Contraté con mucha anticipación un crucero por el Nilo el cual sería debitado directamente de mi tarjeta el dia 2 de octubre (dia en el que volaba a Egipto). Por la mañana me llega una comunicación que la tarjeta había sido rechazada; al instante probé con otra tarjeta, también fue rechazada. Llamé a Get Your guide y me dijeron que yo tenía problema con la banca; con una es una posibilidad, pero con las dos? Raro. Estando en mi escala en Roma llamé a un familiar pidiendo que me pague el crucero, su tarjeta también fue rechazada. Evidentemente, el problema era de ellos. Entonces ingresé a la pagina de get your guide y busqué nuevamente el crucero, cual era el tema? Costaba el doble. Entonces no era que las tres tarjetas tenían problemas, sino que el precio había cambiado y bloquearon el pago. Yo me encontré en Egipto, con el crucero cancelado a ultimo momento, sin hoteles, sin lugar a donde ir, sin excursiones. Una locura, la peor esperiencia de mi vida.
I will given a meeting location when I booked the boat tour. When we arrived the location seemed suspicious so we called the toll free number. They gave us a different location and we had to run across Seville Spain but arrived in time. No one ever came to meet us at thee specified location and we did not know which boat as there were several in the area. They refused to refund us. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE LOSERS.

I've a bad experience using GetYourGuide. I booked a tour in Cairo through GetYourGuide with an operator called Ramassise Tours. I also made payment through the GetYourGuide. The tour operator contacted me directly for an add-on lunch and I paid them directly for it. The tour operator knew that this is against the rules. My tour was cancelled by GetYourGuide at the last minute and I had to spend so my time during my holiday fighting with them to get my refund so I could rebook the tour. I almost didn't get to do the tour I had travelled for. Eventually I did get my refund and the reason for the cancellation. Ramasside is still refusing to refund me for the lunch that I paid to them directly.
Ramasside knew that the agency would likely cancel the tour and continued to harass me on WhatsApp to rebook the tour with them directly. I refused and I'm still waiting for my refund for the lunch.
GetYourGuide should remove these scammers called Ramasside from their App. I booked through them hoping I could be assured that I'm booking with legit tour operators who would not misuse their access to my personal information.

Great options of local providers and we're happy with the local guides we went with on our tours. We booked 7 which is a mixed of guided and tickets (3 in Rome, 2 in Naples and 2 in Florence) and we're happy with all 7 of these. Only thing that can probably be better in terms of pricing is the St Peter's Basilica Dome tour as it turned out to be a bit on expensive side vs DIY or what the tour actually is.
We visited Barcelona in September and purchased tickets for Casa Batlo, Sagrada Familia, Park Guell tours as well as all day trip to Tossa del Mar. Each visit was clearly explained online with detail (meeting point, what is included, length of visit, guided or not). It is worth spending a little more for the First Entry Ticket to the Casa Batlo beating the crowds that come later in the day. The audio guide allows you to imagine how the Batlo family lived and points out key facts of the lighting and airing that Gaudi created. The Sagrada Familia tour was with a knowledgeable guide, Juan Miguel, who provided facts and the history of the construction that is still ongoing. Park Guell is on your own, allowing you to spend time you needed in the different sections. And last but not least the boat trip to Tossa del Mar was not watched, allowed us plenty of time to visit a town along the way (Lloret del Mar) and plenty of time to climb to the top of the castle and have a delicious meal on your own in beautiful Tossa del Mar. Book with confidence!
Avoid booking through this company at all costs, unless you want to be disappointed! I booked in advance tickets for the Colosseum tour for my dads birthday with my family, we flew to Rome specifically for this trip, only to be told a few hours before the tour that it had been cancelled, due to a "political event" which didn't happen or interrupt any of the tours going on, despite us seeing groups from the same company going straight into the venue in front of us.
Customer service were rubbish and unhelpful, and gave us no alternative or option for us to attempt to turn round this already awful disappointing day. All I received was an email to say the tour had been cancelled with no actual reason. Shocking, you put faith into these companies (and pay extra for the service) to guarantee bookings, and to be told it has been cancelled with no clear reason is completely unacceptable, and has ruined our family trip to Rome!
Getyourguide is not reliable at all. I experienced issues with them - I paid an activity, they did not make themselves responsible for errors included around the location on the website and then it was too late to cancel. I lost my money and the worst - when I published my public opinion (not good one of course), they deleted it! They only have 4 and 5 stars on feedbacks received because they delete the opinions when they do not like. Do NOT trust them anymore. This is a completely lack of transparency and honesty.
We were clearly advised on the website a price in Aud but were then charged the same figure in euro. Very disappointing & would advise all customers to monitor very closely. I will not use them again as they were not at all understanding of our situation & provided absolutely no compensation of any amount
Please note that all this company provides is a line hold. They have a guide that shows up at 7:00 AM and says "the company made a mistake and did not send me the tickets". This is a flat out lie. They are doing what you can do on your own and that is standing in line. They attempt to get in the front, BUT TICKETS ARE NOT GUARANTEED! If they are not in line early enough and the daily allotment runs out, they will not get tickets and you will not see Auschwitz.
So my advice is for you to get there at 7:00 AM or before and wait in line yourself and get your ticket and guarantee your good time.

Make changes to booking dates without consulting, and then claim they have a one change policy? Really disappointing, had to purchase new tickets at the site. Avoid get your guide, alot of tours we went on all complained they have ongoing issues with them.
Very good trips and you are told everything that you need to know,the only problem that I had was zakopane trip i specifically booked knowing that I would be picked up outside my hotel but the day before I got a messsge to say that my pick up was a few streets away and it would be 25 minutes earlier,I could of understood if it was a big coach but it was only a minibus but apart from this the trips were well worth the money
I love Get your Guide, it covers lots of cities. I recently booked three trips in Edinburgh and everything worked out great until the last morning. The driver and bus had not arrived by the 8.30am meeting time, so I checked in the app for help, there was a "call" option so I called and the tour company's office told me that the driver had to call in to the garage to check the bus. I'm all in favour of having a safe bus, even if it means a delay.
We travelled as a transfer from Porto to Lisbon. It was all just perfect the driver/guide was just great interesting and helpful.We stopped at three cities all very different.A great way to get from one place to another. Certainly use you again if the situation requires.Better than spending the day in an airport.

Museums in Prague and Paris would not accept the vouchers on my Wallet (iPhone); both stating they do not do business with them. The worst part was the failure of the tour company to live up to their promise of a later delay from Giverney. Due to a late start on the company's fault time was supposed to be extended at the end of the trip. I walked into the parking lot at 7 minutes past one and the bus went right by me. I then had to find my own way back to Paris on my own dime. A very troubling experience.
I cancelled one of my trips 2 days before (within their guidelines) with the provider then on their app. When I never got my refund I reached out and they said my cancellation did not go through. They would call the provider to verify. They then wrote back saying they can't reach their provider so they are denying my claim. Can't reach their provider? I reached them in one call! Never have I heard of anything like this! Avoid them at all costs!
