I went on there trying to get to talk to someone about getting a deal on a lawn mower. Long story short Lowe's treated me like $#*!. I will never do business with this $#*! company again.
Bought a fridge with their warranty 3 yrs. Ago. Last Sunday it stopped working. Contacted the warranty company and they sent a company out on Monday. He told us they had to order parts for it and it would take a week. Lowes told us they didnt have any loaners. We lost pretty much everything in our fridge at over 350.00. Filled another claim for the losses they only cover 300. Still waiting to hear if it was even approved. Numerous calls to the warranty company and to Lowes corp. The answer is pretty much oh well you just have to wait on the repair company. Parts are in and its Friday and you have to reschedule for them to come out. The repair company is closed on the weekends and no overtime. Had to schedule for Monday. To sum it up food loss plus aggravation of dealing with the run around from lowes and the repair company. Having to eat out every day $$$. This is the very last appliance I will buy from Lowes and possibly the last time to buy from them.
First of all ordered counter tops was told it would be about 6 weeks...Was 3 months!
Then got a new stove from them, first one I've ever had in my lifetime. Kitchen being redone and couldn't use stove until 5 days after it was delivered. Smooth top range and two of the burners are messed up after I used it once. Called Lowe's Manager was told it has to be returned within 48 hours. I wasn't able to use it until 5 days later! Told me to call the company, look in manual.Would have been nice had he supplied the number. Very very unhappy customer...Won't be going back.
Lowe's delivery service is a disaster. My order arrived weeks late, and the items were damaged beyond repair. Attempts to contact customer service were fruitless, as they provided no solutions or assistance. Lowe's, you need to prioritize improving your delivery process if you want to keep customers satisfied.
Made a key at Lowes in Virginia Beach. Went home and it did not work. Went back to store to return it and was told by Customer Service Rep that they do not return keys made by the key machine even though we had the electronic receipt (no where on the key machine or the electronic receipt did it say anything about returns). We needed to contact the manufacturer, which was not the receipt. When asked for a phone number we were told they did not have one and we should Google it to find one. What customer service! I had higher expectation from Lowes. I will start going to the orange store more
Lowes currently has advertised buy 3 bags.75 Miracle Gro Garden soil get 3 free on sale for 2.29$ bag …BIG LIE.nothing is free here and the store is dodging the question when you speak with the manager. Call corp #*******937 good luck there too wait on hold over 40 minutes then put your number for call back then they call back and hang up as soon as you answer it …wonderful.another great American company gone to hell!

The North Peters Lowe's is the worst retail store I have EVER seen! They closed at 8:00 and we went in at 7:30, and looked for 20 minutes in the back of the store for help and FINALLY when we found someone unloading a truck, and we asked if he could help, and he looked at us like we were ghosts. I pointed at a guy that was moving drinks on the shelf and said, could he help us, and he said, "well, he's probably knows more than I do," asked him a question, he said he has no clue, but he would try and get us help. As he left us, another guy walked by and we asked him, and he said he didn't know, and he had already clocked out. We heard the guy call for us some help, and we waited until they closed, and no one ever came to help us. All we wanted was an answer about a product. Guess what. Lowe's is remodeling our kitchen.

I appreciate the competitive pricing and frequent sales and promotions that help me save money on my projects. The online ordering and in-store pickup options add convenience to the shopping experience.
I was at Lowe's on Malabar road Palm Bay FL yesterday MAR 28,2024 around 4:00 PM to buy a water softener. But the guy who was assigned to give customer service ignored my present. He said that he had other customer to taking care of. For this kind of his service, I walked out of Lowe's to go to Home Depot to buy the water softener instead.
I think Lowe's customer service managers should look into this to avoid further problem in the future. Otherwise Lowe's will loose lots of good customer like me.
All of the staff are wonderful, caring, helpful and nice which is hard to find in the world! Lorey Howerton and Forrest are 2 of the names that come across in my mind at this time, but there are others and I did not forget about the other wonderful staff! Every hardware store should model this location on everything on how they do business, how the employees interact with customers, etc.

