Believe it or not! Spectrum has not processed my Internet Cancelation Refund Yet! They have been lying - indicating that the Credit was Authorized and refund was being process (they indicated that a check will be mailed within 4 to 6 Weeks) (2 weeks late and they will not confirm when it will be processed) Instead of processing my Refund, they generated an additional invoice for the Internet Equipment returned 2 weeks ago (now in their pocession) - I Had to visit one of their locations recently to provide a copy of the UPS Equipment Return Receipt - indicating that the Equipment had been returned 2 1/2 Weeks ago (they logged in my complaint and assigned it a Case # ******* - indicating that one of their representatives saw and validated the equipment receipt 2 days ago. And Today the Clowns generated an Invoice for the cost of the "Unreturned (nternet) Equipment in their possession". Rating is - 1 Star -
Been a customer since 2014 Today went to our local spectrum store to try and the phone service and down grade some services on my account. Was told that I had to contact the retention department and gave me their number. Was on hold for 30 minutes. The lady was real nice but said she could only change my plan not cancel phone. She transferred me to the cancellation dept. after another 30 min on hold I hung up, went on line and got cancellation dept. phone number. After being on hold 10 min was told he could not help me had to go back to the people that told me they could not help. And wait time would be 27-30 minutes. Asked to speak to a supervisor was told that I would still have to be transferred back to the department that had 27-30 minute hold time it has been 20 min still waitin to cancel phone service. Considering canceling all of the services.
My bill just went up $6.92 again. Their service is terrible. If you tell them your cable box goes out several times a day, sound goes out, picture freezes, they willl tell you if they come out and find nothing wrong at the time, you will be charged a service fee even though you pay monthly for them to handle all problems. They will never tell you upfront why your bill goes up and you will have nothing to show for the increase except horrible service.
Charter is probably one of the most incompetent and shady organizations on the planet. They don't know what they're doing and they lie to you constantly

If your not moving get another provider use sling, hulu roku sticks, amazon fire sticks whatever you need or maybe we should all go back to a digital antenna...
Horrible... I had much pixeling lines, bought new tv's and surger protectors and phones and turns out it was their bad cables once fixed all works fine now they are raising their rates, someone should file a class action suit against TW spectrum and charter... wait till you get your letter frrom Sam Araji VP of billing from Charter the month before they raise your rate and bump it up from the 29.99 bundle to? I went from $141 per month with 11 mos of rotten service, when their cables lines were replaced I have had 1 month of good service now they raised me or they call it a bump up from your promotional price to $179/mo... CUSTOMERS BEWARE YOU ARE NOT GETTING A PROMOTIONAL PRICE AND THEY WILL RAISED IT AND THEY WILL NOT RETAIN YOU IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE...
THEY WILL MAKE YOU GET RID OF EQUIPMENT BEFORE LOWERING YOUR PRICE... THEY ARE SO CROOKED... STAY AWAY...
One of the best media company I've ever experienced. No contract, no cheap tricks to get money out of your pocket. Spectrum internet is the fastest and most reliable internet.
TERRIBLE, BROKEN SIGNALS Daily with Internet, SLOW Speed while PAYING for the FASTEST, BAD Cable Service, DVR CONSTANTLY MESSES UP RECORDINGS, OR DOESNT RECORD AT ALL, BUT SAYS IT DID, AND TO BOOT, THEYRE OVERPRICED!
Ive had techs out NO LESS than 5 Times, and NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED.

Frequent internet outages and slow, customer service is nonexistent. Doesn't get any worse than this.
Charter Spectrum is the only game in the town where I live. But if you live in a place where you have a choice, dont choose Charter Spectrum.
Here are the four most salient reasons:
1. In the list of movies in the ON DEMAND Section, the movies are not all in alphabetical order! Can you imagine a company doing business this way? Bottom line? It doesnt hire people who know the alphabet.
2. I have clicked on a movie on the various cable channels and discovered, to my dismay, that the movie playing was not the one listed at the bottom of the screen! In other words, the movie was mislabeled. I find this a double insult that this company hires people who misfile movies. Every time a customer discovers something like this and reports it, they should be given free cable services for life.
3. The majority of movies are B-rated or less, and should not be in the repertoire. And, the violent movies outrank the non-violent 8 to 3.
4. When a movie is rolling credits and I want to see who was in the cast, Charter Spectrum usually interrupts with a commercial for another program! REALLY!? What ever happened to letting the viewer have the complete pleasure of a movie? And whats so important about 30 seconds that this company wont let a good movie roll its credits? Shame on you Charter Spectrum.
For what you pay for cable, demand better service. If you cant get it from Charter Spectrum, then find a better company. At least a company that understands the price of doing good business.
I HAD MY CLEAN PC DO THE WORK ON MY PC. IM PAYING $120.00 FOR THE WORK THEY DID. I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH IT, NO CHANGE TO IT. I SHOULD HAVE JUST TOOK IT TO A PLASE WHERE I COULD HAVE A TECH. AROUND HERE LOOK AT IT. I LOST ON THIS ONE..
Not customer oriented at all. They are constantly thinking up ways to make you spend more money for the same or less service. Not a good company to deal with either in person, over the phone or via email. Very frustrating. Still have not been able to get to their TV lineup that lists the channel numbers as well as the channel name along with the times of programs.
Customer service at the local office is dreadful. Was so frustrated I went home and called their 800 number. I would give that a three rating... tried unsuccessfully to upgrade my service twice but did resolve my issue. Just pathetic.
