I ordered travel pro overnight bag, which was to be delivered a week later... a few days later I received an email saying that there is a warehouse issue and they are not sure when the bag will arrive... called customer service to verify, and then canceled the order... as soon as order canceled my credit card was billed and a shipping notification was sent out... they then canceled the shipping notification, and told me my card was will be refunded once the bag is sent back... there is no bag that was shipped... there will be no refund... E Bags is a scam... stay away... just bought from Amazon...

Shipment nightmare

I ordered a bag and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Today I get the shipment with the other item but no bag. They have no idea where it is! They have to request status from warehouse and that will take 1-2 days to get a status! I cancelled the order because I can't have it arriving a week late when I am not home. Ordered replacement from Amazon and paid more. Tried to return the other item (which I only ordered to get free shipping) but they want a $4.95 restocking fee.

Dont bother

You are better off buying from a store that has a return policy that does not limit u to 30 days. I got stuck with a unused Tumi bag that was supposed to hold a 13 inch computer and did not and they would not switch it to a more expensive backpack.

Buyer Beware!

Purchased the Samsonite underseater from Ebags and found that this piece was way too large for the underseater space on my Alaska flight. The next day I called to return the luggage and they rejected the return because now it was a used item. The company expected the customer to research the aircraft luggage specifications before use. Calling the Samsonite underseater is false advertising because the only space it would fit would be first class section. This company does not know the meaning of customer satisfaction! I would highly advise others not to support Ebags.

I ordered the eBag Professional Weekender backpack, and it arrived quicker than expected. I've been very happy with it and subsequently ordered the Professional Slim laptop backpack for every day use and have also been pleased with it. It also arrived sooner than expected. Have had nothing but very good experiences with eBags.

Unlike some of the reviews, I've always been satisfied with e-Bags shipments. I first came upon e-Bags from an ad somewhere. I ordered a large purse because I was flying to WI and needed something that could carry my iPad (regular sized), my novel, and all my other numerous things. This first purse was leather, very supple and lovely. However, the inside material shredded and came apart within a year and a half, so even though the outside still looks perfect, the inside is done for. It's down to the leather! The second purse I bought within the past 6 months also has the inside shredding. It was a different brand from the first purse-leather, but much harder, less supple leather. I still, just tonight, ordered a third purse for everyday use. It's not leather and I hope the inside will stay intact. All of this previous review tells the bad side of eBags.
The good side is that there are huge numbers of purses, wallets, carry-on bags, luggage, etc. on this site. Most of the purses are made for security as you travel, with reinforcement so that thieves can't cut the purse's strap away from you. There is also protection for you money and credit cards, as I believe there is some device that can scan your credit cards while they are in your purse!
You also get good coupons and discounts. You get money points for everything you buy. Many of the original prices are very economic, but with the money points from my previous purchases, I saved $10 on my purchase tonight.
So the only complaint I have, and it's a significant one, is that the material used in the inside compartments of the purses IS NOT LONG LASTING AT ALL! It shreds and comes apart. I have purses from 20-30 years ago, not from eBags, and the interior looks almost as good as new. EBags needs to make sure they change this bad problem.

Can not deliver orders

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
They can not deliver orders on time and they do not notify you if they are delayed. Then i did ask when the order will be ready and i was told they do not know

Worthless

Purchased my item on Sun Dec 10th via shoprunner.com (2 business day s&h). Checked tracking today, Dec 12th, & the only thing eBags has done was print a UPS label. Chat w/ a rep named Josh who claims it shipped which is a lie.The tracking info says "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.". SHAME ON YOU JOSH FOR LYING TO ME (I know how it works & I CAN read). Josh said he would figure it out & get back to me via email. It's been 5 hours & nothing (I have the email transcript). Another lie. Bottom line is my item has been sitting in their Warehouse w/ UPS label on it since yesterday. All I want to know is why it has NOT been shipped? I am suppose to receive it tomorrow, that's not going to happen. I wonder if Mr. Cassidy or Mr. Neptune know how their so called beloved company is being run? I will never shop or buy from eBags again. I am going to tell shoprunner about my experience too. Perhaps they will discontinue using them as well. EBags Headquarters will also be notified. I guess they don't read their own reviews here on sitejabber or they don't care to keep their customers. According to the reviews their track record really stinks so think twice before you waste your time & MONEY w/ them bc you will more then likely be given a bunch of lies & screwed over too.

