Been taking the same meds for 15 years now when express scripts does a refill because they're too cheap to use the real med any more they just decide on their own to change to generic. Oh by the way they have the nerve to still charge the full price.
They just called me (I have never heard of them nor have I ever don't business with them) letting a Judy know about a prescription update. A woman with a foreign accent who corrected herself said "excuse me, the parents of Judy." So either this is legitimate but they need some serious training which is scary considering Judy/parents of Judy and other customers most likely will not get their medicine. OR this is a scare tactic scam and they are targeting random people expecting them to naively call back to clear their name by providing their actual information as clarification.
Either way. Long story short, someone from this company called me when I never gave them my number and then they left me a voicemail for someone who I am not regarding their medicine and left very sensitive information in this message. Get right, people. Get right.
I have spent 500 hours trying to just get my medications on time and have been unsuccessful. It takes so much effort just to get the prior auths and then they told me to send in the prescriptions 20 days early and I did without the hold date, much to the chagrin of my Dr., and it sits there every month in a "filling prescription" status. You literally have to call in 15 times to get a prescription moving every month and will be amazed at the contradictory responses you get. I am at my wits end here and have been in severe pain and withdrawals many times without my medication. How is this allowed?
I have a bad experience with this company. The medications they send me have short expiration date, so it is not as effective as the one I used to get from a physical pharmacy. Now I have to trash my medication before the expiration date on it because it is not as effective. For my last order with them, they sent me a large ointment tube with short expiration date. I communicated the company twice explaining that I use this ointment as needed and I need a medication with later expiration date in order not to waste my money trashing the tube while it's hardly used. I received weird replies not related to my inquiry. I called customer service, had to speak with 3 persons for a long period of time, explaining the issue to each one of them without any progress. Finally, I spoke to a manager/supervisor, who spoke with arrogance and did not care when I mentioned that I am not satisfied and will share my experience with other customers. Conclusion, no more Express Scripts. Will switch to another physical pharmacy to save my money and get better customer service.
I have been trying to refill a prescription since May 2nd. Its now May 19th and they still haven't shipped it. They promised to ship it Friday then Tues and then again yesterday May the 18. I have been speaking to them daily for the last 2 weeks, I really wish there was another option. They over promise & under deliver
They drop your meds from their list of "covered" during the next term so you consistently have to switch brands. They cover almost nothing for my daughters type 1 diabetes I have to get everything online and with good RX coupons.
Don't use this company they are worthless, have terrible service, can't fill simple prescriptions even after the doctor has provided the prescription several times. Then you get to play the game of calling your doctor to get them to send over another prescription only for them to tell the doctor they don't have your address and tell the doctor to have the patient call again. Even though I confirmed my address on the phone three times before. They must have the worst training of employees ever, just talking to these people is frustrating, let a lone trying to get your much needed medication.
Very very very rude and unprofessional customer service. I don't know if they even train their staff on how to talk to people.
I wish I could give them -0- stars. Express Scripts recently put a pause on a blood pressure med that I depend on because my existing balance was supposedly too high and they said I needed to make a payment before they would send the script. I immediately made a full payment, but I've come to find out that they still hadn't sent out the drug and now I will be out of it well before they can get it to me. When I called them, the first customer service rep kept interrupting me and when I made that known to her she immediately said she was getting a supervisor on the phone because she had a stroke in the past and didn't want to have another one! The supervisor then said that even though I made the payment, I still had to call them and let them know about it so they can release the drug. Now, I've spent years in IT and I have to say that this is a result of a poorly designed system! The drug should have been automatically released from the pause once the payment had been made. Further, no communication sent by them about the balance ever said that I would need to call them after making an online payment in order for it to be shipped! Poor customer service and a poorly designed system makes is a dangerous combination for a life-sustaining drug supplier. I told them to cancel all my refills. I'd rather give the business to my local pharmacy and save the headaches and possibly my life!
They put my prescription on the wrong insurance and tried charging me 4x the cost. They also don't verify with the patient before sending the medication which is stupid because doctors offices make mistakes. I've never had such a hassle in my life with probably 10 plus calls. Stay away!
I have had very good results using Express Script as my prescription mail order. Communication is good orders are timely.
I attempted to refill a prescription with the company. I was met with unknowledgeable CSR who were useless with reading from a menu or a script. I was noticed that the account that I had set up in March was deleted because I had not used it in18 months. Yet the have all the information. This company can prove to be detrimental to its customers health if they are so incompetent about prescriptions.
