Shipping is so slow!

You are better off buying on amazon.com They know how to ship in a timely manner. I will not be shopping at the disney store online ever again.

When asking a question to the not so lovely Maria she avoided the answer when she's again asked still avoided the answer. .What the hell was that about very rude employee she didn't smile or have a pleasant personality to be working in such a store.

Frustrating!

I placed an order in early dec. It took me an hour and a half to order on the phone. I had a redemptiom card with 450.00 dollars on it but they wanted a back up card in case the redemption cars had no money on it. I got they order fine but i noticed they charged my credit card for everything. Chase has verified the money on the card but i have made SIX PHONE CALLS AND I CANNOT GET THEM TO TAKE IT OFF THE CREDIT CARD ON TO MY REDEMPTION CARD. I am beyond frustrated and calling the bbb next. I have talked to chase 3 times who said it is an easy fix but the last person i talked to at disney store was very rude. Wouldnt call me back. And the sixth call i made said it would be 6 bus days. I am not very hopeful and it is coming due on my credit card so not only will i have to pay for the order i will have to pay interest! I placed an order on 12/11 for several Christmas gifts for my children and nieces. I ordered 13 items and received 6 of them before Christmas. Oddly, I received the personalized items and not the non-personalized ones. I attempted to track my order, however because it was a split shipment it only showed me the shipped items. I tried to view my purchases on the Disneystore.com website and it said I didn't have any? When I sent the customer service a message (this was after Christmas and AFTER I had to make additional gift purchases because I didn't receive the ones ordered before Christmas) they told me it was already shipped and I should receive today (Tuesday, December 27). I do not need these items anymore. I didn't get them in the appropriate time and had to spend MORE money to buy alternative gifts. I should have read the online reviews. I hope others will too. I will NOT be buying from Disney again.

I placed a order on December 14. For my two nieces and two nephews. I called almost everyday to check on the status. And every time I was told I would have by Christmas. Finally on December 19, one of the representative checked for me and said it was not shipped but it would ship the next day. I asked to changed the shipping but I was told I couldn't, it was to late but not to worry I would have by Christmas. I received tracking the next day with two emails that said they were out if two of the items. I said ok, at least I would have rest. But again I called on Thursday and Friday because I had tracking but it showed it never arrived at the post office. After sending over a hour on hold last night. Was still told I would get the order today, that the post office is slow on updating their website. Well the tracking was updated doing the night that the package was just received at the post office and it would arrive December 29. Six days after they had promised delivery. Called again this morning, was told they are sorry and that I can return the items once they were received. Are you kidding me! I received they are backed up but be honest. I would have. Gone out and bought other items instead of waiting all week.

I would order again

I only stumbled on this site because I was searching for an answer to how long it takes disney to ship an order. I was concerned that it was taking so long (day 3 and still waiting) but based on another review here it takes 7-9 days.
I was shocked to see all horror stories! But I had already placed an order so I thought oh well I hope this ends happily. I didn't have a problem with a past order either so I was hopeful.
I ordered 2 jewelry pieces on 12/12, paid with a gift card and disney credit card and I waited excitedly for a shipping update. On 12/17 I got the shipping confirmation (yay! I thought, this is going so smoothly). I was able to track my order as it was delivered. When it was delivered, the items were correct, packed securely and arrived safely.
My experience with Disney was good although other reviews have scared me thoroughly

I ordered an ornament on 12/7. After 2 weeks, I called 3 separate times and was told that my order had not been processed and they would change my shipping to 2 days to insure it would arrive by Christmas. All three "cast members" promised that my order would be delivered on time. Today I received an email telling me that they no longer had my item and it would not be sent. I called the local Disney store to try to find an Minnie ornament and they told me that their phone had been ringing all day with similar stories. So disappointing that a large company like Disney is ruining many Christmas'. Thanks for being dishonest on your website and via your customer service.

I placed an order for a stock item on December 12, well before their standard delivery for holidays cutoff of December 16, today I receive an e-mail that my order will now ship on December 27 3 via 3 day select. Clearly based on all the other bad reviews they do not know how to fulfill orders, and the company is apparently HQ in Japan, they should know better, sounds like this business may not be wholly owned by the Walt Disney Company.

I ordered 5 items online, total order after taxes and $9.95 just for shipping came to $68.76. I had a $75 Disney rewards card I used. They also needed a credit card Just in Case total was over card amount! I received an E-mail several days later stating order was going to be delivered a week late due to snow in Minnesota, Fine! So yes, my order was received on the date stated, also received and E-mail stating it was delivered. Items received, But when I looked at my bank statement my card was charged $33.87, WHAT? I tried to contact them via Their E-mail, not able to, then called, called, called! Forever on hold! I go to bank, he calls and finally gets a Customer Service Rep, what a joke. I was told it'd take 2 business days to fix, I ask for her name and rep# but she would Only give her First name and Nothing else, said she's sending me an E-mail regarding this issue. Never received an E-mai, Return phone call, OR CREDIT BACK TO MY ACCT! So After my bank rep looked online at Disney Store Reviews he said None were good, Oh My! I wish I would have checked reviews prior to ordering! But this Is Disney, right? Suppose to be Happy Everything? NO, Nothing happy about FRAUD! I have to Cancel my card just in case they try to charge it again, like several other people stated happened to them in their reviews and since it is Christmas shopping season this is More than an Inconvenience! I Will Be Persuing this issue until the Fraudulent amount I was charged is Returned to my acct, Not a credit at their store, not a gift card, the Money they took out of my acct Returned! I Highly Recommend NOT ORDERING THROUGH DISNEY'S ONLINE STORE! You Will be sorry if you do.

