I previously had a subscription to the Doki Doki Crate right before the pandemic affected shipping worldwide in the spring of 2020, and I still ended up getting both of my boxes with no problem once they were able to find an alternate shipping method. I love all the items I got (I still use my Rilakkuma spinning pen organizer every day for work!) and thought the price was well worth it, but needed to cut down on spending at the time. I'm looking forward to receiving the March 2022 box now that I have more room in my budget!
Japan Crate is worth it! It's a different experience every month! You get to try many types of snacks and flavors from Japan. I look forward to my crate every time because I get to try different flavor kit kats. Some of the snacks are really good and some…are different, but I love to try everything regardless. If you are looking to get a taste of Japan and their snacks, try Japan Crate! It is worth a try honestly!
This is an excellent Japanese snack box subscription. It's not inexpensive, but the quality of the snacks has been first rate. I subscribed for 6 months and first crate arrived today. 5 more remaining months to collect. For the first time order, Japan crate never disappoint me with the result. It always new and surprise me more and more. Lots of different types, flavors, and styles. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a monthly box of different Japanese snacks to sample.
I bought a noudle crate in February and now it has arrived with only 4 noudles for 50 euro and i have to pay toll aswell for 22 euro?!?! $#*!ing kidding me?! I want my money back for this! This is ridicioulus! Bunch of scammers! Give me my money back! Not paying 50 $#*!ing euro for four noudles wtf! It says 8-10 in the description on your website…!
And another 22 euro apparently for import to the delivery firm! So that is over 700 danish crowns almist a 100 euro i have wasted on this sh*t how can you live with yourself with this scam! You dont tell anything to people about paying toll for the crate aswell! This is bull$#*!! $#*! this firm.
The best box subscription! I really love this. I love the different foods that are in each box monthly and how they go so well with the seasons. Great way to try authentic Japanese snacks! Sometimes they're even branded with popular anime! Worth the price with fast shipping for the Premium crate. Its a great choice indeed. Thanks Japan Crate.
I finally receive my last crate out of the 3 crates I ordered since December. I waited for the last crate for so long and I though im not going to receive it anymore. Glad that their customer support is not missing any reply in my inquiries and nagging about the tracking. Customer support gave me hope. So now since I got all my crate, the overall experience of receiving Japan crate is absolutely amazing. It was pretty good. Satisfaction guaranteed. The items are in best quality. They really put effort and detailed attention in every bits and pieces of the crate. I like Japan in general, especially anime (not a weeb tho), and japancrate basically Japan compressed in a box, so it's really cool. Will subscribe again when shipping is back to normal. Still grateful with the service. :)

Hello, Japan crate! First of all let me say thank you for sending over my crate in 1 piece. Moving forward, why I love Japan Crate? Even do I can't buy a Crate, as my life still depend with my mom^^. My mom gifted me a crate and I really love that they include exclusive Japanese anime themed candies and also games! I hope one day I can buy my own and taste those delicious candies again and again^^ That's all thank you for creating this crates (^^)! Love you!
The boxes are lovely, the products are really cute... but the shipping and delivery are terrible.
I suscribed quarterly last year. I got two great boxes, but then, they switched to another delivery service... and since then I got nothing.
The girls in their Customer Support Service replied the boxes would be resent... nothing... I paid for another three boxes... and still nothing.
I decided to cancel my suscription. I see they still have lovely products... but it is not worth paying for sth you're not getting. I guess it has to do with the international shipping and customs.
If you're in Japan, perhaps there is not a big issue with the delivery service and you'll get these lovely kawai products.
Received my first premium box. Japan Crate delivers! Always happy with the random assortment of yumminess. Everything tastes great and like the flavor it says. Our whole family enjoyed sampling everything. Very good products, order filled efficiently, delivered promptly as DHL tracking promised, and all arrived in proper condition. Could not be happier! My boyfriend gifted me with a 3 month subscription for my birthday. I'm so in believably happy with my Doki Doki Crates that I received. The items are all adorable. My November crate arrived late but else came quickly after for the last 2 months. I love snuggling up to the plushies, using the kitchenware for cute meals, and just having unique items no one else I know has. I feel like a kid playing with the toys. I plan on getting my own subscription instead of a gifted one soon! Really thankful with Japan Crate. Its so kawaii.
Japan Crate is exactly what they say it is. Fun snacks from Japan, that you probably never tried before. I have really enjoyed it with my kids, and the always extremely kawai packets that the candy arrive in is extra fun.
Be advised, that in certain regions, you might be required to pay VAT or other additional expenses. Not the fault of Japan Crate though, and I personally haven't been charged extra here in Denmark.
My favorite snack? Anything with watermelon. Why don't we use that flavor more, here in Denmark?

I order my crate 11.11.2021 so I can get it for my girlfriend as Christmas present and as you guessed, I write this because is passed more than 50 days. I contacted them because I did not get my order and requested my money back and yes, they don't refund anything. Stay away from them.
I ordered the box just for 3 months, because I thought when it'll arrive it's gonna be really small box, so I don't want to be disappointed. Well, even though my January box was so late. As I think they got some issues with the shipping courier. I am in constant email with their customer support and they actually explained everything and letting me know that boxes will arrive late due to Japan Post canceled their service with them. But then they ship it to DHL and I am pretty much happy with it as I have tracking number. Hope they send all my remaining crates to DHL. To cut the story short, I waited for my tracking to populate. I really don't mind waiting as long as it will arrive. And now, I just received my box and I'm actually surprised as they put lots of stuff in the box and for the price it's really good, and I am really amazed + you get a bonus in my box. After I collect all the box, then I will definitely subscribe back.
I am very happy with my order. I find the prices mostly reasonable for getting Japan goodies in the US. I love the snack box. The little red box is so catchy and amazing. Got my Premium crate just on time for Christmas. Delivery time is tolerable despite the hassle of delayed crate. After all, I still receive the crate. No drama, just be patience. I trust Japan crate and I will continue to order!
Worst customer experience ever!
I had ordered the Japan Crate Premium box on 28-Oct-2021 and it got delivered on 13-Dec-2021 which is almost 7 weeks long to deliver.
The sad part is that out of 7 weeks, the order was in transit from Japan to India for only 4 days (shipped on 09-Dec-2021) and rest of the time it was sitting in their warehouse because of carelessness from Japan Crate team.
The worst part of all, the Japan Crate team were not even bothered about the order and only when I started following up continuously for my order is when they realized that they had made a mistake of ignoring the shipment in some corner of the warehouse.

Is the support team even taking up this issue with warehouse/courier personnel?
6 weeks have passed since the order was placed and the shipment has still not left the warehouse/seller's storage.
If the shipment has been lost/misplaced can you at-least send a new shipment from November/December collection? Why is this so difficult to understand and act on priority for Japan Crate?

Japan crate has a great selection of crates. If you love snacks, you go for the Premium. That's what I did. Ordered 2 Premium boxes for me and for my friend as a gift. They package the merchandise very carefully. Their prices are very competitive. Their website is very pleasant to navigate. Crates arrive fast and very quick. My best friend is super happy. Great gift.
