It was my first and last time shopping from Gap. I had the worst experience ever. I placed an order with Gap online Canada, and it claimed to ship the item within 7 to 9 days. Right now, it has been over a month and I still did not receive any thing yet, because after I purchased the item, they put that the item is BACKORDERED. The store keeps changing the shipping date and last time I checked it when it should be delivered I realized that they added an extra month forward until shipping arrival!
Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before I ordered the product. I was shocked that Gap has online reviews ranging from (MEDIUM TO TERRIBLE), and the company has not done anything to clean up its image.

I ordered 5 pairs of underwear at the the Gap store, and a week later I get a notice that the pack of three are on back order? Then I received 1pair and the last pair have been stuck somewhere for weeks? I out of 5... what a joke!

I would give them a 0 star if possible. I ordered 18 items on 11/26/20.9 of them were lost in transit and showed no shipping movement since 12/2. Called Gap last week and was told I had to wait until 12/21 before they could do anything. Called today as items still had not arrived and they said they could issue me a return that would show up in 3-5 days and repurchase everything at my expense today. When speaking with a supervisor was told their company never reships items at no cost to customer. That no matter if items were damaged, missing, wrong item shipped, etc, that customer is always asked to repurchase the item(s) again as they wait for their return. Epitome of bad customer service and I will never purchase from this company again. Beware of this company.
I placed my orders with Gap on Dec 7th. They didn't even process the order until the 13th i was told and my Christmas gifts for my children will not arrive until Dec. 28, if they are not delayed again. I will return everything once it arrives, since i have to go out and shop again. I will never order from them again and hope that they are one of the stores that does not survive the pandemic.

I placed an order for a Christmas given on 11/27. The GAP used LaserShip as the shipper. Tracking information continued to just say package waiting for LaserShip to send out. Checked with LaserShip and they said they needed more information about my shipping address and had reached out to the GAP for more information. Yet no on ever reached out to me (no phone, email, etc.) and no updates provided. After checking with LaserShip final time, they informed me they RETURNED the package to the GAP. The GAP no longer has stock and would only offer a less than sincere apology and a credit. Now it is 2 weeks later and I have to start shopping for a whole new Christmas gift for this child. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!
I spoke with an employee online who said he could change my Old Navy cash into Gap cash. He gave me a code to use, but it was only a small discount. I value honesty, so I will no longer shop at Gap.
For basics like tees, sweater, jeans, this is my fav and GAP is perfect. The cost of clothing is fair. Very good customer support.
For all my basic casual like tees, sweaters, jeans, the GAP is my go to store. They have great jeans and t-shirts at a reasonable price and are very versatile in their styles and cuts. I'm a regular customer at this store, fast delivery, competitive prices and a great collection of designer clothes.
Not the best customer services. On hold two, three hours. Never respond to emails. I purchased Jeans and had a question about the size, but just got lucky that it's my size in the end, quality is good...

I had an online order ship in 3 parts. One of the packages was delivered incorrectly, UPS nor Gap were of any help, literally, when you call the Gap customer service it says "Due to the unusually high volume of calls, we are unable to respond" and then it hangs up. Their online chat is off. I went to the store and their response was "this has been happening so often and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it except to try and call". After being on hold through the Gap phone at the store for 30 minutes, I gave up. I then emailed customer service and got the same response as I did when i called.
Buying clothes should not be a second job, it is a luxury and you expect good service, or just any service at all! I am beyond disappointed that I am in limbo without the goods i purchased or a refund of the goods I purchased because I cannot speak to anyone!
I made a return on May 1st and May 5th the warehouse received my return. Since then I have been waiting for the value of $ 93.77 to be returned on my card and nothing happens. Already send several emails, I called and no one returns or answers the calls. It is a complete disregard for the consumer. Waiting for this to be resolved to cancel my account and card with GAP.
Sad, very sad. I ordered and trusted in a Company that has been around for a long time and that i trusted. I have not received any order or any communication beside the tracking number that i used to follow the arrival to my location but no package delivered and i can not get any contact person via phone, 1-800 number the local number and also sending a e-mail. Very frustrating. I dont want to be scammed for money and clothing..
I really like this store! They have a large selection in all categories, at fairly affordable prices and good quality products. So far there is always everything you need - quite fast shipment, quality in line with expectations, good price, and cheap shipment (about 2-5 dollars). I will definitely order something again. I recommend shopping in this store.
I have been shopping in Gap since 2007 and each item I bought was great quality and looks good on me. I just have to say that lately the sizes are bigger than they used to be. Like, for example I bought a jacket size Small that I normally buy and it was way too big, had to sell to a person who wears Medium.
I have been shopping online from Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy for over 8 years and very happy with their free mail returns. I like that I can go online and select the items that I want to buy and return the items that don't fit me very easily. I go online and select the items that I want to return, print the return slip and the shipping label, and return them in the same bag that arrived in. I buy suits and pants from Banana republic, pants and jeans from Gap, and shirts and sweaters from Old Navy. I am very happy with their service.
I made a purchase that still haven't arrived and it's been passed two weeks. I called they said they would ship it back out, they don't know why it's still processing. Ok that was fine. Until I found out the order won't be here til a week later. I ordered coats for my kids. It's freezing where I'm at and now they have no coats. Never experienced anything like this. Gap was one of my favorites in 2000s. However, it's more about being stylish than comfortable. So, I should admit that their clothes are good but not perfect :(
Not my favourite clothing shop anymore. The quality has become worse than before. I bought a dress for daughter and it changed color after the first wash.
