My wife and I were in Ravenna because our Venice-cruise ship was actually leaving from Ravenna. Ravenna seemed to be most famous for its mosaics, so we booked the UNESCO Monuments and Mosaics Tour. After a short walk from where the cruise ship's shuttle bus dropped us off, we met our tour guide Marco near a Tourist Office. Marco skillfully guided his group of about 20 people through the city, which has an interesting mix of ancient (one thousand or more years old) churches together with a relatively modern central business district. Indeed, the mosaics are amazing, still telling their stories hundreds of years later. At the end of the tour (after three hours), Marco gave us the choice of walking back to the shuttle bus or continuing to yet another monument. We were tired, so we opted for going back to the ship. Despite our weariness, we were more than satisfied with the incredible sights that we did see.
I have used GetYourGuide on multiple continents. They find interesting activities run by local providers. The group generally consists of interesting and international travelers. I also get very clear directions on where to meet in an email the day before the tour. It's a great way to find the best activities all on one organized app/website and has been a go-to travel tool.

Just got to say what a shambles this company is my child fell sick on Monday and was unable to use my tickets for the trip remember I never used them and have not been scanned or taking off me my dob feel ill and I called 111 because taught it was covid so was told ON PHONE to give him paracetamol and keep him cool, so I missed my slot on Monday I asked for a refund or new slot and was told I needed a stamped letter from a doctor to show this shambles of a company to Clame my refund when remember I called 111 and when challenged said was to late because u need to cancel 24 hours before but I did not know my son would fall ill on Monday morning when woken but this company have treated us like criminals and simply don't care about customer my child is my priority and seams money is theirs my tickets not been used or scanned so can't see a problem but thsy just fobed me off saying a letter STAMPED from a doctor is required after I saying tickets were not used its a disgusting was to b treated and hope this company lots of bad luck disgusting reply I will post the email and and not happy I am a single dad trying my hardest and to have this lot fob me off is hurting me my kids are my world and thay just stolen fro. Me I am very disappointed and hurt
Lots of tours with them have gone well however two tours have not gone well and there is no good resolution. In both cases the Tour Guide failed to deliver what was promised and seriously disrupted holidays. At best they refund the monies for the tour which wasn't delivered but are not interested in addressing any misrepresentation by the tour operator. Further their documentation on complaint resolution is clearly designed to make this difficult. Im still arguing over a case where a tour guide failed to deliver and GetYourGuide says 'its complicated' and wants to refund half my monies whilst ignoring that what the tour said they would do and what they did are totally different. Very disappointed in their customer service whom let you hope from agent to agent, none of whom seem to have read the issue so it is like starting again and again.
Our guides gave us lots of new information about the sights. The tours were interesting and packed a lot into a short time. Sorry still traveling and don't have a lot of access to add photo.

I work in a museum in Quebec and there is a lot of false information about us on their site page. First, they charge more than the actual prices. They say that the cloakroom costs money, but it is free. They also refer to past exhibitions which are no longer presented, so people arrive at the museum disappointed. I tried to contact them via their website to inform them of these inconsistencies, but it seems that you need to have purchased a product and indicate the reference number of the purchase in order to write to them.
We have used get your guide in the past with great success. This time we had a horrible experience. We purchased a 7 day go city pass through get your guide and booked tours at Fenway Park through them. We never received our voucher for the go city pass and had to contact get your guide to get it resolved. In the process of trying to get the missing vouchers, we ended up getting charged for 2 1 day go city passes that we did not need nor requested. We were told by get your guide. That 1 tough luck it is not our issue 2 you should not have booked Fenway Park tour through them even though it is on their site. We also ended up with an extra reservation for Fenway Park that we had to pay for even though we already had a reservation for 2 already. We never have problems like this with Viator. They always provide needed vouchers and have excellent customer service. Get your guide customer support is horrible and is of little or no help when you need it. Will think hard before using them ever again. I would suggest looking for somebody like Viator to book your tours.
Used Get Your Guide to purchase a 7 days GO CITY inclusive city pass for
Boston. Never got email with barcode to be able to use the City View trolley. Had to call help center to get voucher/barcode after being denied tour. This caused us to be late to our Fenway Park Tour. Called to explain situation and they felt it was totally our problem.
Their lack of electronic communication created a monetary loss of 50.00 to us. Disappointed in their customer service and process in general.

