When I placed my order it stated that the diamond in the ring was a "simulated diamond" (a 2 carat emerald cut). Because of this I ordered a real diamond from another vendor to replace the "simulated diamond". When the ring showed up it was actually a real "lab created diamond" with a certificate which is obviously much different than cubic zirconia, or the like. So I basically have two "real" diamonds now. Of course, I spent much more by purchasing an extra diamond (even though the new one is much better quality) so I was a somewhat disappointed.
