Scam

I placed my order on September 19,2020. I never received a confirmation email confirming my order. Luckily, I had screenshot my confirmation page when I made the purchase. However, after checking my order online, it shows that my order has been "fulfilled". I immediately went to email the company to let them know that I have not received anything, not a confirmation and definitely not my order. A week later, I received an email telling me to rate my customer service. What customer service? No one has responded to my email. I still have not received my order. I still have no email. But they have my money. I'm going through my bank to get my money back because this company is a JOKE. It makes it worse that they are supposed to be a company targeting Women Of Color, yet treat us this way. DISGUSTING! Do not shop here!

I did not receive a correct item with my order. One other item I ordered, I did not receive it at all. This agent requested that I send a photo of the mailing package and items I received. Well, by the time I received the email with instructions (which was the next day), the mailing package (which was a brown envelope) was already in the trash. I explained that in my reply but provided a picture of incorrect order items and the receipt which shows the item I never received. Needless to say, after providing what was requested, I never received an email back! I've emailed twice since then and still no reply. I'm completely disappointed in this reps inability to follow up and even more disappointed in a company that doesn't do right by their customers. I will never spend another penny with these thieves!

Terrible Customer Service

They don't update you on tracking #s! They tell you to put Fed ex if you want an insured package come to find out it It was sent through usps who refused to give me a refund so now I have to go through all this frustration. Will never order again!

Worst service

My daughter and I love their products. We usually buy from Ulta but since the pandemic we have been ordering online. My daughter place an order of $125 of items and she never received her items. Contacted customer service and they refused to give her a tracking number to UPS or give her a refund. Great products, very poor, unprofessional customer service. Even though we love the pigments and how it look on our melantin skintones, we will no longer buy their products. If more people stop buying their products then maybe they will work on their customer service and refund policy. Thank you for having a site where we the consumers can voice the good and the bad of different businesses.

Worst service ever

I have been buying my cosmetics or skin care products from sites like cult beauty, beauty bakerie etc and i have always received the package within 10 days. I really wanted to try juvias place so i placed my order on 3rd of June and today is 5th of august yet i didnt receive my package i was waiting patiently till today. I've been sending emails and they said because of coivd19 the delivery is late i sent them an email again today and now they realized that the package has been sent back to them and they want me to pay for the shipping charge again. What a joke. A brand with 2.4m followers i expected them to be better. So disappointed. Also they want to give me store credit instead of a refund. Aint nobody buying from there again. Ridiculous..

Not to be all "Karen-ish", but damn!
Not to be all "Karen-ish", but damn this customer experience was really bad! Their website says in the FAQ that shipping will take place 3-5 days once ordered. After five days, I reached out to Customer Care and was told 7-10 business days via a generic canned response, not including weekends and holidays. They have no contact phone numbers and only do communications online and by email. It literally took 10 business days! Almost like they hold it that long for some weird purpose. Then they choose the slowest shipping method possible, seven extra days for shipping. This is crazy! Had I ordered these products on Amazon, I would have paid a little more, but would have gotten them within three days, instead of three weeks. Just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth and conditions the consumer to use places like Amazon and Walmart for buying/shipping. I'm just trying to help small businesses out, but WOW lesson learned! Wish I'd have looked for reviews prior to ordering...

Love my eyeshadows

So I'm actually writing this review because I previously made a horrible review about this company claiming that they were scammers because I didn't recieve my package in a timely nor getting customer service so I'm writing again to clear some things up.
1. I found interest in this company after seeing the eyeshadows on Instagram and felt completely inlove I had to get them
2. After placing my order I got an email within 3 days confirming it was shipped and was provided a tracking number that didn't seem to work
3. Customer service took about a week to answer me but eventually did and was very helpful in getting my package to me, specifically Maureen thanks to her
With that being said some things are beyond the customer service representatives control and for that I should've never said that they were scammers because they're not. I received my package after 1 month and a few days so I am happy.
We are going through a pandemic at the moment which is probably causing a lot of delays with orders being processed and then probably with so many orders coming in the company probably doesn't have a lot of staff working.
Conclusion: I'm inlove with my eyeshadows in real life and I can't wait to try them onn I got the berries and the Saharan and they are beautiful! But as for now if you want these eyeshadows within 3 days to wear or a week I suggest u shop for them in stores at allure

Disappointed

I made 2 purchases to juvias and both orders got to me, i then made 2 more purchases one in february and the other in April to date i have not received anything, when i email their customer care, they had promised to resent, ive sent countless emails, they dont respond any more.