I placed an order. One item didn't show as shipped. I contacted customer service and was told it shipped and they gave me the tracking number. Mysteriously then the tracking number appeared next to the item. When I checked it on the ebags website it indicated it was delivered the day after I ordered. Really!? Then when I went to UPS website it said it was delivered five day later. NOT I called customer service, gave them the info and was advised my paypal account would be credited in 3-5 days. Next I received an email indicating I needed to call UPS to give them some information. I did. They asked me all abut the shipping which I knew nothing about. I basically just told them my address and what supposedly was shipped. Then I got another email indicating when UPS settled the claim I would be refunded. WHAT CLAIM? I called customer service again and was advised the same thing. I said what about the refund I was promised. No answer. I often end up purchasing from this company through Amazon. NO MORE! So somewhere else unless you like being given the run-around.

Refer a Friend is a scam. Ebags does not tell you up front that the $10 coupon is useless. Turns out that everything on their web site is on sale so you can not apply the coupon to anything. When I inquired with the CSM, they told me that I had the choice of using the $10 coupon or the coupon that currently puts that item on sale. I had to dig through the web pages before finding the section that states the $10 coupon is only valid on items selling at MSRP. WARNING, Take you business else where.

Really bad service. Bought a bag on Nov 11th, never got any confirmation or order number, checked my account and saw that nothing bad been taken from it so I thought the purchase had not gone through and bought a bag somewhere else. 10 days later I get this e-mail from a 3rd party company saying that the product had been shipped (!). Got in touch with costumer service (David) who was ironic, did not resolve the problem said the purchase could not be cancelled and disconnected me from the chat! Really bad and unfair service, will never buy there again!

I ordered a Oakley Kitchen Sink Back Pack on October 27th 2017. It was pending for several days. On their website it stated to wait 6-7 businees day for the item to process. So with this being said I chatted online with one of the sales representives and he stated I would get an email the next dy with the status. Of course the next day I get email saying that the item i was requesting was out of stock. So i decided to look up the same item on their website to try to reorder it. Yes it climed to be instock. So being suspicious of the situation I decided to call ebags and speak to one of their represenatives to see if the bag was instock. She said let me check. There was 26 bags instock. The only issue is that the bag went up almost $50 from when I originally purchased the bag a week and a half prior. When I explained this to the sales rep she strted to back track and proceed to tell me that the bag is not available and tht the warehouse was closing for 10 days to do inventory and would not be able to ship out any product. This company clearly screwed up with the original pricing and failed to honor the price. Instead they decided to screw over the consumer. I even asked to speak to one of the managers and was told they were all in a sales meeting. I requeste to get a call back and then was told that the manager was on the road all week. I was promised a call and never got it. It is at this point I really believe this company is ran from someones mother basement. Ill never order from this place again.

I purchased a fairly expensive leather bag with a telescopic handle. Within about 4 months the handle got stuck, rendering the bag virtually useless.
After contacting customer service, it took them exactly 20 days to respond... I finally received a reply from one of their "Customer Success Agents" (seriously...) stating that international customers can basically take a hike if anything goes wrong with their purchase after a whopping 30 day period.

Zero customer support success. What an utter joke. Avoid like the plague!

Warranty scam
October 16, 2017

I had a suitcase fail under the lifetime warranty. They replaced it, and I thought they were great. I didn't open the box until I was ready to use the replacement suitcase, and found that it was defective beyond use. I contacted them. Their customer service told me it wasn't covered as they had determined it was "customer wear and tear". It was BRAND NEW. They stated they have the final say, and they have decided it was not defective but customer wear and tear. Their warranty is meaningless when they can send out faulty goods and then blame the customer.

Unbeatable sale prices

I read the reviews carefully and decided to try out ebags.com and I'm glad I did. No store online or otherwise comes close to their site wide sale prices! Shipment of my two Osprey packs came with in 7 days like they said it would and packed securely and arrived in mint condition. Will totally order from them again.

Disappointed...

Very poor service - they sent my package back without even contacting me (why would they require the phone number and email?) because there were "problems" with my shipping address (there were none...) I called them when got suspicious about the missing package. I had to cancel the delivery because I needed the package for a certain day - I am traveling. The lady on the phone confirmed my cancellation; the next thing - I got an email from eBags telling me that my order would arrive... the day after my departure... So disappointed...
