I purchased an Anchor and Chain Swivel from MarinePartDepot.com that was never shipped. When I placed the order the parts were listed in stock on the website. After numerous emails and unanswered phone calls, I went through paypal to try and contact the owner. I finally got a reply stating he would issue a refund but the refund was never issued. Many more emails and unanswered phone messages after that and no replies. I even went through the California Better Business Bureau to try to resolve this. He did not respond to their multiple attempts to contact him. Avoid this business at all costs!
Have bought from thus company many times over many years, this is the first time I have had a problem.
I placed order and my payment was taken over a month ago, when I check order status is states " pending review"!
No one answers the phone and no reply to many emails, and phone messages!
Do not understand how they can run a business!
Ordered some hardware thats hard to find. Was concerned when it took a few days to ship, but it arrived in about a week and was as expected and good quality. I had my doubts reading the reviews but they came through.
The order came in missing a part rendering it useless. I Sent 7 emails over the course of a year just asking them to send the missing part. They never responded- Scam company- they should be shut down!
Ordered 2x 3 set stainless steel rodholders prior to taking delivery of my new boat. They were to be mounted on the transom exterior. Proved unworkable due to motor interference. Returned per website instructions and waited for refund. NOT HAPPENING according to other reveiws - so I'm out the rodholders which I paid for and returned and the $50 it cost to ship them back.
Ordered over $100 in parts.
Charged card immediately and received tracking number.
That was on 05/31/2021
It's now 09/09/2021 and no product.
Numerous calls to full mailbox and emails have went unanswered.
Filed fraud report with my bank and have received credit back.
Avoid this scam outfit at all cost

Scammed us out of $230.00. Can't get a hold of anyone, voice mail box full, won't return emails. Turned it over to our credit card company. Don't and i repeat, don't do business with these scammers. Good for them there in California.
Takes your money and doesn't deliver. Does not respond to email. If you are dumb enough to order, do so through Paypal so you can claim a refund. Better idea, buy it elsewhere.
I ordered 2 double cup stainless steel holders with base on Oct 31st. I received only 1 Reached out to vendor but voicemail full all the time. Emailed 3 times but no response. Drove 1.5hrs to vendor's address only to find it's a PO Box! Will have to contact credit card company to get a $95 refund for missing item

I ordered $34.00 worth of parts on 05/12/2020 it is now 5 months later and have never seen my parts. I have emailed multiple times with no response and called their phone number but the mail box is full and no one ever answers. I guess I am screwed out of my money. I am glad I did not send them more. Stay away from this seller.
This place is illegitimate. As soon as you place your website order you get am email about order confirmed and your PayPal gets debited. This will he the last time you get anything from them. Placed an order for nearly $400 worth of whaler stainless items... never received them, they never responded to my repeated emails, and you can't get them on the phone. Total SCAM. The FBI should investigate them for INTERSTATE WIRE FRAUD. Stay away. I filed a claim with Visa and Visa reversed the charges thank goodness. Their website exists so their bank account can collect your money... total SCAM. This FRADULENT commerce site should be taken down.
Order a $185 worth of parts. They where all wrong. Followed their instructions on there site for returns. It has been 8 weeks since I mail merch back. Tracking number says they received it in 4days. I send a email and phone everyday for past 2 weeks and no response. I rate -10.
I odered a few bimini parts but never got any indication when the parts would be shipped. Now just a fews days after ordering I recieved my parts, exactly as ordered via 2 day shipping from CA to MA.
Previously recieving the parts we tried to call to confirm things but got a recording whihc didn't even contin the name of the company. So then we browsed the web and saw a bunch of bad customer support listings.
BUT in my case I had a totally different service. And the parts recieved were of excellent quality.
I ordered boat parts, with paid shipping, on 06-15-20. The date is now 06-30-20, and I'm still waiting for delivery. No one ever answers the listed phone number at their California office.
Order several stuff in the past when they were just starting in 2009 thru 2010. Now issue with product quality control and lack of response from the merchant or owner Steven Lui I would never buy anything from them. Last item purchased 12/2019 had to claim against PayPal to get a full refund due to lack of communication from merchant and Steven Lui.
Our company was searching for a specific style of drain and we found what we needed on MPD's website. Turns out their part was mislabeled and we received the wrong size part. We ended up using it and modifying what we had been using for years to fit this drain.
We then made another order and paid them and never have received any confirmation. We then were desperate for parts and ordered through Amazon. So far amazon contacted us and said the shipping date has been delayed. So who knows if we will get parts.
They dont answer emails or calls. Do whatever you can to avoid this company as they are a pain in the a**...
I have ordered and paid for the item on November 8,2018. I have attempted to contact Marine Depot, however, my phone calls have gone unanswered and have yet to receive a reply to my emails as of today, January 6,2019.
I have placed 3 orders with MarinePart Depot. I ve had no issues of any kind. My orders have been as described and arrive decently quick enough. I see all of the negative reviews but in no way has my experience been anything other than perfectly fine.