Never buy anything from Lowe's. They are SCAMMERS disguised as a reputable company. I received a Primo water cooler advertised as "new". The box was torn apart, the the top and bottom gone and only styrofoam to support. I had no option but to dispose of the remnants. It's very possible that we received a REFURBISHED item. The previous PRIMO we owned lasted us almost 10 years with the pump sort of failing at the end. Instead of trying to figure out to fix it, we ordered from Lowe's thinking their price was decent for the item because Sam's Club and Costco were out of Primo's under $200. A little over 2 months, it's defective (does no cool water and everything comes out warm). We contacted Lowe's who, gave them the whole spill about the "no box" and the circumstances. They assured us that this was not a problem, and that Fedex will take care of boxing it at their expense. So we scheduled for a pickup with Fedex noting that there is "no box" and faced no objection. A Fedex rep showed up today and said he won't take it without a box. This resulted in additional hours spent over the phone and they prompted me to re-scheduled another pickup with them, saying "this time we should have no issues", adding an apology that "it wasn't noted correctly". I thought that was that. Then some Fedex supervisor called me changing his tune and saying they WON'T take it as it and that even if it was dropped off at a location, it won't get accepted. I do not have a vehicle that fits the cooler and I shouldn't be liable for driving 12 miles to drop it off at a location, but I wanted to find out if there is a distinction between a pickup and a dropoff. I have now started a credit card dispute and I'm in the process of submitting a complaint with BBB.
Do yourselves a favor and spend the extra money, if you have to, to buy your appliances from a trustworthy source to get a "brand new" item with a reliable return policy. I purchased another unit through Costco knowing their guarantee is trustworthy. They have their own staff to pick up large appliances if a customer is not satisfied. Lowe's simply scammed us, exploiting our limitations.
I generally use Lowe's compared to their competitor just because the prices always seem a little bit better. I had just purchased a new fridge before my kitchen remodel. I was not expecting my kitchen remodel to take five weeks. I had went ahead and purchased a new stove, dishwasher and microwave. The stove was delivered as they do not install gas. And the delivery guys were wonderful. Brought it in put it right where I asked them to and we're super polite. The other two however had to be delivered to the store for Installation. At this point I'm a little panicky because my kitchen is unexpectedly still two weeks out. The Installation company set up a delivery date for the day after my countertops are installed so that way, once my kitchen is done, I will have a fully functioning kitchen. I was trying to cancel the installation and I spoke with my local lowes sales manager. He told me the Installation team was absolutely wonderful and they would have no problems pushing it out. He made a note so my appliances stay there in the store and depending on my Installation this has so far been a perfect experience.
Lowes is second to home depot for a good reason... their return policy. Its the second time they would not return a product because i either lost receipt or replaced the card i used after admitting it was a lowes item. Home depot on the other hand returns anything they is one of their store items without proving sales with a store credit! Mr. Lowes is it really worth losing a customer for not issuing a store credit for 20$. Really?
I purchased flooring for 2 bedrooms from Lowe's in Sarasota Florida they sent Eryk Szulborski to install. This guy was the best worker. He worked alone n worked til 8:30 pm til the job was finished. He was polite kind respectable he cleaned every thing up, also moved the furniture by himself n left the rooms spotless n put the furniture in its original place. Ordering packing boxes, ordered enough to get the "free shipping", next day text says "ready for pickup", ordered as a guest, called customer service, she says one was for pickup, one to be shipped, yet all one order. CSR was nice, assured it was all cancelled, but how can one order, one payment end up split with have for pickup, have shipped for free because I hit the threshold for free shipping? HOW? Their site is a mess.
Bought o cabinet. It was damaged beyond repair. The Porters Neck store must have tried to piss me off. Matt and Troy tried to help but the manager refused to look at my problem. Manager(s) could NOT work for me. I value my customers. Look forward to telling my friends what happened.
Ordered some items order number *******. They never sent me an email giving me status and now they tell me they don't know what the status is. I have called customer support twice and they have not been able to resolve it. Because they say it a store issue, no it is a Lowes issue. I keep getting the run around and I still don't have my order and it has been two weeks. I need it know! I would never order anything from Lowes again because they do not care about their customers. You cannot even talk with a manager. They say call the store. The issue is I order the items through Lowes Web site and they did not give me a choice to send the parts to my house. They forced me to pick a store so I picked one that was the closet. Now they tell me corp is not responsible I have to work with store. Why is that when I ordered them from Lowes, not the store. Just another way they can give you the run around and take no responsibility screw the customer. You cannot even call cooperate to log a complaint. Not a good way yo run a company. I recommend no one should buy anything from Lowes because they don't care about the customer!
