These folks are awesome! We are a custom bike shop in Merritt Island, Florida and needed to find a new hydrographic film supplier (as our previous supplier started using some pretty crappy film that was tough to work with due to the extremely flimsy backing they started to use with their film). After researching the web, we came across Kansas Hydrographics - these guys have their $#*! together. We like the fact that they share lots of instructional/how-to videos on their website... and their website is easy to navigate! Anyway, we decided to take a leap of faith and pick-up some of their Black & Gray Digital 2 Camo (and their Hydro-Vator activator) for a custom build. We wish we had tried this film sooner - it would have saved us a lot of unnecessary work! Their film was easy to work with and had great adhesion to our urethane base coat - we then airbrushed on top of the film and buried everything in several coats of matte urethane clear. The bike turned our awesome, our customer loved it (if you are curious, more photos of this bike can be found on our website - 2015 Triumph Bonneville T-100 Brawler). If you are considering a supplier for hydrographic film, we highly recommend these guys. Their prices are fair (plus free shipping)! And no, we do not have have any affiliation with this company - we do not mind sharing some positive feedback when it is well deserved. We will be ordering from them again for sure!
Highly recommend Kansas Hydrographics film so easy to work with I am by no means an expert at dipping but with there film it sure looks like I am
Actually called in and spoke to a tech let them kno i was able to manipulate waterbourne basecoat with graphics over top and cleared worked amazing
