I bought a corset top from Mistress Rocks in the House of CB store in Westfield Stratford, I had had it on for around 20mins, arrived at my destination and the boning was all popping out, I had to go around for the day with boning coming out of my top. VERY BAD QUALITY. I took it back to the store at the earliest opportunity (2 days after purchase) - they would not issue a refund in-store, they said they would send it off and I would be contacted with outcome and options, I was NEVER contacted and just sent a new top. Why would I want a replacement of a top that is the WORST QUALITY, I wouldn't even expect Primark clothes to break within 20mins of wear. This top was £50. I have contacted them repeatedly for a refund and they keep ignoring me/saying it's not possible.
House of CB is the WORST and the customer service is awful.
I checked with a tape measure with my partner. The order was placed and the dress arrived with a huge import fee (because they use ups, which has lots of extra costs).
The dress is cut any way, and does not correspond at all to the measurement on the site. About 3cm less and the cup was the wrong size compared to the order. We sent the order back at OUR COST, and they refused to accept the return parcel because of English customs charges.
I never get a refund and they ask to send back the dress at OUR cost again...
I ordered an item from House of CB on the 9th August, 2023 which was in the sale (and it did state that sales items could only be returned for store-credit and not a refund). When the skirt arrived, it had a lot of thread caught and stitched around the zipper which prevents the zip from being able to be fully pulled down and used, and therefore the skirt was faulty as the zip did not work as it should have. For this reason, I contacted House of CBs customer service team and they asked me to send it to them for inspection.
They then contacted me to say that there were no faults and only issued store credit. I have since contacted them re-pointing out all of the incorrect stitching which stops the zipper being able to be pulled down as far as it should be able to go (therefore making the opening to the skirt smaller, and therefore I can't get it on).
They then still denied that anything was faulty with the product and said "the stopper in your picture is part of the design, not a fault in this case", which is incorrect as it is clearly a sewing machine error that has got around the zipper somehow.
The product is 100% faulty and the customer service team have been extremely unhelpful and dishonest. In the photograph I shared with them, including an arrow to the issue I wanted to point out, they referred to the complete wrong part of the item and photo.
I ordered online and the dress I received was great quality. Their are lots of scam websites so make sure you get the right one. I think a lot of reviews may have ordered from the wrong website.
I mailed back a dress I bought due to it being too big, wanting to exchange it for a smaller size. I didn't hear back for two weeks until I e-mailed them asking about the status of my return. Then, they deigned to inform me that my dress was out of stock. To be honest, it felt like they wanted to pocket my money and not say anything. But since I had bought an item on sale, I could only get store credit for my refund. So I put the store credit towards the Tatiana dress instead. I received it - the seams were crooked and the material felt like garbage. Not wanting to go through the hassle, and already feeling sketchy vibes from the company, I decided to suck it up. At least the dress looked flattering. I wore it TWICE. The second time, the zipper split open. This dress wasn't even too tight on me, it was just made with the cheapest materials possible. For 225$, I got to attend a wedding shower with half my body exposed because they couldn't bother to use a decent zipper. I ended up having to cut myself out of the dress with scissors because the slider was stuck at the top, despite none of the zipper being zipped anymore. Thanks House of CB!
I have ordered two corset maxi dresses separately with house of CB and my experience wasn't as bad as some of the reviews. Both arrived within a few days. Haven't dealt with return so not sure about the customer service.
Both dresses are very pretty and they look exactly like the website photos. The Cara dress is very comfortable and looks expensive however the boning in the corset might poke through the top after a few wears. The fabric isnt stiff enough to keep the boning in place.
The Olivette dress is made of this beautiful satin fabric, but it is actually impossible to zip it by yourself. The zip gets stuck at the waistline. This dress is only suitable for someone who has a small waist and curvy bottom. Very hard to pull the dress up if you need to use the bathroom.
Overall imo the fabric and design are very nice, but the quality control on small details and the practicality are the main problems.
They do Not respond, i returned two dresses for 466 EUR they didn't respond or refund the amount. I have send zig mails.Betrüger!
I received a robe/wrap as a gift from this company. It was very poorly made and had snags. I wore it a couple of times and the entire front was full of huge snags. The weave was way too loose. I contact the company. I sent photos. I never received any response from them. I can not contact them by phone. The robe was expensive and definitely poor quality.
The dress I ordered was beautiful in cut, the fabric was nice and it was true to size, unfortunately for $225, I expect my dress to not be see through. The dress is composed of only two layers of chiffon, with no lining as is customary with this fabric. Underwear is completely visible, I now have to purchase new undergarments for the wedding I ordered it for in hopes to minimize noticeability, as I do not have time to return it. I would have been happy to pay this price for such a beautiful dress, but this is a large error in dress making and selling. If an item is transparent, houseofcb should be responsible enough to let consumers know at the price point it is at.
I would like to share my experience, I was afraid to order it after reading reviews here, but dresses are beautiful, quality is amazing, sizes are true to size based on their table size guide, and I haven't have a problem with them answering my messages or tracking my package.
So I order one floral long dress with size S, and white dress with adjustable corset size M (just because I read reviews). Honestly I wish to have both of them in size S, but white dress has adjustable corset which saved the situation.
Dresses don't have any smell, they are clean, quality amazing, harnesses don't fall.
So in reality I am very happy that I made my order and did not pay attention to the reviews. Because I guess it's hate reviews or somebody somehow got bad experience. But everything that I read here was untrue to my experience.
And by the way I did my order to Colombia to Chia. And I got my order in 3 business days. That is wow!
So if somebody have doubts if to order it, for sure do that. All my family loved the way I look in dresses and how they look.
Dont but from from this store or you will be paying major return shipping fees
The problem is theyre sizes are all over the place and they do not cover return shipping so you're supposed to just guess or be a mind reader

I spent $175 on a dress and we received the wrong order. There was no return label no customer service number. No one responds to emails. This company is awful AVOID at all costs. I have sent numerous emails and no one responds.

