Have you been wondering if its possible to get money back from fidelity? Yes its 100% possible because i recently got my money back with the assistance of (isomrobert24 aol com) and his legal team, all i did was provide proofs of transactions to backup my report and i got my total balance back. I hope this helps someone before its removed.
I did better, in my own separate account, than my managed Fidelity account! I got the feeling, Fidelity managed my money however they wanted to!
I was rolling over an Annuity. Mistake were made that cost me thousands. Their response was tough luck, close your accounts and go somewhere else. Be very cautious when choosing Fidelity.
Stay away from them at all costs, they took 100 from my IRA without disclosing, disclaimer or anything in regards to the 100 fee they took from my account. I was looking to roll over 70k total in assets between brokerage and retirement accounts to consolidate with them, instead they stole 100 from my IRA and will not refund it. No documents saying I would incur a fee for the transactions whether it was 1 dollar or 1 million. This sets back my distribution on my end 100 plus the 100 they took. Don't make my mistake by using this company.
The computer at customer service incapable to answer basic questions. It does not understand P/E!
The customer service reps don't write or read English well. He does not understand there is a difference between sector and industry.
You ask a question via email, the reply is always the same "Due to currently high volumes, response times to general questions may be longer than usual"
Fidelity is incompetent as an investment company, or commiting fraud. I wanted to rollover my investments to J.P.Morgan Chase on May 1,2023. The employee insisted that I had to do a RMD, which is a distribution or withdrawal, which would cause an unnecessary Tax event for me this year. I explained that the regulation had been changed in December and I would not meet the age requirement for two years. He had to send my request for MY OWN MONEY to a special review team. It has been three weeks and the unnecessary review is still not complete. I should not have to teach them about current regulations, that is their job. I should be able to TRUST that they are up to date with regulations. I wonder how many unsuspecting folks have been made to follow the outdated regulations since Dec., 2022.
Generally, very dissatisfied! I allowed Fidelity to manage my IRA for a little over a year with a little over $1M. At the time, I was only months a way from retirement in August 2022. From the 52 week high on the account, they lost over $100k in four months, averaging about $7,400.00 per week. I continued to plead for them to reduce my risk but their actions were slow and their inept staff of CFPs continually resisted changes in allocation of stocks to bonds using simplistic analogies like the stock market is like a roller coaster. My issue with them is they are adverse to making changes and adapting to market and economic conditions. They pigeon hole you into a set portfolio along with thousands of others regardless of individual specifics. They push diversification and a long approach only using a mix of stocks and bonds, never even considering other valuable levers of investing. They hire people with no education in accounting, investing etc. I had a biology major and a political science major resisting my pleas for reduced risk. These inept minions work under the direction of managers who are simply acting in the best interest of Fidelity. To say they have fiduciary accountability to the customer is a farce! I am a 40yr plus customer of Fidelity and have tried letting them manage my money on two occasions over that time, the first experience was mediocre at best and the second time was an absolute disaster! Worst financial decision in my life!
I called Fidelity to find out why we did not receive a form 5498 for my wife's Ira account for FY 2022, as my accountant required it, to complete our 2022 taxes. Madison not only didn't have a clue, she put me on hold 7 times in over a 60 minute conversation, to find out zero info and what to do.
After the 1 1/2 hour conversation of telling me I couldn't speak on my wife behalf, after insisting to speak to her to approve my speaking, she still had no clue how to help us. I then extremely frustrated, went to go back on line and try to locate the form. I was unable to log on as Madison had locked the account out. You can only imagine how upset I was and called Fidelity back.
They refused to unlock my wife's account and stated they would review it in 72 hours. This is tax season and I can't afford this lack of cooperation. The representive clearly did this out of spite and I will not tolerate it. Their employees lack knowledge and are very rude. Why would anyone trust their retirement funds with them.
My wife has a modest IRA account with Fidelity, but I have my whole 401K with them. I will be contacting my account manager on Monday, explaining my frustration, closing both accounts and moving our investments elsewhere.
After long time going from one Company to another FINALLY I went to Fidelity Investments in Roslyn < Long Island and open up brokerage account. What a great success. I received very worm welcome as soon as I enter the office and I was escorted to Mr. Joseph T. Santiillo,Financial Representative of Fidelity. He exceed my expectations in every way. Mr. J.T.Santillo was very professional, well educated and customer orientated. He opened up an account for me in no time and helped me to get familiar with the process of using it.If you need a Financial Representative for any need just go to Fidelity. You will be very happy. I waited on a phone call for an hour and they said that nothing could be done at the time. Note that this company is the one one of the few trading platforms I have. It is by far, the slowest and the rudest customer service I've experienced. The guy I was talking to let out a deep sigh when I was talking to him. It's not my problem that you signed up for the job, but don't lash it out to customers. If my company didn't choose fidelity as its Roth IRA platform, I would've transferred long ago. Better to stick with TD Ameritrade than this site.
I started a Fidelity GO Managed IRA Account last year. In 8 months, they lost 11%.
Today I just spoke with Fidelity Advisor Nicholas,
He asked me, "how are doing today?"
I answered him, "Very BAD."
He responded, "GLAD to hear that." (what kind of Financial Advisor is that!)
Nicholas did not mention Fidelity's function in managing my account, he was just blaming the market. So I told him since Fidelity has no function in my account, then they should not get paid from me, I can do the same to just follow the market. He kept ignoring my current goal even though I repeated 3 times to him.
