't had a credit on my account from the last time they delivered late I wouldn't have used them.
I used them for the second and last time tonight. The first time, order was 40 minutes late and food was cold. Tonight the order was 50 minutes late with cold food. Both times they blamed the restaurant (different restaurants).
I usually love bitesquad, I have their membership. However, recently, their have been trash. I order them about 4 times a week. In the last two days after I have waited for over an hour, my orders have been canceled or messed up. I was delivered the wrong food, notified them immediately and had to wait an other hour for a resolution. Also they have no customer service you can call? You should give more than $5 for making people wait 2 hours for a resolution.
All of the people work for them are idiots from the chat people from the corporate people to the head people on the floor lord save us from this idiotic app and get us something better than this trash
This is third time I've ordered from a restaurant not 5 mins away. It has been almost an hour and a half and they said another 30 minutes. It's really sad.

They are awful! Order is never right and customer service will do nothing to help! I've lost 50 bucks and they offered me a 5 dollar credit. Oh and they can't make sure your order is correct before they leave for health reasons... hello, have the restaurant show you it's correct before you leave! Geez! Never ever use them!
We have been loyal customers to bitesquad since it's convenient and always try to give them another chance but they always seem to disappoint. Our food is always wrong every time and they don't provide any type of customer service... they only respond that there is nothing they can do about the items missing and it's ridiculous that we've wasted money for no reason. If they keep treating customers like crap I can only imagine how long their prized possession bite squad will last...
My guests and I waiting 30 minutes longer than the stated delivery time only to find that not one but FIVE side items at $2.49 each had been omitted. I first chatted, and then called to speak with a manager. All they can do for me is give me a $10 BS credit. I pointed out that I paid $12.45 for the missing items before tax and fees. So sorry, take $10 store credits or nothing. That is not incompetence, that is fraud and trickery. It's a good thing their initials are BS cause that's what this is: bull$#*! ripoff. I've ordered regularly from BS for years. That won't happen again.
I have been using Bite Squad for over three years now, off and on. They have their Unlimited Delivery Membership Program. It is good ONLY if one lives in the heart of the city.
I initially had MAJOR problems with several of my orders when I started using Bite Squad, but now, the DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE AWESOME! They are the reason for the TWO STARS!
I have experienced nothing but PROBLEMS EVERY TIME I use the chat. I receive conflicting information, they promise me a refund for X amount of months then change it. I set up a new email account with a BITE SQUAD AGENT with Unlimited Delivery Membership. Someone at Bite Squad, I do not know what happened, they were using the old email account that was closed. I wondered why I was not receiving receipts, messages, etc.
During chats, I guess I do not type fast enough. The chat ends before I can finish the what I am asking. Very unprofessional!
Please share this to get the word out. Bite squad takes the money from people who are ordering online prior to guaranteeing delivery with the restaurants. At time of delivery I find out they're not delivering because I message them. Not only did they take my money they state it could take 3-5 business days to return my money. This is Bite Squad-Arrowhead delivery. I will not be doing business with them.
I placed my order at 930 a.m. I'm sick and will not be making lunch and I find out at 1130 because I reach out to them. Poor customer service.
