Purchased a new LG Wall Oven (Model #LWS3063ST) from Lowe's a few years ago, which had received very little use when it stopped working entirely. Called LG, but they said because it was over 1 year old, they wouldn't do anything. However, the repair man discovered a burned electircal wire in the unit's factor control panel, a clear indication of a manufacturing fault that could have started a fire and burned our house down! I wrote the president's office of LG and sent pictures of the burned connection. They promised to reimburse our repair cost. Then, inexplicably, the lady says she no longer works in that office and now LG had not only refused to reimbursed us, they will not respond to us. Terrible, terrible service, and very questionable safety issues in their products. NEVER buy or recommend LG to anyone.
Compressor want out on fridge and they wont replace it. Got it in 2015was charged $104 just for someone to tell me to trash it. That it will take over a year to get the part
My LG front load washer is not even 6 months old. Today it stopped working. I tried everything possible to figure out what was wrong, including a reset. Nope. Just wont wash. I was leery about buy LG to begin with, as they are made in South Korea, but it had good reviews and I know many people with them. I should've gone with my gut instinct and not bought these. I am so mad at myself for caving. And now I have piles of laundry, a machine that does not work. They cant get me service until next week. DO NOT BUY LG

Portable room air conditioner was recalled. They won't perform the needed service. They've scheduled, cancelled appointments, 3 times now. If you lovely folks, at LG, want to challenge my claim. Please, go ahead. I've got every email, and every text.
Bought a LG OLED tv. Trying to find a cleaner for screen. Trying to find a link to find out what that might be or should be best way. Honestly, I know it's hard to believe I can't any customer service phone number no where. Na da.
Nothing in manual talks of anything concerning this either.

In 2019 I purchase at Brandsmart USA my entire kitchen appliances Lg brand. Thursday they are coming to fix the refrigidator is not cooling. Only 2 years old. My food is bad I lost money. I do not recommend this product. Thank God I have extended warranty. They take too long to come and fix it. I have diabetes medication that needs to be refrigidated. My neighbor is holding it for me. We bought the whole line for appliances. Strove, Microwave, Dish Washer and Gas Range. Wish I never heard of LG let alone have to deal with their horrible customer service. Every single item has broken. Recently the refrigerator at the 5-year mark. We contacted customer service and of course, nothing was covered under warranty. Ultimately canceled the appointment well before the 24 hour mark but they still charged my credit card the $125 and are refusing to refund it. After 4 transfers and 3 hours on the phone they said they are charging the card. WORST customer service ever! I am pretty sure their call center is over seas because everyone speaks in broken english.
Bought a fridge from LG in December 2019. Now, almost all of the plastic door bins have cracked and it hasn't even been 2 years. Never in my life have had a plastic part in a fridge break, until I owned an LG fridge.
Now even though it's still under warranty, LG is refusing to replace the parts claiming it's just "cosmetic damage". It goes way beyond cosmetic damage—one of the bins is completely shattered and unusable, while most of the remaining bins already have hairline cracks and will shatter soon enough.
LG not only is clearly trying to get away with planned obsolescence on its appliances by using cheap materials, their customer service is horrible. Avoid LG like the plague.
LG is the worst company ever! First it took 3 months to get a response and approval for a replacement ac! Then I purchase a new and try to get the refund for the new ones and they go silent. Call and was promised a supervisor call next morning over a week later and I'm still waiting. Now I'm out 213 for the original one and another 213 for the new one I purchased. Worst company ever will never purchase another LG ever!
I wish I could give LG a negative review. We had a brand new house built and bought all LG appliances (fridge, oven, dishwasher). We were advised to get the extended warranty since we heard horror stories about LG products. Our dishwasher had to be completely replaced after 2 years since it just died one day. We've now had the appliances 4 years and the oven class door just shattered one day and needed to be replaced. And now the fridge just died. We kept calling Best buy to get it fixed and they outsource their repairs so 2 appointments later and 2 weeks without a fridge they refuse to replace. I remember my grandmother's fridge last my entire childhood. What happened to the kenmore appliances that literally last our entire lifetime. Now we are lucky if these pieces of junk last 3 years. Disgusted by LG and their crappy products.
