Excitedly purchased my very first Kate Spade products to be quickly disappointed. This lanyard style card holder is perfect for hands free carrying of personal needs and for getting into restricted size bag events. I use this product when traveling and going to special events, meaning it gets used occasionally, and I am sad to say the lanyard strap is garbage; three layers of material glued together, not stitched. I have had this item for 10 months, again used occasionally, when I reached out to KS the basically said sorry to bad, go away, considering this normal wear and tear! All I requested was a replacement lanyard strap, nope! I will not purchase from them again; highly disappointed!

I bought a purse in January of this year and the purse strap broke from the stitching after three months. I have emailed customer service multiple times with either no response or telling me to go into a store for help. The one time I go into a store for help the tell me to call customer care because when I bought my purse the cashier never recorded my purchase with my email. My next step was calling their customer service, but you can't do that either! You sit on hold forever and when someone finally answers they say nothing and hang up on you. The one time someone actually answered he told me to go back in store to get help and when I told him I was told to call customer care he said he would find my emails and call me back within an hour. Guess what... No call! My emails also will get blocked sometimes for their customer care. This company is awful, their quality sucks, their workers suck, just save your money and go elsewhere.

Junk not even sterling

I will be dusbuting with bank now I c why they don't accept returns but they can't do this I verified with bank there was no receipt and it's not even sterling it's junk costume jewelry total crap im allergic to copper cause I'm diabetic you would expect a designer to atleast send sterling wow what a rip off Kate junk can't believe in business

The handbag started falling apart after a year. Conveniently, their warranty is only for a year not life time like other brands. Didn't use the bag on a daily basis either. Would not buy again.

Kate Spade has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Each individual person is wonderful and then promises and then you get a call the next day as if nothing has ever happened. I ordered the shoes they were quote unquote undeliverable and then the delivery person said I'm deliverable and return them even though it was deliverable. I complained and they said oh we're so sorry. I changed it to a non-condo based address to a residential address and I was told that it would come and that I would get a little discount. The next day I received an email saying it's out of stock again. I called again then they told me oh no no no no your shoes are coming and as soon as they come will return them back to you and this time we won't charge you. And the next day I got a call from a supervisor saying do you want us to charge you and try to redeliver it or do you want us to take it off your credit card. And then I called again and got it all straightened out. The next day another supervisor calls me and says it seems like you didn't receive your order or what do you want us to do. They are so fractionalized that they don't even talk to each other they don't take notes so guess what my gift to my best friend was never delivered and never received. I can't wait to see my credit card to see if I was actually charged or not. They are horrible and I will never ever order anything from them again.
Update:
I ordered the shoes on June 4th and believe it or not as soon as I did this rating the next day, June 28th, I got the shoes. Still don't know if I am going to be charged or not.

Quality is pretty bad

Purchased a min-pendant. It's MICROSCOPIC. Cannot believe they sell something like that for 32.00. The item looks much bigger on the model who is a grown adult. On my neice, this looks a quarter of the size. Definitely not shopping here again.

I was gifted a beautiful bracelet and when it arrived in the post, it didn't fit my hand to put the bangle on. Contacted the customer services using the QR code that came with the gift in the box just to be told that there is no other size available for an exchange and also cannot change it for another item unless I have a proof of purchase. It's a thoughtful gift, I won't hurt my friend feeling by asking for a proof of purchase. Needless to say, the customer service wasn't either helpful or understanding about this. WILL NOT EVER RETURN to purchase anything for myself or a gift for a loved one.

Creased bag

I ordered a bag and when it arrived it has a crease on the front panel. When I asked for a return label I was asked to send a picture of the bag which I did and was told that it wasn't too bad and I can keep it. They will give me 10 % off my next purchase. I will not carry this bag looking like this and I will never order from Kate Spade again. This was no protecting package around this nor was it in a box. I'm completely disgusted

The worst shopping experience ever at Kate Spade at Tanger Outlet. Would not return a purchase within the 30 day refund policy. Accused the purse of being used because the tag fell off. Meanwhile they were selling dress for $400 which had a stain and pulled treads on it and when I told them that looked used, they said I was rude and asked me to leave the store. I have been waiting on a refund for a month and half. During 2 calls to their customer service, was transferred to same 'manager' who changed his story, now adding extra 10-15 business of extra wait time & became a tad rude and condescending about even giving me the refund! Mailed backed item end of December, took them until January 9 to email stating item was received (know it got there sooner from tracking) - email stated I would receive credit to my original form of payment within 7 days…it's now 37 days later! Received another email on 1-27-23, stating my refund was processed, but it wasn't! They then gave me an E-card, which has been already devalued. Now told I have to wait for another department to verify the de-valued E-card and 'manually' issue a credit! Which means what? A person has to type in something? Rude manager now added another 10-15 business days, where last week he stated E-card was 'just devalued an hour ago' and should turn up on my credit card, but it depends on how long my card takes to do that! Nice shift of blame, but my card registers the credit immediately!
Again, very condescending young man!

I purchased clothes from their online store in early Dec 2022. I returned the clothes that didn't work out right away and they received the returned in less than 30 days. However, my return wasn't processed until 20 days later.
My refund was finally issued and it was supposed to go back to my credit card. I received another email saying my refund was in an e-gift card. I emailed them asking if my return going back to my credit card, the reason I am asking, because I received an email about the e-gift card. They told me, yes it will go back to my credit card. After waiting for 2 weeks, still no refund, I emailed them again, they told me because I returned it after 30 days (not true) that is I am receiving an e-gift card instead. Then I called them, I told her (female customer service) what happened, and she said, I apologize, the return should be going back to my credit card. She said she requested the e-gift card to be devalued (it takes 3-5 business days) then the refund will go to my card. I just called, it's been 5 business days after my last call, the new customer service Michael said, it takes 5-9 business days for the e-gift card to be devalued then I still have to wait another 3-5 business days after that. They are a terrible company. To put things in perspective, I placed my order on Dec 4th, 2022, they received my return on Dec 27th, 2022, my returned was processed on Jan 17th. Today Feb 3rd 2023, I am still waiting for my refund. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM KATE SPADE EVER AGAIN! They are terrible, their employees do not know what they are doing.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Kate Spade. Couldn't wear them in the middle of winter in Montana. First time I go to lace them up, they ripped. I called and they said you are out of luck, too long since your purchase was made (by only 2 weeks). They did not offer to repair nor replace them. I will never buy Kate Spade products again.
