Despite good intentions, the electronic job search is weighted against older career oriented job seekers. I knew that if I could just get in front of someone, I'd be in the running. The tips, practice opportunities and encouragement from Interview Success was invaluable. You still have to do the leg work, practice the skills and put yourself out there. It's worth the time and investment in my experience. I am happier in my work than I have ever been.
Alan has found a way to really help people. My thanks to him and best to all out there searching! Take advantage of the help offered. It's worth it!

Pay attention to every information given by Alan Carniol and his team.
Relax and enjoy the introductory session which is the cartoon part. Always had that in mind. In fact, that was really all i needed to have a successful and interesting interviewing time and felt like a winner.

I strongly recommend Interview Success. There is so much more to being a member of Interview Success that I did not even realize would be offered. I was so fortunate to stumble upon Interview Success Formula. At 50 years old, I had a need to reinvent myself and start a new career. I had held my job in my previous career for 13 years, hadn't been to an interview since and I didn't know the first thing about interviewing in the new technological world. I had been in mu most current role for 9 years. It was really helpful to use the worksheets and follow the process when interviewing. It made me more confident and had a good understanding as to what I should do in the interview. Even though I still had similar problems (talking too much and too long), I know it and make a conscious effort to be succinct and crisp in my answers.

The self-assessment was very helpful as it gave you a place to start in a positive way, working from your strengths. I hope that I am on the home stretch and will find a position better suited to my strengths.