I ordered a Christmas gift on the 2nd of December. I received an email saying that it had shipped, with a tracking number from UPS. On the 10th, I started calling them because I had not received it. I checked with UPS and the tracking number was invalid. I call Disney and was told they would try to locate the tracking number. Finally today, after calling several more times and being told the same thing, I tried again. This time I was told that the package had been shipped FedEx, but they did not have a number. Not once did they offer to replace the item, since it was obviously lost. I have very frustrated. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP WITH DISNEY!

I ordered SEVERAL items from the disneystore.com on 11/26/2016. After 11 business days I reached out to them asking for an update on my order (considering they say they will notify me in 24 hours if something is not available and allow 9-11 business days for delivery). The CSR said my order was still processing and she will call me back in 1-2 business days. Two and a half business days pass and no response from them as promised. I call them again on business day 13. The CSR I spoke with had no idea why "it's still processing". Today, on business day 14, I get an email saying three of my seven items are no longer available. I tried calling corporate and gave me the same customer service number to call. So, now, 10 days away from Christmas, I do not have what I need and cannot get it online. Disney claims to be so concerned about making everything "magical". How about living up to your end of the bargain?

I ordered gifts for my family on 29th November - with plenty of time to go before Xmas.
I received a confirmation of order on 29th Nov - with a delivery date stated as 9th December.
On 6th December - I received a notification email to advise delivery may be delayed due to the Black Friday sales. On 8th December, I received another email - advising that one of the items ordered was no longer available, but all remaining items would be delivered and a refund made on this one item.
I spoke to Disney Store today 14/11- Jack, Jade & Sami... which were less than helpful, very dismissive and also each individual gave different information. I was advised payment hadn't gone through on the 7th December, and then advised it had gone through on the 29th November (when i ordered) and then advised there was an accounting issue - and that the issue had been escalated with them.

At no point could I speak to a supervisor or manager. (they were all busy)

I have now received an email to advise that my full order has been cancelled due to a 'technical issue' and a full refund will be processed in a week but supposedly my payment was not authorized!
This is absolutely disgraceful - with Xmas just around the corner.

For such a massive international company i expect a lot more

Disney store charged twice for one gift. I called in and they said it's for "security reasons." I paid over 50 bucks for my purchase and they charged me twice. Try your hardest to not buy from here. That's way too expensive and ridiculous for a security reason.

I had 3 items in my "shopping cart" on disney.com and when I went to buy the items, they were no longer there - all 3 gone! It would be nice if they let you know when items are being deleted...

The worst!

What a horrible company! I ordered a stupid doll back in October. It arrived about a week later and it was broken. So, I used their return sticker and did everything correctly and sent it back to them via UPS - the very same day I received it. When I hadn't heard anything about either a refund or an exchange, I checked the tracking number that I had received (which must have come off their return sticker as it turns out). Problem was, it was the same tracking number that had delivered the broken thing to my house. I emailed the company, called them and finally was told they would send a new package out - express and I should receive it within five days. Ten days later I'm still waiting. I'm going to have to call them again which infuriates me. I'm spending all this time trying to get a refund or an exchange from their defective merchandise. I will never order anything Disney related again.

1. They mixed up my order.
2. Tried to blame me and charge me for the part of the order they mixed up and told me I could just return it once I got it.
3. Said it was fixed and they would give me a $20 gift card to make up for it.
4. Then sent me an email saying I hadn't paid for the messed up part of the order and they couldn't ship my order with the gift card until I paid the balance.
5. Told me I would just need to call back the next day to confirm whether or not the internal email regarding the fact that I never received the part of the order they wanted to charge me for or they would not be able to ship out the order I made with the gift card.
6. All of this meant 3+ hours of my time wasted on the phone talking with 5 different people and now I'll need to talk again tomorrow.

Something needs to be done. This was terrible.

I ordered three $500 Gift Cards online from the Disney Store on November 4,2016. I requested 'Express Shipping' on all three items. They were shipped on the same day, but only one arrived on time. I was forced to call Guest Services approximately five times in search of the remaining 2 gift cards. One of the remaining cards showed up 4 days late while the last card has still not arrived at my house. I had to call UPS to initiate an investigation today, Nov 16th, in an attempt to locate the last undelivered card. Disney Store Guest Services has repeatedly ignored my requests for assistance over these past 3 days. I'm very disappointed as these cards are Christmas gifts to be used with my family's intent to travel from Kansas City to Anaheim, CA to go to Disneyworld for 5 days. I DO NOT plan order again from this company again. Please take my advice and do the same.

I recently ordered online at the Disney online store. The package came in a timely manor with only one minor problem, it was missing half of the items! When contacting the Guest Services I was informed that the items I was missing could not be replaced, but they would give me a $15 online gift card to "fix" the problem. That's great! EXCEPT the item I bought was $15 BEFORE Tax, Personalization, and S&H. When I called to get answers I was told they would waive the S&H and give me the same deal on personalization so I would not have to repay all of that. GREAT! I can even use that online store credit! Except I don't have the number to the card as it has yet to come in my inbox. I ask if I can call again when I have the card number and am told "The next agent you get might not give you the same thing."... I'm sorry, what? I PAID for this once already, Why should I have to pay again!? I will not shop here again.
