I watched the install video a couple of times, didn't look bad, but ran into a few hiccups that caused this to take multiple days.
First, I got 90% of the way thru the install to realize I was sent 7 of the wrong big washers, the ones I received had the correct outer diameter, but the inner diameter was the size intended for the single big screw. Annoying, but ran to home Depot and bought the correct ones in an attempt to still finish that night. Called e trailer the next day to verify the ones I got were correct.

Second, the Mk7.5 Vw Golf has a module installed on top of the crash bar that the instructions don't mention. I see another review mentioning running into this as well, but it took me a little bit of investigation to figure out it's for vw cell net/sos operation. Initially, I was going to just zip tie this to the hitch bar, but wasn't happy with how much it clinked around, so I just left it unplugged & turned the car on to verify no errors showed up.

Third, the 4 outermost screws have to go through the plastic slots for the blind spot sensors. The size of washer specified for the screws provided is bigger than these plastic pieces, so I tried to use the factory bolts, but could not get them to reach the threads through the thicker hitch plate, so I used the lock washer, flat washer, and left off the bigger flat washer on these 4 slots. I think the instructions did mention on a certain make of this car, the factory bolts need to be used on the outer 4, but I really could not get them to reach when going through both the plastic blind spot sensor hole and the slightly thicker hitch plate.

Overall, the rack seems solid, but I ran into a number of issues that made this take much longer than it should have.

I needed a wiring harness that was unavailable at any of the auto parts stores in town.

5 of the 6 stake pocket covers worked excellent, but on 1 of the 6 a long snap on vertical plastic tab was smashed down and folded out horizontal/flat making it not possible to snap it on. The opposite tab was partially bent out. Bending the tabs back to the vertical position would break them off.

The stake pocket covers were shipped in a packaged envelope versus a cardboard box. Any heavy shipping item placed on top of the envelope could damage the stake pocket covers.

I removed the damaged plastic tab and installed the stake pocket cover with NAPA automotive caulk around the inside edges.

It was an easy search to find the part I needed on their website. When I received the part it was exactly what I ordered. A short time later, my RV side marker lights were working again.

Purchasing experience was great. William S. Emailed me regarding the delivery tracking and if there's any assistance I need about the hitch. No problem installing it, thanks to the detailed instruction. The diagram and the torque spec were helpful.
