Holy cow. I returned an item and couldn't find anything I wanted so I asked for my money back. No, they won't give my money back unless I buy something and, by the way, your credit expires. That's right. YOUR money expires after a period of time and they just keep it. This may be the most unethical garbage I've dealt with in a long time. Absolutely beware purchasing anything from these clowns.
I bought a backpack almost 3 months ago and never received my package!
They said that was delivered, unfortunately not for me!
The customer service keeps saying my ticket is under investigation and at the end I spent my money and never got the product! Never again!
Returned set of packing cubes few months ago, I was charged to return item, a re-stocking fee and a credit to use for future purchase. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, traveling was not possible this summer subsequently I did not purchase travel items. I was not informed my credit amount would expire after so many months, when I called to request a extended date to use this credit I was told NO they would not do this. This is basically stealing a customer's money as I received nothing for returning the cubes. Will not order from this company again.
The customer service is so pathetic. First, upon my return, they did not refund my money difference and instead gave a 1 year credit. After my credit got expired, I called them 3 days later, only to learn that they will not do anything, no grace whatsoever to help or accommodate my case.
Stay away from Ebags! I ordered a men's clutch, and did not like it. It took three emails and a full week to get a return authorization. On top of that they are charging $9.99 for return postage. Couple that with the original shipping, and it costs almost $20.00 to look at a product!
Placed an order on 8/25/2020 for a luggage set, a 3 piece packing cube set and a toiletry bag. The next day I received an email the luggage was unavailable. I went onto the website to see what colors were available and the color I ordered was available. Thinking something is up I called ebags and spoke to a young man explained the email and told him the set appears to be available what is going on he puts me on hold and comes back and said it must be a mistake the luggage is available and will place the order again for me BUT THE PRICE IS 60.00 more the next day. I explained I wanted the price adjusted the price I paid the day before. He told me I would have to pay that days price and he would put in for a refund. Reluctantly I did so, so I could get the luggage shipped. Several days later I receive the luggage but no packing cubes or toiletry bag. I call ebags again they tell me they are unsure why I have not received the other 2 items they will send a message to the warehouse and put out a ticket on the missing items and someone will be in tough within 48 hours. More than 48 hours pass no response I call again they put in another ticket and send another message to the warehouse. I ask that they put a note on the ticket that if the color is not available I will take another color as substitution. No response to this call. I call again inquire about reordering the items I'm told not to do that until they hear from the warehouse. I finally receive a email the items are no longer available. I call to inquire about getting the packing cubes in another color at the same price I ordered them I am told "There policy is it would have to be the same item in the same color to price match it" A policy which by the way I can not find anywhere on the website. I send an email and get a response if I want to reorder the items they will price match it but when I call to do that they won't match the price. This has been nothing short of a nightmare and the worst part is they used to be a great company to deal with. I will now take my business elsewhere and so should everyone else if they don't value their customers.
I've ordered from ebags for years. Never had a problem until recently, but now will NEVER place an order from ebags again. Long story short: I think ebags is about to go bankrupt and has resorted to scamming their customers to survive. Perhaps an unfortunate victim of Covid-19, but that doesn't mean they have a right to steal out of their customers wallets.
No legitimate e-retailer would tell you their certificate codes are not working for several days! They told me to place an order with my credit card and then call back to request a refund after they could check my return store credit balance with their "home office." What kind of sense does that make? They could just check right away and help me place the order on the phone - but they said they couldn't do that either.
The selection of goods continues to decrease, the price discounts continue to increase, they have removed their customer service telephone number form the ebags website, and they now say they return store credit and gift certificates are no longer working. Too many red flags. Run, don't walk away from this garbage scamming!
I would give negative stars if I could. I purchased a 3 piece luggage set on sale, next day I get an email saying it's out of stock. That same day I got an email advertising same set for a higher price! Ofcourse no response to my email and they don't answer the phone.
How is this company still in business? Where is the BBB and FTC?
