When I needed my roof replaced I found BuildZoom. They gave me names of contractors that were already vetted. I selected one of those and I couldn't be happier with the work, the price and the time it took to get it done. Thank you BuildZoom. I will definitely use them again.
The site was helpful and helped identify great candidates for my project. I would strongly recommend them to a friend.
Contractors are IMPOSSIBLE to hire in Montana right now, plus I'd never hired one and didn't know the process. I figured "sign up for this and see a list." Instead, I signed up and almost immediately had an email from an actual person, asking for information about the project and personally finding a list of suitable contractors. (That list included one name only, not several, but as I mentioned, most MT contractors are working two years out now.) She followed up. Followed up again. When I hired the contractor, they offered to review the contract and pointed out where things were fuzzy.
He's been doing a really nice job, by the way. Slow, but that's pandemic for you: shortages of everything.
I was shocked by helpful BuildZoom was. I wouldn't have a new dining room and kitchen right now. I'd still be contemplating how to start.
My husband heard about a service known as BuildZoom who partners consumers with local contractors for large and small scale home remodel projects. He placed a call and was connected with *. * asked several questions about the project scope and indicated he would locate three contractors with excellent references in our area and call us back within a week. He also stated he would make contact with the three companies on our behalf to set up appointments for them to come to our home and discuss our design ideas.
As promised within a week, we received a call from * with three company names. He reviewed the history of the three companies as well as provided reference information. We were comfortable with * contacting all three companies to schedule home appointments.
We only received a call from one of the contractors. We never heard from the other two. In the meantime, we located two other contractors from other resources and felt comfortable with the number of companies we had in line for estimates on the large scale kitchen remodel project.
We met with the one contractor and were extremely impressed with how they listened to our design ideas and offered excellent recommendations to meet our project goals. The next step was to select cabinets and countertop so a bid could be completed and presented to us. We did make our selections.
* called us shortly after the initial contractor visit and asked how we felt about the interaction. We expressed how pleased we were with the contractor as well as the BuildZoom service. Shortly after this communication, all contact with the contractor ceased. We attempted multiple times via phone, emails and texts to receive a status on our remodel project. We also made attempts to contact * and received no responses from him or another representative of the organization.
We have no indication as to where the disconnect occurred and we are extremely disheartened by the lack of communication from *. We can't imagine what type of organization of this nature would drop the ball like BuildZoom and * did.
We would never recommend BuildZoom.

Last month I googled my company's name. Instead of my website popping up like it has for the last ten years, the top of the search was dominated by the text of a fraudulent, negative generic one-star review of my company. This was window for the BuildZoom website. The fraudulent review was purportedly written by someone named "Shanelle" who I've never met, and who our company has never worked for. The review didn't mention any specific work, or the name of anyone in my company, nor a time frame or general location. It was just an insulting series of generic negative comments. I have never signed up for BuildZoom nor gave them permission to collect and assemble their "profile" of my business. This profile has a partial list of building permits that I have pulled in the last 23 years with personal information of my clients, including addresses and job costs. Their site also had inaccurate info regarding my license, location etc. They seem to be compiling this personal and business info from public records and then assigning a "score" based on their partial/inaccurate findings. They admitted that they allow anyone to post a review on their site without any specific verification and that, in order to have it removed, I need to sign up for their site and complete my "profile" (which I did) then they will accept a written explanation from me about why the review is fraudulent. I have no idea how long this false review has been visible to the public. Every time I click on it, the date of the review changes, spanning the last 7 years. Eventually they removed the fake review from their website. My "profile" says there are no reviews as of last week. However, when you Google the name of my business, the text of the fraudulent negative review still appears at the top of the google search with its one-star graphic. On a link to the BuildZoom website. This fake review has done damage to my business and BuildZoom does not seem interested in fixing the damage that they are responsible for. They also refuse to remove my company's name, listing and "profile" from their website.
Hi John, please email me at customersupport@buildzoom.com I would like to revisit this issue to see if there is anything further that can be done. Thank you.
H Contractors are the company I chose to handle this project. They came in with a reasonable estimate and have stuck within that amount. The work has been fantastic and so have been the follow up each step of the project. Highly recommend this contractor.
Marcos (owner Vista Mar Builders) was hands on, him and his crew were professional and courteous. After the project job was done he reached out to make sure me and my wife were happy with the work. I would recommend his company to anyone planning a remodel big or small.
I had tried to get good contractors to come out. Most wouldn't show up, half never called back. When I just about gave up I found Buildzoom. Buildzoom helped me out and I'm forever grateful for this service. I was able to pick out of three contracting companies that actually wanted to do business and the one I went ahead with knocked it out of the park. Couldn't be happier and will tell my coworkers and friends about it.

Answer: Hello William! It looks like there are a few Dalinghaus construction companies across the United States. What state and city were you looking to find Dalinghaus construction's score?
Answer: Not True...stay away from them. Check out the lawsuits and complaints about BZ. Sounds like a scam.