I was introduced to this site on Instagram and I ordered from them my first order they or the website doubled up on the number of 3 items I ordered when I contacted them concerning this they would not reply and had never shipped the items so refused to take off extra items and shipped the box off. If I would have read reviews before I ordered I never would have ordered
Beware! And colors/ shades are not true to the ones on website so far everything I've gotten has

I ordered from juvia's place on the 25th of May 2020 and I only recieved it on June 23rd, 2020. So almost an entire month. I thought it wasn't going to come since tracking wasn't being updated but I am pleasently surprised and my order came in perfectly in perfect condition. Would recommend to anyone who has enough patience to wait for it for a while!

I was skeptical when I read the reviews just after I order, people telling about their bad experience and not receiving their package.
Then 3 days after receiving my email and shipping number, it wasn't working, it said it didn't exist.
I decided to send an emailto customer service, which was answered quickly and giving me the link with the activity of my package.
I sent 4 emails and all 4 were answered in less than an hour.
My package arrived 3 days earlier than expected and in excellent condition.

Terrible

I order a few items in the middle of April up to now 10th of June i am yet to received the order or a refund. I messaged, emailed and even tried to get in contact with them on Instagram and on responds. Pure silence. For an international brand this is disappointing. When i check the shipping info. Its stating that the package was returned to sender, so their had both money and product. I WILL NEVER ORDER OR PURCHASE FROM WEBSITE OR RETAILER THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISAPPOINTING TERRIBLE.

Juvia's Place makes great products and does bad business. The company offers inclusivity for makeup users of all color and range. While that is fabulous, they don't actualize their care or concern for their customers; those purchasing their products.
One experience I had with the company was a lack of response and responsibility in regards to a lost order. When contacting their customer support, their responses did not address the lost order. Ultimately, I opened a dispute through PayPal, and due to the company's lack of response to PayPal's investigation, I received a refund.
Another experience proves their lack of integrity when offering a free palette with a $30 minimum purchase. Their website at the time of purchase did not notify that the free palette was out of stock (in fact, there is a Facebook post announcing the free palette being extended to the following day) nor did their website actually add the free palette to my cart (or order form). Low and behold, when my order was received, the free palette I selected at time of purchase was not included.
Logically, I figured that with my proof of time & date of purchase along with their public announcements of the free gift via email and social media, Juvia's Place would honor their word and meet a standard of customer service by making this right. They did not, in fact, make it right. Instead their customer service representative lied to me (stating the free palette was out of stock although, as mentioned, the promotion was extended another day beyond my purchase date).
I spoke with multiple agents via email (they do not have a customer service phone line, mind you, and they outsource their customer service to the Philippines). Each of the reps continued the lies and/or excuses and told me there was nothing they could do. So rather than honoring a free palette (a retail cost of approximately $15), they would rather choose to lose my business (approximately $100 annually).
In my opinion, these experiences show the company's lack of integrity and emphasizes a lack of value placed on their customers.

I order 3 palettes on December 26,2019 and I payed for 2day priority delivery but after 3 weeks, I didn't received my command. After sending them several messages and emails, they finally told me that they put a wrong address on my parcel and they told me to ask FedEx to compensate me for JUVIA'S PLACE Fault. I became very angry and I asked them can someone should pay for the mistake of someone else.
They didn't bother to resolve my problem. Because I needed those palettes, I went again and place another order on February 26,2020, and now after paying £19 to JUVIA'S PLACE for shipping my palettes to London, I receive a note of Royal Mail asking me to pay again £14 for the custom service. I am shocked, JUVIA'S PLACE has a very bad, dishonest and wicket customer service

Disappointing
February 12, 2020

I made a purchase in order to receive their free gift advertised. The free gift did not show up on my receipt so immediately emailed customer service to review and they stated the gift wasn't added to the order and they were unable to add the free gift AND I was unable to cancel my order. Had I known they had such poor reviews, I wouldn't have ordered from them. Definitely a lesson learned.

Terrible practices

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I Ordered 6 eyeshadow pallets from their website on Dec. 15,2019. Received and email on Dec. 18 saying that my order has shipped. After a week of no movement, I contacted DHL and was informed that my items never left the warehouse. A shipping label had been created but the items never shipped. After emailing them back and forth 4 TIMES over the course of approximately 1 month, I was told that they were "escalating" my order each time but my order still never shipped. They informed me that I could not receive a refund as well. After a month of getting lied to and never receiving my products, I initiated a dispute with my bank. After providing proof of their fraudulent practices, the bank refunded my money! I will NEVER order from this company again.

Horrible experience

Horrible company. One of my product didn't arrive, they haven't send me a new one. They offered store credit for the thing, but shipping of just this product would be another 22 dollars (!) when the product cost 8.8$. I paid more for the shipping and customs for the first time because anyway and it didn't arrive. They astoppwd answering the emails.Not to mention that they stated wrong amounts on the invoice and because of this I had problems with getting this damn package from the customs office. If you want a nerve wracking experience then go ahead and order from them. (Products are bad btw)