Do not purchase from this gretailer, you will only be disappointed. There is NO WAY to cancel an order a few mins/ hours after placing it. It goes into "processing" and sits there for 3 days. The delivery date shown on the order is an "estimate". That's when they actually ship it. Not deliver it. Huhh?
Returns are expensive - you pay for shipping and a return/restocking fee.

Bought some luggage online. Site said error, so I tried again. Same error showed. I then received two emails confirming same order twice though it had not appeared to go through. I immediately called and agent credited one on my double purchase. Here is the problem. They said it could take 3-10 days for credit to come off my debit card. The bank would take that long to remove the double charge. Guess what? A third charge then was taken off of my account. I called about that and was told same thing about length of time for credit. We called our credit union and they said they did not know what they were talking about. They gave us a number to call on dispute. What the heck? These are not easy times and there is no reason for this to happen, especially since we did not order or want three sets of luggage. Do not place an online order with them - Buyer Beware!
I bought this off of Brads Deals. The pics made the item look quite large and roomy. I am not sure if dimensions were on the ebags BD page. I had to look around after I received the bag to find the dimensions.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. I paid extra shipping to have delivery before Christmas. I received an email saying that they canceled my order because they couldn't get it here before Christmas. Then they shipped it after Christmas at full charge... when I no longer needed it because it was obviously a Christmas gift that I ended up replacing with another product. So when I received the cancellation email, I emailed them back saying I did not want it and it was supposed to come before Christmas. Then they said I had to wait to receive it and they would send a return shipping label. When we finally got the product, reached out for the return label, and sent it back, we STILL only got a partial refund, had to go through a ton of hoops and had to pay a premium for shipping before Christmas. Not to mention they charged a warehouse replacement fee without my knowledge that was never refunded, even when they got the product back. What a complete waste of time and money. As someone who online shops frequently, I have never run into so many problems with a company. This place is a scam!
They say they have a lifetime guarantee, but it's been a month since I submitted one and they have never even responded to tell me they would or wouldn't honor it. Also they only ship UPS which is the worst shipping service available.
I've been trying for a month now to get a refund for an item that they lost in the mail and it's like pulling teeth. They initiated an investigation with the USPS who later called me and told me they approved for them to issue me a refund because the item was lost. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund andAfter calling customer service they again told me they need to call me back within 24 hours. They do not follow up and they do all that they can to not refund their customers. Avoid using this company because it's a scam. They were happy to take my money but now that the item is lost they're not willing to refund? Unethical business practices!
Read these reviews. They are true. I wish I saw these. I ordered 2 suitcases. One gets lost on way to me and they want me to wait for an investigation when they clearly see I didnt get my items when promised. They first wanted me to do all the leg work then I threatened to write a bad review and call my credit company. Then they put the investigation in with the delivery company. They still wont refund me until the review is done. That is not how one conducts good business. They will not let me write a review on their site either, funny how that is. Know their return policy. I purchased a gift for my daughter that was Patagonia. From the shipping time until it was opened was 35 days. Their return policy is 30 days and would not let me exchange. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently they cannot transfer calls. How convenient. A manager has yet to return my call. What a joke! I will never purchase anything from this company and will make it well known! I *******@Patagonia knows how they are being represented (poorly)!
Returned a jacket I ordered. Despite having proof of delivery of the return, it's been over two weeks waiting on my refund. Excuse after excuse and now I'm told it will be another 5 days. WORST online shopping experience I've ever had. They are nothing but a drop ship company anyway so you are better off going directly to the manufacturers website for the sales you see on eBags.
I tried to post a negative review of a handbag I bought from ebags. They gave me the runaround and won't post the review. Now I don't trust their reviews as they're all 4 and 5-stars.
I ordered a bag from eBags.com for an airplane carryon because of the description and reviews. It came quickly but was much smaller inside than I expected so I returned it. They were very good about accepting the return, but the process was very expensive. It cost $14 for the return shipping and handling. I would have gotten part of that money back if I purchased another item--the amount would have been applied to the new purchase. I thought this was way too expensive & will not be purchasing from eBags.com again. It was order number ******* by way of proof that this was my actual experience.