In May 2023 I purchased a full-day tour for two people of Mycenae, Nafplion and Epidaurus in Greece from Get Your Guide, which I went on in October 2023 while staying in Athens. I also purchased tickets from Get Your Guide for the two archaeological sites at Epidaurus and Mycenae, which for my wife and I were the highlights of the tour. The tour operator in Athens did nothing wrong and their guide was very helpful. The tickets to Mycenae failed and we were refused admittance to the site. By the time the source of the problem was established, it was too late for us to purchase replacement tickets and to join our guide and fellow tour members. It was frustrating and embarrassing. Get Your Guide apparently sourced to entry tickets from a third party who was either dodgy or incompetent. It turned out that the same ticket numbers had been issued to other people who used them in September 2023. After several emails dealing with different people from Get Your Guide, each time asking the same questions over and over, we received a refund for the tickets, but that was inadequate compensation for wasting half a tour and sitting on a bus waiting for our fellow travellers to return. Get Your Guide failed to take responsibility for their key part in this fiasco, their response was disappointing and we'll now never get to see Mycenae. There are numerous online travel providers and I would not recommend using Get Your Guide.

When I ran into issues with one of their suppliers - Supertours, they said they have no right with respect to the safety standards of an activity as they don't set it. But at the same time, they have a say when it comes to determining whether a customer gets a refund or not for that activity. It is really confusing what they are as a company. As I see it, get your guide has no standards with respect to their suppliers. Get your guide will allow anyone to post a trip regardless of the safety standards and they just want to make money out of it. They also disabled the option of me leaving a review for their supplier - Supertours adn didn't bother to help when I had issues with the itinerary and the supplier. It shows the lack of ethics in the company and how they treat their customers when they run into problems.
I am from Southern California.This is my first time to book dinner cruise with getyourguide as couple. I booked on Oct 10 and the morning after I decided to cancel due to the food offered wasn't that good and myt wife didn't like it. They had been dragging days through emails as well as their getyourguide chat apps and thin gs never resolved, finally after almost 10 days they told me that the trip cost wasn't refundable! Even the policy stated free refundable or deducted 20% but it never happend. This is not a reliable service company. Anyone before booking with them, please be aware about the poor services. I already disputed with my credit card bank.

Es war ein gut organisierter Ausflug rund um den Berg Athos mit seinen vielen Klöstern. Der deutschsprachige Guide war sehr gut zu verstehen.
To my dismay, my extensive supporting review last evening was wiped out by the time clock on this site. Bottom line, briefly? The guide was excellent, a real person, fluent in English. The tour was excellent, taking us to Transylvania with good stops (three, plus the odd comfort stop) with history and context provided by the guide. On the way back to Bucharest, our bus had a mechanical problem. We were diverted to a train in Bresov, arranged by the guide and her management. Tickets prepaid. Guide took us to the right platform, on time, 15 min before departure. Once back in Bucharest, Uber rides (to our respective hotels) were arranged and pre-paid. Excellent treatment. By the way, do try the bean soup (in a bread bowl!) and local wine traditional in Romania:~)
Really nice trip, with beautiful nature and fantastic views along the coast. Can really be recommended. Our guide Sergio was welcoming and friendly, and tailored the trip completely according to our wishes and skills. 5 stars from here

I can't say enough good things about get your guide. They really came through on all my excursions and transfers booked through them. There customer service line is excellent and were always very helpful and understanding.
I accidentally booked an excursion on wrong date my fault they were able to cancel (last minute) and gave me a credit for future booking. They didn't have to do anything but they were really nice and made it work being that it was so last minute they couldn't book a other day during my stay. I appreciate all there help and patience. Travel can sometimes be hectic and they are really there for you.