They won't deliver your medicine. They won't answer their phones. They will completely ignore your requests. Stay far away from them and freedom fertility and United healthcare in general.
My company switched our insurance to Express Scripts and I have experienced nothing but problems and hurdles. They challenge more than 50% of my doctors prescriptions, frequently deny coverage, and have the worst customer support.
I've had an overpayment of $39 in the Express scripts system for four months. I just spoke for the fourth time with customer service and still do not have a refund. Each time I call they say payment is happening "right now" yet I still do not have reimbursement. They are the most incompetent bunch of charlatans I've ever encountered.
Worst decision ever, I thought they wold be good since their medicare supplement s great, but they absolutely suck, if you need to speak to someone, you have to go through the whole automatic process until you finally get someone who barely speaks English, and just keeps telling you what the computer, they will never actually answer your question, and will just keep trying to get you off the phone, I spent 30 minutes telling the guy that the website says if I order, my total is $393.00 he kept saying that it should be $141.00 THAT'S WHAT I''M TRYING TO TELL YOU... I finally gave up. Maybe my local pharmacy can help. Now I just got a message that my order was received, apparently, the idiot went ahead and ordered it anyway
Orders are never correct. Mislabeled drugs (they send you the wrong meds and mislabel them so they can charge you for expensive drugs, give you crap n pocket the overcharge! Who is watching these drug companies?) Customer service is non-existent! Then when you switch to a better insurance and leave ES they continually send you harassing robo calls, emails, and letters via snail mail. Customer service. Has no idea how to deal with ANY issue or how to navigate their own system. Wish i could give a negative rating!
I am retired from the Air Force and have used Express Scripts for over 20 years. My wife has several prescriptions filled by them. When she ran out of one of their prescriptions I contacted Express Scripts and they said it was delivered on 2 Feb 2022 and since it was shown as delivered they would not replace the order unless I paid for another refill. Their representative recommended I contact my wife's doctor and have the prescription filled at a local pharmacy.
I used to use Express for my prescription but my doctor will no longer send my prescriptions to Express Scripts. We still use Express Scripts for my wife's prescriptions because the copay is lower and she has numerous prescriptions.
The following complaint is basically the same as mine:
should have received a refill for an expensive medication through TriCare 4 Life but when I called Express Scripts today to tell them that in spite of the tracking information on the refill telling me that the package had been delivered I have not received the refill. They informed me that according to their records it was shipped in one package with another prescription. I did receive the second prescription. I believe the lost prescription was not placed in the container with the second Rx but that someone at ExpressScripts failed for whatever reason to include the lost Rx. This drug costs me a $29 co-pay and the government $600. ExpressScripts now says that since it has been more than 45 days since they mailed the Rx there is nothing that can be done. In January I had a similar experience except that at that time I was told I hadn't waited long enough to get a replacement for a non-delivered Rx. Someone needs to investigate this company. I believe they are ripping off the US Government and its beneficiaries.
They are the worst, it takes hours to get through to them. Once you get thru they dont know what they are doing. So many problems, promised call backs from supervisors that never happen (Patient coordinators) VERIZON PLEASE TREAT US EMPLOYEES BETTER SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY!
They don't care about you as a patient and they don't care about you at all. I had someone actually tell me there is nothing they can do to help me. Their COVID 19 tests have been backordered for over a month while you can get them anywhere at cvs Walgreens and stop n shop.'you get a canned response from a social media specialist that due to high demand they backordered. I looked into switching my prescriptions to my local pharmacy because every time I call there is a problem. I try and avoid them as much as I can. Thanks for free COVID kits which you don't have I will pay on my own at cvs and order at Walgreens as I have a chronic liver disease (I know you don't care) and avoid you all together. I wish this company would just go out of business they are the worst.
Answer: Easy to get hold of, but a total waste of time, they will just give you their preprogrammed script and not listen to a word you say.
Answer: It's a legit company with the worlds worst service
Answer: No. And since hell would have to freeze over before I ever actually do purchase anything from Express Scripts I want to have a success story.
Answer: I pay a monthly charge which is part of my Medicare Supplement Insurance. The total premium is $439 a month but it also covers other charges Medicare does not. Then for each drug Express Scripts charges a maximum of $20 for 90 pills if generics are used. Non generics depend on the medicine; they can be much more expensive.
Answer: I had no choice, it is the only option through my employer.