Je commande une robe qui me revient à 300€ avec la TVA. La livraison est prévue 10j après, sans surprise je ne la reçois pas dans les délais.
La robe fait des vas et viens par ci par là. Finalement, je la reçois UN MOIS après la commande.
Tout ce temps, je contacte le service client par e-mail, via les réseaux sociaux etc…Mais tu sens bien qu'après avoir encaissé votre argent, le reste n'est plus leur souci: on ne te répond pas, te répond très tardivement ou des réponses très je m'enfoutiste.
Dernière surprise au moment de la réception après ce beau mois d'attente, on me facture les frais de douane (ce qui est normal) + la TVA de 55€ que j'avais déjà payé à house of cb à la commande.
J'ai contacté l'entreprise pour au moins me faire rembourser cette TVA payée en double mais à date aucune réponse.
Franchement fuyez cette marque, ils n'ont aucun professionnalisme et veulent uniquement faire du cash au dépit de la satisfaction client!
Bought a dress listed as white and shown as white and when we received it was a blush pink. They would not refund shipping either way so we were out $42. Took over a week to receive a partial refund. We will not be purchasing from them again and will be telling anyone about their terrible customer service policies
I bought a $280 dress from House of CB and when I received it, it smelled heavily of body odor in the armpit area. Like, I could NOT unsmell it. This dress was far too expensive and difficult to clean for me to accept this kind of fault. I asked for a shipping label to send it back so I can exchange it for the same exact dress, but one without any odor. I was told I have to pay the $20 in shipping to send it back, and then I'd be refunded for it. After multiple emails and about 10 days later, the company submitted my refund for the dress and then told me that I can't exchange it for the same dress because the dress is now sold out. Then, to make things worse, they said they did not smell any odor on the dress that I received therefore I do not get my $20 shipping fee refunded. Why would I make up the odor smell just to send back the dress and have them send me the same exact dress?! I have begged to speak to a manager over the phone, and I was told there is no customer service over the phone, so my only way of communication is through emails that are not responded to. Terrible customer service for a company that promotes such high quality product, I'll never buy from them again!
I bought trousers and a corset top. Each piece about $150. The trousers are good quality, I'll give them that. The corset? My god. For what they charge, you'd expect this to hold its worth. Think again. After ONE night wearing this corset top, for maybe 4-5 hours, the strap broke off. In most cases that happens when a garment might be too small and just gives out. Nope. Not the case. The corset I bought was actually a little loose on me and the straps were definitely too loose, would fall down occasionally off my shoulders. Their return policy is absurd so I'm keeping it and paying for a tailor to fix it. Bottom line - not worth it.
I ordered 4 dresses from house of cb, 2 dresses for an event and 2 dress as gifts for my friends, only 3 items arrived, 2 of them had clear defects, the fabric was pulled and there were sewing issues on the other ones, 3rd dress they sent me the wrong size, and 4th dress was nowhere to be seen. I sent them detailed pics of all the issues and showed that all the dresses had the pink ribbon attached and all tags to prove it's never been worn and exactly how I recieved them.
I emailed asking to return for a refund, they demanded for my PASSPORT and utility bills, and claimed that they won't be able to help me unless I provide them these info. THEY REFUSED TO BACK DOWN EVEN AFTER I REPLIED MANY TIMES STATING HOW INAPPROPRIATE AND UNCOMFORTABLE IT WAS.
Now this is a breach of privacy and crosses a boundary for customers safety, I don't believe it's ever appropriate for a ecommerce company that i just spent $1400 OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY to ask for a government ID.
Not to mention reading so many negative reviews on here and on their socials of other customers being sent faulty items or them withholding refunds from their customers even after they shipped the items back.
Please don't waste your money here, their campaigns are so beautiful but their service is disgusting and company model is just money hungry. Trust me you will regret purchasing from here, listen to all the reviews warning you on here and steer FAR from this company.
Next delivery is actually 3 days after and cost to return postage minimum £9!
I ordered a corset midday on a Saturday with next day delivery £5.99.
The parcel did not come Sunday (as expected) but neither the Monday. It came mid afternoon Tuesday.
As it came too late I went to the post office to return it just to find out it would be minimum of £9 to return for something that wasn't my fault.
Apparently, For a weekend or Monday delivery you have to order by 4:30pm Friday with next day delivery. Be careful as This is not stated when selecting delivery options - only when you click delivery and returns info in the small text at the bottom of the webpage.
When contacted by their customer service team, they are very careful at playing on words - as long as the item came next day to them dispatching (they dispatch 2 days after order) you are not eligible for a delivery refund. Free delivery comes 4 days so you will be better doing such; next day is really 3 days after!
Needless to say I will not be shopping with this company again.

Long story short I received my dress and the dress is lacking. I'm really upset as given the price I expected that of higher quality. I ordered the dress 2x to try to remedy the issue but the problem is the construction of the dress. All I am asking is for customer service to provide a prepaid return label because I've already lost money on this dress trying to fix it when the problem is due to the craftsmanship of the item. Customer service is giving me a hard time. This dress is my size but dress is ill fitting due to integrity of the item.
House of CB has some scam going where they deny refunds for returns by stating that the item had "irregularities" without any proof or explanation.
I returned a wedding dress after trying it on once. I immediately repackaged it to ensure it stayed protected. After $200 shipping (they do not provide free returns) and having the dress in their possession for over a week, they now claim the dress has irregularities (I have no idea what that means). What is even more concerning is that they did not tell me this until I reached out several times. I know the dress was in perfect condition. This is very scary to be defrauded so blatantly.