Warranty issue worst customer service ever. Absolutely unbelievable how they clearly give you the runaround until you are worn out and exhausted from speaking to numerous people over weeks no one has any idea what you're talking about it's like you're the first customer they've ever dealt with and the first time they've ever had to deal with the warranty or anything for that matter. Absolutely terrible
I have gotten the run around from their "customer service" department for a month. They all work from home as their corporate office is closed so they have no clue what they are doing. On hold forever waiting for a supervisor ( apparently with the rest of their angry customers). They repeat my issues back to me then put me on hold and come back asking me to repeat again, again. I have finally washed my hands of them. DO NOT buy their products. Their warranty is a JOKE, their after-sale support/service is NON EXISTENT, and, what's worse, they LIE. Run don't walk to a competitor. Save yourself the grief.
I bought a 55 lcd tv last Black Friday for our new house. It was opened to check for any visible damage but I did not turn it on but there was none to be seen. It was resealed and stored till we moved in and when I turned it on the screen it was an array of coulors at the top. Neither curry's or LG will do a thing despite it still having all the packing, no mark at all on the box or protective foam and definitely did not get damaged or squashed by us. They tell me after 30 days the warranty is over for damage and that this issue was caused probably in transport somewhere despite it not having any visible damage on the tv or box or packaging. Absolutely shocking service. Will never buy from curry's or an LG ever again
A dishonest organisation. Bought a TV that costed $1000 and it broke down after 10 months. Tried to put through a warranty claim and they tried to get out of their responsibility. The TV'S screen is black when being turned on and they said that I have damaged the TV therefore warranty is voided. An absolute joke. For such a brand they are trying to cheat consumers over a $1000. Will bring this matter to Consumer Affairs.
I have an LG v40 now, my previous one was LG G7, also will be getting Velvet soon. Love the sound, DAC is so great idea to add to the phone! Genious! Are you planning to continue selling phones?
Nobody answers a phone anywhere. Just bounce you to chat who just gives general go nowhere answers. Horrible. If you buy a lg tv or anything else your stuck with it no matter what. No accesories. Nothing. No sales Store, 253 000no community chat they advertise anywhere. Company Is dead. *******000. Nobody there. There kick you off phone and send you to no where land. Horrible horrible. What a disgrace LG and LG Customer Service Warranty Department is. We bought (a very expensive) LG refrigerator only to find the back water line was cracked and leaking onto the floor. My husband called for two straight weeks and every time he called he'd wait at least 30 minutes to get someone on the phone only to be jerked around and lied to each time. Some ridiculous responses were they have to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor will contact us (twice). Another ridiculous excuse was there is no one in our area that they can find to fix our refrigerator LOL! (twice). Another time a representative was telling my husband to get a screwdriver and was reading to him how to go to the back of fridge and try to fix it/tighten the screws and my husband kept telling him there's nothing to be tighten the the darn thing is CRACKED, YOU CAN SEE ITS CRACKED AND ITS LEAKING ONTO THE FLOOR!
So LG did just what they wanted us to do, we got tired of calling and getting jerked around as it was so evident they had no intention of fixing it so we called someone else and got the refrigerator fixed without the pathetic non existent LG warranty and paid for it ourselves. The repair man had to order a part because it was indeed CRACKED! So I strongly recommend you buy a different appliance brand. This business sold us a crap refrigerator and then gave us crap customer service. The repair company that fixed our refrigerator told us LG is a horrible business to deal with and they will not deal with them at all which pretty much sums it all up. Buyer Beware!
I bought an LG fridge and purchased an extended warranty. Fridge failed 3x and we had it repaired 2x and 3rd time they deemed it unrepairable. After being without a fridge and living out of a cooler for months we finally had to purchase a new fridge. LG will not give us a new fridge or our money back even though we had all these warranties in place. They are a $#*! company and I will never buy from them again!
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
