Bought from them for years and loved them. I'm devastated.

Ordered a dress 7 /14/ 2024. Writing this review on 6/29/ 2025. After waiting for almost a year. Never receive my dress, Order number - #*******, tired emailing them, no response, phone line does not even work. There is no way you can contact them once you paid your money. I do not know where can i report these scammers.

I was excited about the dress I ordered, but it's been over a year and I never received it. I reached out via email and they stopped responding. I then called and the number on their website is out of service, and has been since at least Jan '25. They should shut down their website and stop taking people's orders/money.

I had shopped here multiple times with no problems. Then placed a significant order, paying partially with a return credit that I had (of about $150) and the balance on my credit card. Months went by... nothing shipped. I reached out multiple times... no response. I finally had to file a claim wit my credit card, but was only able to recover the portion paid on the card; I got nothing for my return credit. This company flat-out stole from me. They clearly had zero intention of ever shipping product, or they would have responded to my multiple messages. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have been shopping with Eshakti since 2017 and had great experiences with them until recently. I ordered several dresses from them in June 2024. After several months I hadn'treceived them and hadn't heard back from customer service. After doing a search on Reddit, I learned that the store is not longer opearional and the owner owes several vendors over $5 million dollars. I am very sad because this was one of my favorite store s to shop at. I am 4'10 and plus sized so it is hard for me to find dresses that are the appropriate fit and length,

I have been a devout Eshakti customer for over a decade. I own dozens of dresses and have recommended their site to so many people. However, their actions (or lack thereof) have given me no choice but to end my relationship with my favorite dress supplier. I placed an order in August 2023 and it showed up in a bag 3 months later. Although the dresses were accounted for, there was no communication and no receipt. Usually, Eshakti had the dresses folded neatly in a box with receipt and return sheets. This was the first sign... In February 2024, I placed an order for 3 dresses for a trip in May. I have sent an email every month since then, and have not heard back from them since June 2024 (the only response.) I have never received my dresses. The only response they gave me is that they were waiting on fabric and would be in touch. This was 7 months ago. No responses to any email, order request, or call (their phone number doesn't work). A year later, no dresses, no refund, no response, no excuse. I absolutely hate breaking up with Eshakti. Their dresses have been my favorite clothing for over a decade, and I can't imagine finding another company that matches what USED to be their attention to detail and customer service. If it wasn't for an updated and useable site, I would assume they've closed up shop and left town. I don't want anyone else to be scammed by whatever excuse for Eshakti is currently using this site.

I was once a huge fan but eShakti has changed entirely and appears to be managed by scam artists. After several unanswered attempts to find out the status of my order 3/22/2024 order, I realized I'd never see my dresses or a refund. So it was on a whim that I decided to check my eShakti account today and, to my surprise, I see that my order's status has been updated to 'Delivered 1/4/2024.' Please note, the delivery date they posted is 2+ months before I actually placed my order. Not only was the order never delivered, I have never received a call, e-mail or refund from this band of thieves. All potential shoppers BEWARE, if you place an order with eShakti, you'll be donating your money to rip-off artists.

It is official that these people are out of business but the website is still up. Most of the time, you cannot finish a transaction but if you do manage to, you will not get your item or your money back. Any outstanding orders not received by now are just money gone so do yourself a favor and don't even shop the website. From what I understand, the owners just took off and locked they doors without a word to anyone. They owe their staff and many customers lots of money.

I have ordered from Eshakti for years. All of my favorite and most complimented dresses have come from them.However, last year I ordered a couple of things and was told there was a fabric issue and I could get a refund. I opted for the refund, which I never received. Calls and emails have gone unanswered. The app is no longer available in the App Store. I love this company so much that if they had a major overhaul, I would try them again. In the meantime, stay away.

Used Eshakti for few years. Past yr cancelled order since never got delivery date. Reached out couple times before cancellation. Finally got email stating I would receive refund via mail in 15-17 business days…yet to receive any response or my dress nor my money back as of today 2/11/25. Last week attempted to leave another VM and found that business phone number listed in website is not in service. I had left numerous messages and emails to representatives Maria and Gina however, no one seems to have any interest in addressing my concerns. Definitely sad to experience this situation with Eshakti being they had provided such a good product previously. I hope they return my money.

I ordered a year ago, paid, still no order with numerous emails, web forms to try and contact someone can't reach by phone either. 😡

Scam. Don't buy anything here. No one picked up the call. I hope they refund me or send me my order its been more than 6 months

EShakti used to be my go to for dresses. They were well made, customizable, and fit to order. It's so sad what eShakti has become because it was truly one of a kind. For those considering ordering, DON'T! EShakti is all but dead, you're money and your order will wind up in a black hole. Google eShakti on Reddit and you'll find additional information/rumors on what happened to the company.

Spent $1300 last may and still have not received product and they will not respond to me about it. It's awful and I am so angry.

In August 2024 I received an email stating my order was delayed due to fabric issue. Its now almost one year and still no order or feedback.

I never received the dress I ordered for a Sorority ceremony in June 2024. I have tried to contact the company but the phone number on the website is no longer in service.

There has been no response on orders purchased after waiting on them due to fabric delays since March. After varies attempts there has been no response nor a refund.

EShakti is no longer in operations, but they will still accept your money and claim to be fulfilling orders. It is no longer a business but a regular scam operation. They accepted my order in mid February, and six months later were still promising that they were about to make the dress. It is now right before Christmas and they still have my money, but no dress.

They claim to have an A+ rating with the BBB but according to the BBB their accreditation has been revoked.

Ordered a dress in April. Still haven't received it. No shipping info ever sent. I emailed them in July for a status update and all they said was "problem with the fabric." No other info or status updates. I emailed again in September to check - no response. This place is a scam.

My last order just never came. It's been a year, and my refund has still never happened. Do not do business with eShakti--you're better off setting your money on fire; at least then you'll get a warm glow.
