Bad return policy

I wanted to return some translators purchased and the address to return is in Lithuania- it costs about $500 for shipping! However, goods were sent to me from a warehouse in New York. I called and tried to reach a solution with Enence but was told "I'm sorry but unfortunately the merchandise must be return to Lithuania." What a deterrent for customers to bear the loss because returning is very costly! And the post office told me the address they have in Lithuania is listed as suspicious. Be careful - this company is not reliable - not purchasing from them ever again.

Scammers

Charged me for 4 when I bought 1 and none of them worked so binned. Sent them back as instructed by PayPal and they came back again. PayPal took the money from them and I have been reimbursed but it took 6 months. Scamming scum

I ordered 1, was shipped and billed for 4, tried to get one to work and failed, and now see from other reviews thats a common problem. The company provided an invoice showing it charged GST but has no ABN # (australian business number) so is probably illegally charging GST. And while they say they have a 30 day refund policy if you aren't happy, despite the product being shipped to me from an address in Australia, they want me to return it to an address in Lithuania. DONT BUY IT. Use one of the free apps that do a better job

SCAMMER COMPANY

I reside in Southern Ontario and I ordered 2 Enence translators and 2 hours later I realized that it did not translate the language I wanted it for so I cancelled the order which was confirmed by Enence. 24-hours later the company shipped the product even though the order was cancelled. It arrived at the delivery company in Mississauga, Ontario, about 10 days later but Enence failed to issue a 'Stop Delivery' order and it was delivered to my residence. To return the item, they requested that it be sent to Lithuania at a cost equivalent to the price of the unit. But, it is not returned to the Enence company in Lithuania, it's returned to a distribution company in Lithuania that also has a distribution centre in Kitchener, Ontario. I returned the package unopened to the local shipping company in Mississauga, Ontario, and now they want me to pay the local shipping company to return the package back to my residence and then I have to pay to ship it to Lithuania. This is a scam company. They ship cancelled orders intentionally and make it costly to return the items and then they can claim high sales in their marketing and advertising because nobody will return the product to Lithuania. The order was cancelled within 2 hours after it was placed and they want me to pay for their blatant error. I'm out of pocket almost $200 and the translator is with their shipping company in Mississauga. They advertise that the Enence translator is the 'best translator on the market'. Don't deal with this company. This company has a F-rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)

I cancelled the order I HAD NOT PLACED (I had put the info in, but decided against it and backed out of the entire transaction). I called within 1 hour of "placing the order." The clown on the phone told me it was canceled. I then received ANOTHER email that said the item was on the way. I emailed, "Like heck it is! I canceled it." They emailed, "Oh, sorry, we are so speedy that your item was shipped immediately." I called my credit card to block the pending transaction. They said it had to clear before they could do anything (Discover is crap too) so I tried to call Enence back and they hung up on me after a couple of transfers. I will not give up because criminals need to be held accoutable. I'm declaring fraud, but take my advice and don't get in as deep as I foolishly did.

I was given a translator for a Christmas gift. I can not get the app to download and open up on my Galaxy S23 phone. I have spent over 2.5 hours on the phone with Enence customer serve people who don't know what to do. The first one told me to wait 24 hours and it will work, I waited. I was told to fill out a form and someone from technical would call me. THEY NEVER CALLED. I am trying to return the translator so my daughter can have her credit card charge refunded. This is almost impossible. I guess I am stuck with a useless product.

I thought I had done my homework in looking for a good translation device because I saw the reviews (promoted as their #1 best translator) posted on this site bestconsumertech.com but I have to wonder if this site is also part of the success of this very lousy company with a very lousy product based in Lithuania. I have read the reviews here and will not try to return this device - the cost is exorbitant. This company and this website are scams. Lesson learned.

This translator is a huge scam! When I ordered the product online, I did not purchase insurance, but I was charged for insurance. You need to use your phone with the translator. The volume is ridiculously low that it's very difficult to hear in a quiet room, so on a busy street or anywhere with any noise, it's impossible to hear. Google translate is free, you can use directly on your phone, you can save phrases - AND it's one device. You can also take a photo of text to translate. I'm a little embarrassed I got scammed, because I'm usually a savvy smart shopper, but the advertisements and a lot of the reviews were great, so I'm writing this review to warn others not to purchase.

