This company not only sent different water filters than was ordered, but then refused to give us more than 1/4 of the price we paid for the filters. In addition, they made us pay to return the incorrect product and insure it costing us an additional $17. So, after all was said and done, I paid them $111 for nothing.

I bought a several hundred dollar Rusco auto flush valve system here. I had it installed. It did not work at all. They said I could send it back, but I would have to pay for shipping. They eventually sent a replacement, which shows obvious prior use, and doesn't work right, flushing only a small amount of water, and leaving most sediment in the filter. They have not responded to recent emails. I would strongly recommend that no one buy from freshwatersystems.com. You are a fool if you do. And also avoid Rusco auto flush since it doesn't seem reliable at all.

The reason that I purchased the filter was for the quick release fixtures, which they do not have at Home Depot of my local hardware store. Unfortunately, when I installed them, taped them and tighetned them as much as possible they persisted to leak. Which is the reason why I tied to return the item.

However, it seems that they won't accept filters that have had water in them. Of course, it was impossible for me to know that they were faulty and leaky without actually installing them.

As they are not willing to reimburse me because I have used the faulty fitler to see if it would work in the first place, and there is also a significant re-stocking fee on top of the shipping that I would incur, I have to eaten the cost and put this down as to a bad experience with your company.

I have now visited my local hardware store and for $8 have 2 brass fixtures which I have affixed to the filter (removing te quick release features) and it works flawlessly. And I can buy replacement filters (without the quick release) from Home Hardware and elswhere for less price.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They do NOT ship same day, as advertised. My product was so stupidly packaged that it was broken. They were uncooperative, refused to send replacement via expedited shipping. They sent it a SLOWER way than what I paid for originally, and BOTH times it was over 30 hours before product was sent out. Manager expressed sympathy, but refused any compensation for fact I was without my sterilization system for 10 days when it should have been 2--due mostly to their incompetent packaging.

My experience buying from them has been horrible!

I ordered a steam distiller over a month ago (6/16/2012) and they sent the wrong filters for it. Also a water cooler sanitizer spray I ordered with it was 2 years (yes I said TWO years) past its expiration date - which was clearly printed on its front.

They refunded the cost of the sanitizer but have completely failed on sending me the right filters. Many weeks and emails later and I still do not have the filters. Each time they blamed their shipping department.

So I emailed again a week and a half ago but they never replied this time. So I notified them on Monday (exactly a month to the day I placed my order) that I am filing a complaint against them with the BBB and a fraud complaint with my credit card company.

That seemed to light a fire under them and supposedly Wednesday (7-18) I was to receive the filters for my distiller. Well now it is Friday and I had to write them again as still no filters.

It is now over a month since I bought my distiller and still no filters.

I do not know if they are just so incompetent or intentionally cheat customers? Consider them: 1) cheaters, 2) Sellers of outdated sanitizing products, and 3) They put you on ignore after a while as they repeatedly fail to correct their mistakes.

A completely useless and sad company!

"Terrible!

"Terrible! I ordered a part from their web site and paid with Paypal. A day later I got an email saying that the part was on backorder. I called to cancel the order. The order was not cancelled. I called again to cancel. The order was still not cancelled. I called for the 3rd time today and was told that they haven't had that part on hand since 2010. Of course I've been promised that they will cancel the order this time, but I'm not holding my breathe. I guess the easier way is to dispute the charge through Paypal.
These guys are a joke!"

I purchased a water system from this site for almost 500.00. I had it installed by a professional plumber and within 1 1/2 months it stopped working. I called up the customer service and they said they have been having problems with this system and would gladly take it back. Which is great.

HOWEVER they refused to reimburse me for paying a plumber having to put it on or take it off. They pushed the responsibilty to the distributor and didn't want to take any responsibility themselves for selling the product. To make a long story short, I had to pay almost $300 for plumbing services and I actually have to pay for return shipping myself. They did not want to even pay for that.

So now I'm out $300.00 plus return shipping not to mention I had to pay for shipping on the original order which I probably won't get reimbursed for

Not a happy camper. I would definitely not shop there again.
