We own one of the top ranked tour companies in NYC and the service that this supplier provided to our guests was so outrageous, we cancelled our relationship. The list goes on, but they refuse to give you the travel partners details until AFTER you book and many times they will book you on a tour not even provided or blocked my the supplier... and get this, they would change the description of out tours provided to BAIT you into booking with our consent... and they provide incorrect tour locations... after 60K in bookings, we said hell no!

Dodgy - Wouldn't use again.

Booked a wine tour. Turned up at the allotted time. Was told that they left an hour earlier. Everyone else had been notified a month prior by GetYourGuide or other tour companies. I checked all communication. I definitely had not. This was our last day in Slovenia so we completely missed out. They found no evidence of letting me know and so after many emails, agreed to refund me. So i get the refund quite a while later (should have been for my partner and myself). And I have a completely random amount returned. I questioned it, and they had kept APPARENTLY the fee that it costs them to refund overseas. WOW. How is that fair? We already missed out on an experience but now I had to cop the cost. Another 11 (YES 11 I counted) emails later, I was sent the correct difference. So much trouble. So rude.

Myself and my partner booked a coach transfer when we visited Italy (Milan). The coach driver scanned out tickets and confirmed that this was the coach needed to our airport. After an 1 hour we realised that we was on the wrong coach and when we tried to explain this we was shouted out and told to find our way back. We was an an hour and a half away from our original airport so we got an uber (which costed a fortune) hoping to get there in time. However we didn't. We missed out flight and had to stay two extra days as the next available flight wasn't leaving until the day after which cost us more money plus buying another plane fare.

When we returned and I made a complaint asking for compensation for all the money spent due to being mislead by the coach people all they did was refund us £11. I will be looking to take this further as this was and is totally unacceptable. I'd advise not to travel with them if you want the security of getting to the right airport and not over spending unnecessarily like we did

Do not use GET YOUR GUIDE!
Do not use GET YOUR GUIDE! They sent the meeting location and time by text which was expected. We waited for the time to meet at the designated location which was confirmed through their own app linked to Google map. It confirmed we were at correct location. 5 minutes after the designated time to meet and no guide present I received text with different location which was half an hour away. Obviously we missed the tour. I Called company and explained the facts. Company refused to refund 104 Euro stating it did give refunds for "last minute cancellations." Went to venue, Acropolis looking for the guide and group. Explained situation to venue security and were told Get Your Guide constantly had same problem with other customers. They also said it was not a reputable company and that a lot of people have had the same complaints or experiences.
Please note: They will send bar code or QR code that looks official but it is not for admission to the venue. Therefore we had to buy tickets at the venue, another 40 Euro.
DO NOT USE GET YOUR GUIDE FOR ANY BOOKING!
Before you waste your money read the scripted responses from this untrustworthy company. You will see lack of acceptance of responsibility but most important you will see no response stating a refund will be given.
When you get defrauded by Get Your Guide or are otherwise deceived you must notify your credit card company that you dispute the charge. Give the reasons for the dispute. If the credit card company gets enough disputed charges they may eventually reject charges from Get Your Guide because of the number of disputed charges.
Get Your Guide has NEVER offered to refund the charge paid by a customer. You can confirm this fact by reading the responses to people who took the time to share their negative experiences. How many defrauded people remain silent?

Rubbish

Reichstag Berlin did not have us down on the list of visitors.We were stood round for 20 minster and luckily officials took pity on us and let us in to use the booked cafe. Keep clear of these cowboys.

I booked a special 3 hour semi-private 3 hour luxury limousine tour as a surprise for my partner. No one turned up at meeting point and telephone numbers were unobtainable. I paid £168.00 for the two of us and was devastated. Will take it much further when we get home!

I like other reviewers was abandoned after the proposed start time of my booked tour. The local supplier claimed to have cancelled the tour one week earlier, but GetYourGuide apparently knew nothing of this and we were left to sort out our own day while we wait for a refund. Won't be using them again, and I suggest you find an alternative supplier.

The absolute worst customer service on the entire planet! Agents are not truthful... bad experience! Please do your own research and don't book through a 3rd party... i made a mistake in my booking date - i contacted their partners to inform them that the date of the tour was incorrect... the person assisting me was very nice - but then she realized the tour - van could not pick us up ( as advertised) and asked if we could trave 30 minutes to a Starbucks... we said absolutely not!... Wih that being sad it was a deal breaker... we needed to cancel... called this GetYourGuide company as i was asked to do in order to get the 200.00 refund... called 5 times each time the story changed... after each call i got an email stating you can't get a refund because it's less than 24 hours, whi was the original error but was irrelevant if we couldn't get picked up... so we need to be refunded... not so easy. All they neede to do was sen an email to their partners that i booked with and honor the dang refund. Hello you can't pick us up... the ad said they pick up at all hotels in the Niagara Falls area, not true our hotel is booked in the Niagara Falls area... the Getyourguide agents 5 different agents 5 different excuses from... the partners are closed to they didn't have their number etc... each agent had a different story... what a diaster! Don't use this GetYourGuide they need to Get their Fact and make sure the advertising is accurate.