I ordered 2 items. $179 each for a $358 total. My card was immediately charged 3 times. $179-$179-$358 for a $716 total. Yes the charges were pending. However there was a hold on $716 on the card meaning I can not use that credit. Is this legal? I called Lowe's and spoke with 4 people. Everyone knew about this and says it is how Lowe's places charges. That means debit cards too.
I won't be going back to Lowe's. I didn't like the place before, now it's just too much.
We bought a fully-assembled, brand-new electric golf cart from Lowe's store #2656 on 12/13/23. Almost immediately, the golf cart had pieces fall off including the wheels from the stripping of the bolts during assembly. We asked to return it since it was a damaged product and they refused to take it back and instead wanted Coleman (the manufacturer) to repair, with us paying the delivery charge. After doing so and sending to a recommended shop by Coleman, the cart remains unfixed with Coleman and Lowes fighting over whose fault. We are frustrated with false advertising about the return policy, the poor assembly and the lack of help by the store personnel. We want our money back and will never do business with Lowe's. We are preparing a Texas Lemon Law filing to get the government involved. The bottom line is don't buy expensive items from Lowe's, there is no return policy.
I stopped at Lowe's and bought 4 bags of mulch. Because I have a still neck, I was unable to lift and put them in my car. I asked for some help and waited 10 to 15 minutes for someone. The cashier asked a lady and she paged someone even though she said they had no one to lift. Finally, a female named Annika came and helped me. Everyone else just standing around joking. I swear it is so hard to keep your patience at Lowes. The people are so dam lazy. Thanks, Annika for your help. She lifted 4 bags and put them in my vehicle without an attitude. Lowes needs more workers like her. She gets 5 stars from me but Lowes gets 1 star for hiring lazy people who hide when there is work to do... Train your workers to have integrity, pride, and manners please.
I went in Lowes 22 Sep to inquire about a cabinet built for my marble table. I paid the $75 charge on my credit card and that is the only proof. Lowes guy said they could do the job and Mckinley from Carolina Construction came out on 28 Sep. And took measuremnets for table and wall. I told her the cabinet and measurements were for the table not wall. I went into Lowes on 5 Oct because I heard nothing from them. I waited 2 hours that morning so I went back that afternoon and waited 2 1/2 hrs. I left and went back the next morning and Juan was busy loading for someone is what the guy said. This guy said he was the boss, skinny black guy that seemed to be irritated at me because I asked what was taking so long. He was explaining how busy Juan was and I told him why don't u help. I said I waited and waited and paid the money and cannot get a call or contact from Juan to get my cabinet for my table cause he is so busy. To make a long story short, Juan was doing all himself. I finally got to sit down with him and he and the other guy made it seem like Mckinley didn't give measurements for the table but for the wall. They were guessing figures and Juan gave me the figure the skinny black guy guessed so I knew it was a scam. Juan never gave me any paperwork but showed me a cabinet no matter how I told him I wanted it to be cost efficient. He said when done I would hear from him by Friday but I didn't. I called him Tuesday Oct 11th and he said he was just getting back to work and was about to call me. He said I could get the cabinet for $1500 but they couldn't put the marble on top of it cause it was a liability since I didn't get it from them.If I buy the marble from them it they would do the job. HOGWASH. These lazy liars are a bunch of crap. I can't believe them. I called another company and they came out and will be doing the same project for half the price and didn't give me the figures like Juan and his boss guessed. This Lowes on 1701 Freedom Blvd florence employees are the worst. They all should be fired for lying and for thinking because I am a female that came in the store alone, I didn't know they were liars. They were mad because I called them out on how long it took on the days I went to the store. They act as if we customers got all day to wait on them while they walk around doing nothing but blowing smoke. It is ridiculous and a shame. Hire more competent people and for godsakes get rid of that little lying wanna be boss doing nothing. Help Juan out! Do something besides run your mouth and not know what ur talking about. Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