Then I spoke with Nicholas' supervisor Steven, Steven told me he lost money too and many people lost a lot more than I lost, it is normal because the market is going down. I told him the same that Fidelity does not need to be paid by me since they are not functioning anything but just following the market. Steven also told me that I need to go back to talk to advisors like Nicholas. I told Steven I did not want to talk to someone like Nicholas. Steven refused to acknowledge my current goal, I offered him to repeat it, he said he did not want me to repeat it. Therefore, I concluded that he pretended he did not hear my current goal, and he did not want me to repeat it, then he is not doing his job. I asked to speak to someone else, then Steven INSULTED ME, "YOU CAN CALL US BACK WHEN YOU CAN HAVE AN ADULT CONVERSATION. He hung me up.
To complain,I have to fill in tick boxes. If I tick other, they can't deal with it.It is impossible to send a secure message.
Their costs have gone up to £90 pa for small investors.Have spent a morning trying to close account online, impossible. I have now sent them snail mail letter, hope I don't lose any more money during the wait.Small investors not welcome.
This company not only are extremely incompetent but definitely lack any empathy after losing my spouse
Went to cash out my 401K, they told me I had to wait 6 days to verify my bank account first, or only other option was to request check in the mail and if you wanted before 10-14 days I would have to pay then $25 to have my check sent to via UPS. So lame that the customer has to pay anything for their lack of being able to verify a bank account. This is just a way for them to keep your money longer and risk you losing your money in a highly volatile market. I will NEVER use FIDELITY Again. They are a horrible company and most of their customer service people are unprofessional and not even trained on how to handle QDRO accounts so they tell you all your money is gone when you call sending you into a panic! #fidelitysucks
I opened an account with Fidelity because I was told Trader Active Pro a trading software of theirs was free. I had linked two of my external bank accounts to Fidelity and transferred money in. I tried downloading their software and could not get it to work, so I called Fidelity. An extremely rude customer representative told me I had to do two trades a month to qualify for it, before they would consider giving me access. I told him I had opened up my account for their trading software and probably would take my business elsewhere. Approximately 10 or 11 days later, after the hold was taken off of my funds I began to my transfer out of Fidelity to one of the other bank accounts I had externally linked to Fidelity. A while later I got a message saying the transfer could not be initiated in my account was locked. When I finally able to call Fidelity I was put on hold for over an hour waiting for the "back office" to talk to me. I finally spoke to Ian. I was very upset as to why they would lock my account, and he told me about my phone call asking for Active Trader Pro. He told me that day I called the rep gave me the wrong information. I didn't told him I didn't care about that I was upset they would lock my account because I decided to move my money. He then put me on hold for another half an hour. Once he came back he ask me why I was transferring it back to my other bank account instead of the account of funds came from. I told him I thought because they were both external link transfers and that was something I could do. He then started you a lot of personal questions: such as how much money I was going to transfer out, how much of my money I was going to transfer out, and why I needed to. I told him it was none of his business. He kept trying to get me not to take my money out. Finally I insisted that I would do what I pleased with my money. He finally told me I could transfer the money back to the original Bank it came from. I hung up went to transfer the funds and they were not available. I called back and spoke to another person named Dennis. He wanted to know what I needed the funds for and how much I was going to transfer out. Again I said was none of my business. He put me on hold off and on and I believe the phone call was another 30 minutes. I spent two hours my time very frustrated and upset a fidelity. I was finally able to get my money transferred out. These people are absolutely awful to me and I would not recommend them to anybody. Their customer Representatives had no right treating me this way. They obviously are taking their jobs way too seriously.
This company is easily the worst I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. They have jerked me and my family around for more than two years when we have tried to withdraw money to pay for college expenses. Each time they have given us different steps to solve it or forwarded us to someone who didn't actually get the job done. The last time we called them to withdraw money from an education UTMA they literally told us we should leave the money in there and that its not supposed to be taken out. So, what in the hell am I supposed to do When I can't even use my own money in there to pay education expenses. They don't give a $#*! about you. I had to find another way to pay off 5,000 dollars in debt. Easily a 1 star company.
Our experience with Fidelity has been dreadful we've spent hours on the line trying to talk to them They are just waiting for my wife who is to 91 to pass on so they don't have to pay what's coming there they've lefthey lie they lie they lie they lie they put you on a hole forever we've tried 5 times at least talking or waiting at least an hour and we still don't get any positive results all as we get is a run around I can't believe that somebody like that is allowed to be in business we're not talking about pennies we're talking about a lot of money That's the issue they actually think that everybody has a fax setting in her living room waiting to send them a fax bill for $5000 when a vaccine got a 1/2 a million You have a million dollars that is mine that I can't get good luck screw Fidelity
Not happy about the newest addition… the chart sucks… doesn't even let you see what you want if you open multiple indicators. And if you zoom in to try to see it. You get locked in and can't move off of the chart… stupid!
If you go through one of the Fidelity offices, they have commissioned sales men who will tell you they will only charge 0.07% per quarter. This is a lie. They charge your entire portfolio 1.3% per month for investing $*******. 00. They will tell you they will NOT charge you ANY fees to make trades. This is a lie. They charge you fees each time they make a trade to "manage" your investments. You will notice that when the stock market goes down $1,300 that day and you look at YOUR portfolio, you will see that YOU lost OVER $10,000 for that single day. Buyer beware.
Answer: Expect to wait on hold for 15mnto 30mn and get nowhere when you get someone on the phone.