8 of us from India drove down from madrid just to see the Alhambra in Granada.We booked tickets through GYG paying 4 times the price. They cancelled last minute leaving us with no tickets as they were sold out. Horrible customer service. We travelled from India after making the bookings in advance

BEWARE THIS SCAM! I bought my 8 hour day tour for the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Schindler's Factory Tour, and came from Canada for this. I waited with another family, and NO ONE SHOWED UP. We called and were told "all we can do is cancel your booking and refund you". I then later called the office when they were open, and they tell me they didn't even buy the tickets for the tours that we paid for (I paid for mine over 1 month in advance), then they hung up on me! SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND FRUSTRATION!

Totally disappointed - ZERO customer service! First time we visited Statue of Liberty and nobody was informed of our pick up location and the direct us wrong. We lost our 11:30 booking and as soon as we got to the right location we explained to this gentlemen what happened and he made fun of us with the lady that he was talking on the phone. The shame is that this lady (named Savi) is one of the sales manager and she wasn't helpful at all... but she was all attitude and she said that we need to pay extra! What a shame... New York city 2019 and you cannot find solution to your costumers? To the people that they pay you? When your costumers have so many choices just try to keep them. Next time I will choose another company.

They took 390 euro from my card. I was promised tickets in 48 hours and was only given a confirmation but no tickets in my email. And when I called to resolve the issue that it was "too late."
Too late for what I'm here trying to use what was promised! Shame on you for taking people's monies and then providing no service or accountability.

I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN BEFORE! DONT DO THE MISTAKE OF BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY!

We recently travel to Venice and got their private gondola tour. What a disappointment! It said to be 30 minutes for $176 ( 2 people) once we got there the lady who greeted us seemed like she was on a rush, she got out print confirmation and send us on a gondola. I checked my watch it was 5:15 pm when we started and 20 minutes later we were done. It was supposed to be "30 " minutes not "20 " minutes. Besides the shortage on time the gondola driver seems not to care about us, he Stayed quiet the whole time and didn't even acknowledge us to say hello. I felt like a i was in one of those fair rides where you pay, get in and out and done. Sadly, my husband and I didn't enjoyed the ride as we thought we would. This made me very mad as we pay and didn't received the time we were supposed to get.

ADVISED: don't book your gondola trip with this company there is so many single gondola guys in every corner you go that I am sure they will make your money worth and will deliver a better experience! So many gondolas deals once in Venice
Never again with this company!

Terrible service

Paid Eur 530 for a "Private Tour" of Fontainebleau Castle in France. When we arrived, we were told the Castle was free to the public and handed headsets by our "guide." He said he couldn't give us a Private Tour, and that we would get a refund. GetYourGuide denied the refund, blaming their "local partner." There's no recourse for the customer, so I had to write this review.

A stressful day! Horrible! Lousy company! Disorganized. They say they pick you up at the hotel. At the last minute, they scored in a cafe. They arrived late at the cafe. We bought tour in English, but they put us in the last minute Spanish. Tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius. Worst experience I ever had on a trip! Group with more than 40 people. The guide Marisol was very polite and attentive, but we could not hear his explanations. The restaurant that took us there has the worst service in the world! Lucullus Ristorante and Pizzeria. I've never been so badly treated in one place. They shout to sit on the tables. They scream to talk the menu. They shout every minute. Waitresses yelled at everyone. Terrible! Rude! Do not speak English. They did not understand us. At Vesuvio, my friend lost her cell phone. She has diabetes. He needed his cell phone to measure his blood glucose. She had to go back alone with the danger of going bad. Giuse's guide gave no support. So we stayed with our friend to help. They did not explain how to get back. They did not even catch our contact. It's a lousy business. Only worries about the payment. He does not care about people. They treat us like a bunch of tourists and not like people.

BOOKED A TOUR OF ALCATRAZ FOR 50 US DOLLARS PERSON. SEEMED REASAONABLE. UNTIL YOU FIND OUT IT IS A ONLY A SAIL BY OF THE ISLAND WHICH YOU CAN DO THE SAME WITH THE FERRY FOR 15 US DOLLARS. THE YOUNG LADY AT THE TICKET COUNTER FOR BLUE AND GOLD TOURS TOLD ME THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ON THE FERRY.

I have stage 4 Terminal Cancer and arrived at 2 minutes past the time of tour. I was told I missed the tour no refunds / would not offer an alternative time. Nothing and hung up on me. I am sending letters to the CEO - will let you know what happens- also disputing charge as I did not receive service.

Looking for a tour at Vatican in Rome Italy, booked at "Getyourguide", luckily this was for 5 months from now, wanted to review my trip for planning and could not get onto the app on my iOS device. After several attempts to log in and change password I called, agent informed me you CANNOT change your password on the app! How is anyone to know that, kept getting error incorrect password. Went on their site and still could not access my account, told him to cancel the tour and I would go somewhere else.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