The worst part is when I immediately realized the volume was way too low, I started the process of returning. They advertise a 30 day return, but that's a scam too! I had an online chat with customer service and I was told I could not return a translator that was opened and used! I'm unsure if they will reimburse the insurance they added, which I did not purchase. One would have to open the box and try the product to then immediately find out it's crap, to then return it…. I finally was told that I can return the translator, but there was a series of ridiculous, long-winded steps listed on their return form, with unreasonable warnings of not being reimbursed if not followed. The one last step that was needed was a tracking number I had to add on another form online, once I sent the return package. The return is in Lithuania and sending it from Canada with a tracking number would have cost more than the actual product, so I gave up and lost my money. I'm still trying to at least get my money back for the insurance charge.

SCAM REPORT--Much like other reviewers complaints
Much like other reviewers, I thought that I would order this translator for a trip that my spouse and I are going on in January. When I ordered one, and went through the endless amount of prompt questions (to spend more $ than you expect) it too said that I ordered 4 when it I DID NOT. I immediately sent an email and of course a refund was denied because they "didn't get the message quick enough". Since I emailed them 30 seconds after my transaction, I call BS. I have emailed for a full refund and return label to ship all 4 items back and had no response. The one translator that I purchased doesn't work either. This is very much a scam and warn ANYBODY READING to report their negative experiences as soon as you can.

I tried to cancel my order with in seconds, when I saw I was charged for 4 devices. It was well over $200, while I'd expected a charge around $50-$60. DO NOT BUY! They charge you $10 per unit to return them. So far they have not accepted my desire to return them.

Was looking into this product. After entering my credit card info, redirected me to other products that I couldn't decline. They automatically charged me for 4 products plus warranty and language app.
Tried to cancel order within 30 min of placing order and they said it was cancelled but got an email 2 days later saying they processed the order and ready to ship.
Now they want me to wait until my order arrives because it was too late to cancel 30 min after placing order by mistake. I also have to pay shipping and wait 14 days before they will look at cancelling this order. Buyer beware! This company is no good and I never even used the p[roduct.

They are a rip off

I came across there ad through a top 30 review of electronics. As I was looking at their sales I decided that I would buy one however every time I click submit the next page wanted me to purchase something else and I would decline it the next page would want me to purchase something else again I would decline. After five pages I got frustrated and got out of the ad altogether. Later that day I received an email stating that I had ordered for translators which I did not. I immediately called their customer service and they started the cancellation process told me it would be up to 48 hours for it to process this was Friday. I got into my email on Saturday to a notice stating that my order has been shipped out. I called customer service again they confirmed of the cancellation but that it did not get to the warehouse in time and they already shipped out the product. They then told me that once I get the product to turn around and ship it back. I asked them for a paid return label and they told me that they do not do that and I will have to pay to ship it back and will not be reimbursed. I'm very angry that this company pushes you to try and buy more of their products then when you cancel they refuse to look at that and then they don't reimburse you to ship a product back that you never ordered in the first place. This is a sham company, be very careful if you order from them I would not trust them at all.

Complete scam

This is a complete scam. They offer a money back refund but if you open the package to try the product they will not give you your money back. As if you could try it without opening the cellophane wrapper! Everything about their operation is sleazy. I have never complained online about a company before. Avoid!

TERRIBLE!
Less than 1 star. SCAM CITY. Still fighting with the company. Only ordered
1 translator, billed for 4. Called the next day to correct the order. Would not correct their error.
They still won't admit there error. They sent a return label. They want me to pay to send them back to…. LITHUANIA. BUYERS BEWARE!

I immediately called to change my order from the 4 I mistakenly ordered to 1. (Still not sure this wasn't part of the scam!). I had to start a "ticket" which of course did not intercept the order. THEN I could not return them to Lithuania as they are considered electronics. I wasted about $200 and am really pissed about it. Do not buy these!

When I saw the ad on this device, I thought that was a great solution for my travels at a reasonable price. When I tried to use it however, I found out that it required a mobile phone to function. Since I can get most languates translated with my mobile phone, why would I need this added device. Besides, after connected it to my phone, the connection was lost shortly. Contacted customer service and was told that I could only returned my 2 devices for a refund if the packages were left unopened. This begs the question as to how would I have found out that this device did not work for me if I never opened the paackage.? I believe the ad was misleading by presenting this as an independent unit. And the company does not provide any reasonable avenue to return the product when it proved to be unsatisfactory.

Do not buy this. 1they will charge you for 5 units even though you chose to buy 1 and then it is a nightmare trying to get your money back. This company has very bad reviews is you search correctly. They also give themselves good reviews to mislead others to buy. The software does not work and won't even download onto many devices from what I have read from other buyers. My phone would not work with it. They will try to trick you on every corn er! Buyer beware!
