Fanatics has the worst customer service I have ever had! I ordered Super Bowl Jerseys for my fiancé and myself on the 18th of January with a guaranteed ship date of the 27th and a delivery date of the 30th. My jersey shipped on time but my fiancé's shipped on the 28th and now won't be here until the 2nd, the day after the game. When I contacted them about this issue all they said was "sorry for the inconvenience" in several email responses. They won't ship a new jersey overnight, they won't refund my money, nothing other than "sorry for the inconvenience" oh and if you want to return it you can pay for the shipping when you get your package. Don't order through Fanatics.com if you want the items you ordered, or if you are expecting any reasonable customer service!
SAFE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. I would give this place ZERO stars if i could. I ordered my Seahawks Super bowl jersey on 1/19/2015 with an understanding that the jersey would ship 'NO LATER' the than January 27th. So i paid extra for my shipping method to reflect the worst case of shipping on the 27th Because i wanted my jersey IN TIME! For the Super Bowl. I contacted them on 1/27/2015 through their live chat service and was told my jersey WOULD be shipping today 1/27 and WOULD BE DELIVERED BEFORE THE GAME. Well turns out they didn't ship it on the 27th. They shipped it today 1/28 which gave me an estimated delivery date of February 2nd. Obviously missing the super bowl. I contacted them again through live chat to try and change the shipping method since the package JUST had a label printed in their shipping center. And was Denied. I was told "they are sorry they didn't ship it out on time and there is nothing they can do for me". I called the fed-ex number on my delivery email and the Fedex Rep said they would change the shipping if fanatics called them which i relayed to the live chat customer service rep Lucy and said i would pay the extra fees. She then told me there is nothing they can do again. This place is an absolute JOKE! Do not spend your money here take it somewhere else. For a place to make deadlines that you pay good money for them to meet to end up disappointed is pathetic. But who cares right? Its just the super bowl. I will never do business with the place again.
Absolutely DO NOT order from this company. I ordered 5 Oakland Athletics Baseball Ornaments December 2nd so "Santa" could have them in our Christmas Stockings. The shipment arrived with 4 of the 5 ornaments although al were listed on the packing slip. I filed a "missing item" request on their website, and was told the replacement would be sent. The item that arrived was a University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Ornament however the packing slip again had the Oakland A's Ornament listed! I went online again and filed a "wrong item request" and spoke to someone in customer service and was told the correct item would be on its way. 3rd time's a charm, right? No! This time I get a Clemson University Football ornament. Fed up, I ask for a refund. I have to go ship back the 2 wrong ornaments, they confirm receipt and say they are processing the refund. Then I get an email that a refund has been processed in the amount of $0.00. I decided to just do a dispute with my credit card and they thankfully took care of it but the process has been ridiculous – never again – BEWARE!
Do not order from this company! I ordered a Viking jacket that tuned out to be sweatshirt material which was a women's large. It was more like a youth's size. I used there label to send it back and was charged $12.49 when it says they charge $5.50. It took several phone calls to get anything back on my credit card. So I paid $12.49 and got nothing for it! Just a lot of stress!
I have always had great experience with Fanatics over the years. I rev'd 5 shipments from them this holiday season. 3 shipments were perfect. In one, there was a damaged item and they quickly re-shipped at no charge, and another one - the item did not fit the person, and shipped it back free of charge and they waived return shipping charges. I am happy with them.
I ordered a custom nhl Jersey. And wanted it fast boy am I glad I chose fanatics thank u so much! I will have it for the game the same week I ordered it. Item was authentic and awesome. I never leave reviews but I do not understand all these bad reviews fanatics is awesome and I will surely shop with them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family.
BUYER BEWARE! I ordered something from Fanatics.com and then received an email that they cannot fulfill my order and would provide a refund. It's been more than one month, and they claim to have refunded my money but have not. Repeated follow-ups to obtain my refund have gone unanswered or with a refusal to give me a clear answer on where my money is and why it wasn't refunded to PayPal, which I used to complete the order. Terrible merchant, customer service and apparently they list merchandise that isn't even available. Stay away!
STAY AWAY from this company. I placed an order on 1/2/15 and was PROMISED it would be here 1/7/15--guess again! They have listed my order as "new" and can't even tell me (through an automated response) now when it will be shipped and only can tell me "my order is being held up becasue of a busy season"! If that's the case--get more help or be honest with people up front and tell them that--not promise one thing and not deliver. Never again!
DON'T GO THERE! THEY SHIPPED THE WRONG SHIRT, SO I RETURNED IT IN THE ENVELOPE PROVIDED WITH THE ORDER. INSTEAD OF REPLACING IT AND SHIPPING THE CORRECT SHIRT, THEY ONLY PARTIALLY REFUNDED ME FOR THEIR ERROR, DEDUCTING $7 FROM MY REFUND. THIS AMOUNTS TO TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Placed an order dec 10th for a sweater that was supposed to be a Xmas gift! Tracked the shipment and on dec 18th it said it was a successful delivery! Well I never received anything by dec 23 and called to notify them! Instead of looking into it thy just reshipped a sweater, which to me just doesn't make any sense unless like many other people it was never really shipped! It's now dec 29th and I still do not have it. Once i do receive it however, it will be returned! To much hassle. Fanatics needs some serious overhauling to improve their business! To much competition for them to be so lazy and lack in customer service! My opinion don't risk it! Find another site to order from!
