I have been doing business with JTV for over 10 years. I recently made a purchase which the company cancelled the order due to an address confusion. They were happy to replace the order for me with a price increase. No customer service matching the original price. Didn't realize it was such a problem to accomodate the consumer. No problem will find somewhere else to shop. No wonder the company has such a low rating.
My fiancé ordered a ring as a gift to me and had it shipped to my home. Turns out, JTV will only ship to the billing address. But the site doesn't say that. The order was placed and the money taken out of his account. They didn't send him a message to inform him or try and contact him- so we were shocked when only the box arrived. Now there will be another delay as the ring has to be shipped to my man- and then he will have to repackage it and ship it again to me. Make your policies clear when ordering. We will not be using this site again.

JTV advertised online and on TV a small flower style Tanzanite ring for $19.99 free shipping. The TV presentation showed many of the rings, all were light lavender to light blue colored stones. The online advertisement showed a ring with light blue stones. The two rings I purchased arrived and instead of light lavender stones, both rings had clear stones. I returned the two rings, asking for the return postage cost to be waived. Customer Service continues to say color is not guaranteed. Customer Service suggested I just put the rings in a drawer, to give as a gift in the future. Customer Service suggested that Tanzanite is mined out, so...and never completed that sentence. Customer Service offered 10% off a future purchased of $30 or more. Customer Service refused to deal with the issue of advertised light lavender - light blue stones that were clear stones. The resolutions offered don't solve the trust issue - that I can no longer expect to received a reasonable facsimile of what is advertised! I understand colored gemstone jewelry will be within a range of color...but clear? Until Jewelry Television can offer some range of color identification in their presentation, and in the online advertisements, I will not be purchasing any longer. Sadly I will have to back away from this 30 year relationship. Bracelet, broke after a few times of wearing. Rings, stone falls out, I am not going to even watch JTV anymore. Not buying anything from them because I work hard for my money, and cannot afford to give it to them. I am very careful with my jewelry and yet to have it break. I only wear it to work (in an office). I do not put it in chemicals, or wear when I am cleaning. I gently wear it and to have this happen. Not worth it, I am done with JTV

Ordered a silver chain broke the 4th time I wore it. Figured no big deal wasn't that expensive. I was going to try some higher quality diamond earrings. But say gold. Then they have that Rhodium in them. Cheap stuff that will turn you green. Can not wear costume jewerly can wear stearling for short periods at a time

When I first got my little band, it was smaller than I thought and diamonds aren't the greatest quality. However I've gotten a lot of compliments and the way they mounted the ring it gets a lot of light. The price was around 290.00 so not going to fuss. Now when I ordered a silver dome ring in blue, white and champagne Diamond it was smaller than a size 8. But it's so beautiful and I knew what it was when I got it it's rhodium over silver so it may need to be dipped in a year or so. Really depends on your wear and also you can't wash dishes using certain soaps and bleach. So what I do is take it off to do my dishes or anything that may harm the stones or the metal. This is my 4th purchase from JTV, and not bad at all and I didn't purchase protection plan this time. My ABSOLUTE favorite is my Tsavorite Ring I purchased my self for my Birthday, it is beautiful. My Mother passed away and was a estate jewelry specialist and she would have approved…well not my cloudy wt 14k flower band due to the diamond quality. But over all it's been a lovely experience with Customer service and online service. Will be ordering in the future. Do your home work and really choose wisely so that you get what you want.

Beware of their changing policies without notifying you! I am deeply disappointed in the lack of communication with them! I was impressed with my initial order. I received it quickly, but when I placed another order, the price was increased $100. I thought it was on waitlist but as a first time buyer, their was some confusion. They did not appear to want to keep me a customer. I placed the order with a supervisor and another online order within 1/2 hour later. They brag about sending out the order within 10 hours. I checked the status and had to call them 17 hours later to find out my order was put on hold because I sent a gift to a relative which was a different address! I received nothing to know that it was held by their Consumer Protection division aka "Fraud!" The two items totaled aproximately $200 on my credit card. I was asked by their representative, did my credit card company know I was sending items to another adddress! This is 2023, how dare they question who and where I send the items to!

I was trying to find some information about an issue i had with them and one employee told me 3 different things and i questioned him on this he hung up on me. I ended up talking to 2 other people one a supervisor and both told me different things and noone seems to know what they are doing. I will never do business and let my cutomers know about them as i also have a huge company and would of advertised for them and i told the supervisor this and he could care less. I guess they dont need customers.

Though some of our finest quality one only gemstones, like those in our Vault and President's Collection, do often come with a lab report that details the properties specific to that stone such as color and cut, for example. The reason for this is because we most often purchase gemstones in a large quantity or “lot” by size and cut, and though similar, the color can vary slightly within that lot. I surf several channels on my TV. It was just after midnight 12/20/22, when I landed on JTV. A women was showing diamonds and I have to tell you, I wouldn't by Anything from her! She has on a sweat shirt, no make-up, hair stringy and unwashed and looks totally unkept! I have been going to Jtv since they started on TV and NEVER saw someone with total disrespect for the company they work for like she was. She's selling diamonds? I wouldn't buy a toothpick from her, much less a diamond. It's probably fake anyway. What is JTV doing? Looking at her photo, would u buy anything from her?

Answer: As a longtime shopper, I can vouch that the gemstones are real. If it's a lab-created version of more expensive gems (i. E. Lab Emerald, Lab Ruby, CZ, etc), the title & description will reflect that. Although quality control is hit & miss, I've tested/appraised hundreds of stones from JTV & haven't had any issues with authenticity. Their treatment disclosures are pretty good for the industry. Might I suggest perusing eBay, too? Lots of resalers (like me) can offer better prices on legit stones & jewelry... plus you get the benefit of knowing your seller has already checked for cracks, chips, etc. To be safe, only buy from US sellers & ask questions to ensure they can respond with some knowledge about their goods. Answer: I have several pieces of Moissanite set in Platineve and have not had any problems. I've had some of my pieces for a few years and am happy with the way they have held up. Moissanite is more expensive than CZ's and I wouldn't expect anything less from Charles & Colvard to set these stones in to. Hope this helps!
