We were on automatic dog food delivery from Chewy. We had just received a two case delivery of prescription dog food when our 14+ year old Shellie had to be put down (she showed us it was time). I called Chewy to cancel our automatic food delivery and was asked if we had any left to which I replied two cases. After being very nice the woman on the phone said she would credit our account ($125) and for me to donate the food. Our Humane Society was very appreciative. Very classy organization.
I have been a customer of Chewy for years and have multiple autoships with them. They deliver something to my home at least once a week. That is, when they actually have it in stock, which seems less likely lately. But this week they decided, apparently because of some rule of their "automated system", to cancel my order for no reason and then "REQUIRED" me to call them on the phone and give then a bunch of personal information to verify that I was allowed to place an order on my own account. For a box of cat treats! Who do they think they are? And this was NOT a phishing scam, I verified that it was actually them before I called them back. So now, Chewy's AI decides who can buy pet food. If this nonsense continues I will cancel all of my orders with them, because I do not appreciate having to ask permission of their AI system to get supplies for my pets. There are other pet supply options available to me.
Not only does their easy auto ship option with simple adjustments make it so easy to keep up with prescriptions and food, this company goes above and beyond. They sent birthday cards to your pet and a Christmas card every year. I also randomly got sent a personalized hand drawn portrait of my pet for national dog month—it literally made me cry. I will forever be a Chewy customer!
I have been using Chewy for pets and my dogs RX. There had been some hiccups along the way and they really try to make it right. It really seems genuine. They sent me a beautiful picture of one of my dogs for national dog month. Rocked it! Thank you!

I got a particular brand dog food for a bully having some skin problems. Chewy been great fed ex not so much. It's been Sitting 80 miles away in a fed ex location for goin on day 3 I called at 7 this morning they gave me a few options I appreciate that that good customer service hopefully this shipment fed ex will take care of business. Chewy, in my opinion, for some reason unknownst to me, has suffered a horrible downslide. In my opinion, Chewy was once an amicable, thriving company, but now has seemed to have suffered a horrible setback. Their customer service is poor. Their canned food arrives badly damaged, their inventory is low, and many needed or wanted items can not even be found on the Chewy app, sending the consumer to other online pet apps and / or e-commerce apps. I hope Chewy comes around eventually because they were a nice convenient way to order pet items, but for now, my local pet store is where I choose to shop for my pets needs.
These company is and has been going waaaaaay down hill since covid hit. Everyone else has been back to the norm but NOT CHEWY! I have 2 different accounts, neither of which could I login. My password is and has been saved in my cell and has NOT changed, yet no login and NO PASSWORD RESET email EVER received on EITHER! Don't want our business, so be it! Petsmart for now on it is!
I love their auto-renewal discounts. I love their auto-renewal online management. I love their customer service. But, what's crazy is this: my dog just passed away. I called Chewy to cancel my auto-renewals and they sent me condolence flowers! How nice is that?
I have really been happy with chewy up till now I have to get a prescription medication for my cat and it has been super smooth sailing.
Then today I go to log into order his cat food and I get this block up. I'm hoping I can send you a screenshot, basically saying they want to track me and what I'm doing so they can provide me better advertising. I have block tracking on my phone. I don't have an issue with that if I could ask out of it and continue to the site place my order. But it will not allow me to do so so you have 100% lost all my business now this is absolutely ridiculous that I cannot order product simply because I do not want you to track my activities online.!
I encourage all people to check their phone tracking turn it off and not allow websites to simply truck you because they want to! Disappointed beyond!

I started using chewie a few months ago for my pups food on auto ship witch was supper great! Unfortunately my pup passed away I reached out to cancel the reoccurring order. They canceled it for me sent me an email saying sorry for your loss and when I got home from work the next day, they had reached out to a local flower shop and sent me a bouquet. Lossing a pup is always hard but it felt so personal of them to go that extra mile for me. If I could give them more stars I would!
Last week my Harley got her wings for for heaven. I called chewy the day she passed because her auto ship came the same day. I spoke to James at customer service and he said they would refund the money but to donate the food. His thoughtfulness was unbelievable and his concern and beautiful words just made me cry in a good way. James you are an amazing and wonderful gentleman. Today 1 week a day later a dozen roses came from Jim and chewy. Words cannot express how grateful I am. Thank you James again and I hope chewy knows what a wonderful man you are.

I recently had to euphanize my beloved pet, Jax. It was very difficult and I am still griefing. But to say that Chewy was just awesome to me was an understatement. They provided par excellent service and support to me as a grieving pet owner. Thank you, Chewy! When and/or if I decide to have another pet, I would not hesitate to purchase and utilize your services. Your kindness and thoughtfulness has been the world to us. I would refer you to anyone who owns a pet; they would not be disappointed.
Ordered heart worm prevention meds for my dog with a prescription from my vet; after waiting 3 weeks I called them for a status and was told that my order was on hold because I chose two different brands of medication. I had a prescription for a 12m supply of sentinel but decided I wanted a 6m supply of sentinel and a 6m supply of Tri-heart to save a little money not thinking it would be a big deal but apparently it was. Anyway, even though I tell my vet what brand I want, I don't have a problem with Chewy not filling the prescription as is but they could have contacted me for a quicker resolution. I just told them to give me a 6m supply of sentinel, refund me the difference and get the meds to me without further delay. Better communication would have delivered the meds sooner.
Chewy is a wonderful company my dog teddy was 18 years old he died June 22 2023 today I received flowers from Chewy very nice to recognize how much we love our pets.
My dog is on prescription medicine. I was running out and inadvertently placed my order late. Once placed, I called Chewy and discussed my dilemma. Coordinating with my vet and Chewy, they got my order out in 1 day! My dog never missed a dose! Great service! I'm totally happy! :)

I would not suggest Chewy pharmacy if your pet is sick. Prior my order I called and I was told it will take 2~3days after the vet confirmation, its been a week and the order is not even in transit. I wasted my time calling them numerous times and everyone said different thing. The supervisor promised overnight delivery, and its been already over 2 days and it is still not even in transit. My pet has been out of med and all because I thought Chewy pharmacy was reliable. I will never ever shop here. Extremely low quality service.
Answer: No trouble at all. They have the best customer service/replacement/refund practices I've ever encountered. By all means, contact them again if you're having an issue.
Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