I ordered a hockey jersey at the end of NOVEMBER to give as a Christmas gift. It did, in fact, arrive just in the nick of time for Christmas. However, it was missing the "C" to signify that the player is the team captain. The packing label said it was included. For those who know hockey, it is standard that the captain has the "C" patch affixed to the jersey. My son will not wear the jersey without it; he feels it looks like a cheap imitation. This jersey cost $200. I sent emails and contacted customer service, and every person gave the generic reply that "custom orders are not returnable or exchangeable." I reiterated to every person I spoke with that I did not want to return/exchange it. I asked if they could merely send me the "C" patch, and I would deal with getting it applied. I thought this was very reasonable compromise on my part. This request repeatedly fell upon deaf ears. When I spoke to a supervisor, she was even less professional, and actually somewhat rude. I have done business with them in the past, and have endured the long shipping lags. I will NEVER deal with them again, based on their total unwillingness to do the right thing.
It is really disappointing to receive my sweaters (gifts) that I planned with so much excitement to give away 3 ran small and the material is so cheap, I decided not to rate so low because my shipment arrived on time and my hubby's jersey was fine.
I would give it a 2nd thought to order again.
Here comes the trouble of shipping back and who knows what will happen next.
Ordered product on December 11th, 2014 and was told by Fanatics it would deliver by Christmas. I ordered a special event that was in stock at the time. I received numerous emails that product would ship on the 22nd of December and it never did. When I called the group, they advised because I had ordered my product on the 11th I would receive by Christmas and shouldn't worry. Received more updates the following day that it would ship on the 23rd of December and that never happened. When I called the group again, they advised my product was out of stock on the 23rd and they didn't send me information on that because they said it was not their responsibility. The website never said it was out of stock and come to find out I paid for a product they never even had. This company is a scam with terrible customer service.
Being a family of Big Ten fans and I am a MSU graduate, I usually get my family some fun gifts for the holidays based on team paraphernalia. I wish I had researched this site before ordering. It came okay but the merchandise was so CHEAP and NASTY, I returned it, in their box and still awaiting my credit. Don't just stay away from this site and company... RUN!
Maybe I should have read the reviews before purchasing from here. Most of the poor reviews I've read are about their failure to deliver around the holidays. Well here's another one for you. I made the purchase on 12/16 and was guaranteed delivery by 12/22. Now it is 12/23, Christmas Eve is tomorrow, and there is a very good chance I will not have my wife's gift. I'm giving them 2 stars (instead of 1) because I'm assuming that the quality of the product I purchased will be good, the price was very good, and there is still a chance that it will arrive tomorrow. But when I chatted with their customer service online, they basically told me there was nothing they could do -- even though they currently have a banner on the web site that says "Guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve for orders over $100". My guess is that they don't stock their own products. But clearly they need to do a better job of fulfillment, especially around the holidays.

Update: My order miraculously shipped today, so it should arrive by tomorrow (Christmas Eve). I'm upgrading my overall rating and my Shipping rating by one star. I don't think this would have happened if I hadn't pressed them on two separate occasions to ship my order.
Will never again order from fans edge or fanatic.com. Bought an item more than 2 weeks ago, was promised a christmas delivery. Called yesterday, never got a receipt or order number, tracking number, nothing. WAS TOLD it hadnt shipped yet, but upgraded to overnight priority shipping to make sure it was here by christmas. I call tonight, still no tracking number, told they lied, they havent even been made yet, and I'd be lucky to get it by Jan 20th. And oh, even if they refunded the money I spent, I wouldnt have it for 10 business days. So essentially, the way out there awesome show stopper christmas present I picked out for my husband, a disabled veteran and paramedic, is royally screwed, and all the supervisor tonight could say was well the supervisor yesterday shouldnt have told you that, and ill take $5 off the order for you. Which i wont get before christmas anyway... what a joke.
Do not trust them. In my opinion, they say that items are available just to get your order. Delivery was promised in 3 days, but never received. After 6 days I called and was told that it was in-stock, but delayed by snow in Ohio. They promised an expedited order, but it was never received. I cancelled the order after 13 days.
I had a very positive experience with Fanatics. The merchandise was ordered on December 4th and arrived on December 8th. Exactly as described, super quick ship. No problems!
I wish I could give no stars! While home bound awaiting the birth of my son, I had no choice but to online shop for Chritmas. Being a military family living away from home, I thought it would be nice to get my husband some shirts, sweats, and hats from his favorite Boston teams. When my order was late, I called and was told there was no record of my order. My payment was taken promptly, so there was definitely an almost $200 record on my end. I explained I was pregnant and needed this gift for my husband who is in the army and will be on leave for Christmas. For over two weeks, I called and emailed. Each time I was assured everything was taken care of. Now, in December, I call and email yet again, am told I'll get expedited shipping, it will be there for Christmas we promise! This evening, I recieve an email they have none of the stuff I ordered, they gave me a refund and a credit to buy from them like I ever would! I am beyond upset. The money is nowhere to be seen and may not show on my credit card for weeks, I now must last minute shop with a smaller budget, and I have no idea what to get my husband. Had. Been to, d this when I ordered, I wouldn't have ordered these items on the hope the stock came in time. This company is negligent and although the people are nice, they're ineffective. They've added additional stress even though I explained my circumstances everytime I called. NEVER buy from them!

I do agree that the holiday will add a little extra time but I don't believe it's as bad as everyone is saying. Write letters to your licensing body whether it be NFL or MLB and let them know about Fanatics and their FRAUDULENT and DECEPTIVE business practices. Fanatics should be glossed as Fraudnatics.
