This is my second year using Etax. The service I received is excellent. Any questions I had were handled in a patient and professional manner. Thank you.

I have been doing my taxes for several years. This year they gave me an early return from my IRS taxes and charged me a fee for around $70.00 for this service. I did not ask for this service and have never had never did this before.
Always got my return in under 6 weeks from the IRS. They said I did not pay for there service. I have a debit card on file with them. They said they could not bill me, because I did not pay for there service. If there was a problem, they should have contacted me by email or phone. They have this information. They just decided on their own to take part of my return. I called costumer service and spoke with Kelly who was very, very rude. Then spoke with her supervisor and she was even ruder. DO NOT DO Business with these people. I will not, my self.

They are a scam. I did my taxes before I looked up the e tax reviews. I had a problem when I finished and couldn't e file. There was no answer to my questions because the # they posted was disconnected. There is no way to reach. Not to mention they charge me $79.00 at the end of all this before I could get a printed copy. Now I worry that they have all my personal information and will either try to get my refund before I can file with someone legit. Also they could steel my idenity. I am so mad at myself for not reading the reviews first. BAD people do BAD things. What has this world come to.

Don't use http://www.etaxplanner.com/ for your taxes. They are scammers. I got an estimation of my tax return with them. They mentioned a high tax refund amount and asked $400 filling fee. I got an estimation from another source and found the tax refund amount etax has mentioned is incorrect. I decided not to proceed further with them. It's been more than 2 months they still keep calling and threaten me because I got an estimation with them so I need to pay filing fee and if I don't pay they will share my sensitive data information with third party.
If needed I am willing to file a police complaint and deal with them in legal manner.

I just read so many negative reviews that I was in tears for these people by the time I got through them. What I liked about this site was it was very easy and they only charged me, I believe it was $19.95 for self employed tax return. Just now when I needed a copy of my tax return I was able to find it unlike on tax cut. It's not on tax cut, just a summary. I was so angry because I need it for something. The only thing I see that's gone wrong with e- tax online is I was taxed for some of my social security. Never before in 18 years have I been taxed on SS. Then further looking I see that for some reason there's no report for Schedule C so I'm going to have to amend this tax year 2020. But I quickly, within no time I received my refund deposit in my bank. A lot of the refund was due to not being charged tax on unemployment which I had already paid. Overall I was excited of the ability to find my tax file afterwards and had just made up my mind that I'll be ready to use this company next year without a doubt. And then I read all the negative reviews and like I said was in tears for others. So we'll see how my amended return goes when I'm ready to do it. For all the rest of you I send my prayers and my heart sympathy. By the way I live in Tennessee so there were no state taxes to contend with and thank God I wasn't charged for that. In the past I had always used Tax Cut. I think it was connected to H&R Block but for some reason they disappeared and I've not been able to find anything about them anymore.

This company mispresents its service and products. Bait and switch tactics. We paid for a service we did not receive, and when we tried to resolve it with eTax.com's customer service, our emails were ignored, and there was no customer service contact number. When we disputed the amount charged by eTax.com with our credit card company, Efile.com maintained that we owed the money and never once offered a resolution, or offered a way to contact them in person. Fortunately we had the evidence to show that we were not misrepresenting the situation, and that eTax.com did in fact attempt to scam us. Beware. These people are crooks who will waste your time and money, and if something goes wrong, they simply take the money and run.

Small print pages which I did see $29.90 for Federal. However when I got my refund there was $124 taken out. When I called in she was telling me there were pages/explanations - not true. There was never a page that outlined the charges. Total scam. I had to give a star to get this submitted otherwise I wouldn't give it that. I should have done my research and checked these reviews - bad on me.

Just wanted to say that I filled out the forms and gave credit card information as requested.
When my tax return did show up in my account it shorted a little over $90.00. I also noticed that the refunds went to their account first then mine. I contacted them and they said that I did not fill out the online form correctly. Which I know I did. Because of the so called information not being correct and they had to take a chance there was a surcharge of over $ 60.00. I feel like this is somewhat of a scam. After a long phone call trying to make my point that I did do it correctly. They somewhat said I was lying and refused to correct it.

ETax advertises as a free online tax preparation software service. It is not. Customer service is non-existent. The reps are trained by the Wicked Witch of the West. I called and politely stated a general question. She could not answer so I ash\ked her to seek the answer and contact me. She promptly hung up the phone in my ear.

I call for a refund and Brenda answer as if she was going to help but she basically told me I was scam. Beware she tried to get my SS number. Kept asking for it would not give it to her. Out of $30 my fault.

Was wondering why my refund was so much less this year. Called etax, the nice lady explained it was the unemployment checks that I got. The sneaky government gives you some help, then wants the money back as taxes.

They resolved my issue and explained the process in a way I could understand it. My problem was addressed by an agent who personally reached out to me.

Do not use this company for tax filing purposes. First of all, I'll preface this by letting you know that there is a reason this company does not offer a contact number for customer service. There is literally no way to reach Etax.com, if you have problems and wish to speak with a representative in person. We have concluded that this is a matter of convenience for them and purely intentional.) Etax.com makes claims and assures the customer that particular services are offered for reasonable prices, but when the time comes to file, Etax.com takes the money but then runs when there is an issue that needs a resolution. When we attempted to file our taxes, there was an issue, and when we tried multiple times to receive assistance, we continued to see illuminated messages from different agents, who directed us to our personal inbox (there we were to receive assistance). Nothing happened. Etax.com neither contacted us via personal message box, nor helped us at any point afterwards, so we had to find a different tax filing company and ultimately paid twice to file our taxes. When we addressed this with Etax.com, they ignored us and failed to offer a refund (despite the fact that issues on their site caused us to almost miss the deadline.) The real issue here is that this company misrepresented their service, so when the actual return was not filed legitimately, and was rejected (due to the negligence of Etax.com), we had to go elsewhere. Hindsight is 20/20. Had we only known, we could have saved ourselves hours of time, wasted money and an endless headache with this company thereafter. This company is clearly a scam. They will take your money and run, and when you attempt to resolve issues with them (rightfully so), they ignore and shun you.

Understood most of the questions I was asked. Support was fine. Will use it again. The point is to pay fewer taxes.

After several years of logging my tax
After several years of logging my tax return with Etax they have advised that i have been flagged by ATO as possible audit. Senior agents are now saying that my tax affairs are too complicated and refuse to complete my taxes as it takes too much time and they are more suited to people with lesser tax requirements - disappointing they wont return calls and only respond via email - there are too many layers of people to speak to and the tax agents that finalise your returns don't get on the phone as they are "too busy" - Senior account told me to go see a face to face agent while i am in lock down in Melbourne
