The HVAC went out. Nest sent me a link to Handy to have someone come check it out. I clicked. I scheduled an appointment (which was four days away with no AC in 90+ weather). The appointment was confirmed. I sat in a hot house waiting for help. The day before the booking, I got a text message saying the "pro" rescheduled me for two weeks later.

Like, yeah, okay. I'm dying in this heat but I can white knuckle it for two more weeks. I cancelled. But Handy wouldn't let me tell them why I cancelled. So I'm telling you.

Norman arrived promptly and assembled two end tables and a coffee table. They look great! I'm very pleased with Handy!

The 1st appointment was a no-show. The 2nd was a no-show. They arrived 2 hours later. No communication.

I hired Alexer to assist me on a rush furniture assembly project. He arrived 15 minutes early, was ready to get right to work, and was qualified and professional in his work! He was a gem to work with and I would definitely want to work with him again!

I scheduled an appointment for a playground piece to be put together, they canceled 2 hours before they were supposed to handle the task. I had sent pictures of how far I had gotten done with it, they suddenly didn't have a tech who could do it. Not like it was a surprise I sent pictures. If we have to cancel within 24 hours so should they! Ridiculous and the heavy sighing on the phone because I demanded a refund instead of rescheduling was ridiculous! I wouldn't go through them again if they were paying me for their services.

Jonathan confirmed our appointment a couple of days prior which I really appreciated. He showed up on time and completed the project beautifully.
I will definitely hire him again.

I heard about Handy.com from a co-worker & was pleased it was part of Angi.com. My tech Ronnell was excellent & tackled my entire to-do list of 6 small tasks in 1 hrs. He showed 10 mins early & was courteous & professional. Highly recommend this reasonably priced service provider.

They were scheduled just 1 day to assemble a gazebo. That was a 2 day project and they came back the 2nd day and were here the whole time. Project was complete and they cleaned up after they were done, on both days. Great job! Thank you Shawn and Marcus!

Tyrie assembled my metal storage cabinet expertly. All the parts are aligned perfectly. He was on time and got right to work with all the necessary tools. Would definitely use again..

Absolutely the worst service I have ever tried to use! I took off an unpaid day from work and scheduled furniture assembly 10 days before the appointment, Got an email 1 hr. Before appointment that the handyman's "Uncle Died". Cancelled right away! Be careful! They are deceptive. You need to cancel 48 hours before appointment not 24 in order to receive refund. I could kick myself for not reading the reviews.

I used Handy for my house cleaning and Kyra did an excellent job. She was polite and professional. She was thorough and her work was great. Our floors never looked so good. She were impressed with her work.

Very thorough and Meticulous with every aspect of the job...He even noticed it was just a little off, level wise, and re-adjusted it again before leaving!

All our dealings have been great! Would say if you need work done and don't have the time.

Beware - this outfit offer an introductory offer then traps you in to a series of bookings with the price going up to ridiculous levels. They certainly don't pass on the fees or charges to the person diligently performing the job. I regret engaging this deceptive operation and plan to cancel it as soon as I cancel the payment details they have on file.

This is the biggest joke of a company that I have ever dealt with. They send people who know absolutely nothing about what they are doing. Pay them nothing. They send one man out to put up a 10X12 awning which we brought from BJ's. One man could not even lift the material up by themself. When we call and explained this problem they agreed and would send another man to work. He would be there at 10 a.m. on Monday. We waited until after 11 and the first man showed up but only one man to do the job. I wrote them a letter and gave examples of their poor service and We immediately went to the bank and cancelled the $383.00 change on our bank credit card. They sent us a letter stating they were going to take the charge off our credit card like they were doing us a favor. What a poor business run by very uneducated staff. They are educated ok, to get money for nothing out of people.
