Chaos on numbers

Ordered 500 cards. Sent 467 addresses for the envelopes. Not enough cards. Did not get 500 envelopes (rest should have been blank at least send me my envelopes). Additionally, ordered for extra $10 25 envelopes for mistakes and was not included. So I cannot finish my cards and any mistake ones cannot address with a blank one by hand. Also, MISSING cards! I bought exactly 500 stamps to keep up with this and not only missing envelopes but CARDS! Since very thick cards, no way doubled up in ones already done. That quality is a plus but I also paid FOUR TIMES more than my usual 500 cards but was willing to do so. I was NOT expecting having too little cards! Now I will be LATE as already December 7th and many go overseas. Looks good but wish I had read reviews. No more.

For a personalized card business, this company has automated their system so much that it feels like an impossibility to correct items on the proof, and have the cards delivered to me. I am on the 3rd proof. It has been taking 2 days to correct each proof. So this is now the 6th day since I put in my order and there is no end in sight. I called and spoke to a real person to escalate the concern. The person is disconnected to the actual designer fixing the issue and cannot fix the issue themselves. I ask to speak to a supervisor or owner of the firm as this is a small business. They put me on hold then hung up. I called back and I was hung up on, again. I am on the verge of canceling this order.

Tried to add a new card to pay them, the customer "team" (an incompetent person of one), could not find a way for me to pay them...I deactivated my account, morons!

If you have an issue hope you have at least 30 minutes. To deal with their customer service. They are slow and terrible. They did two prints of my holiday cards and they were both messed up. The second being worse. Would not recommend them at all. I still can't get over how bad the customer service is.

Minted not only produces beautiful stationary, but after my fiance and I had our wedding invitations stolen from the USPS drop box near our house (I know, I know...incredibly absurd misfortune—but it happened.) The USPS did...pretty much nothing...to help us out other than saying if we "push it," we can "maybe" get a refund. It was a bit of a stab in the dark, but we figured we had nothing to lose by reaching out to Minted's customer service to explain the situation and see if we could re-order our same invites at a reduced price (we didn't have the budget to pay full price again). Minted replaced our invites FOR FREE and had the replacement order shipped to us EXPRESS so that they arrived in just a couple of days. I cannot explain the relief. We are so grateful. Minted is a company that cares about people, and I am SO GLAD we ordered from them!

This is an updated review based on the Minted team's responsiveness to our concern about advertising that appeared on our wedding website's RSVP confirmation screen. Originally, when guests RSVP'd, the confirmation included a large ad for "Minted's gift recommendations." We do not mind Minted branding appearing in the footer of the site and on the printed invitations, but we felt this product placement was inappropriate and confusing as it looked like part of our gift registry. When we realized this, we immediately asked Minted to remove the advertisement. At first, they said they could not do anything about it, but they continued to work the issue (over the weekend) and let us know they were finally able to manually remove it.

We appreciate the extra effort the Minted team made to resolve the situation to our satisfaction and would recommend them to anyone considering using their wedding website.

In our original review, we said that our experience with Minted's wedding invitations was positive overall. The design and customer service teams were easy to work with and the quality of the final product is very good for the price.

It's almost as useless as the automated machines that answer your phone to press ##!
They are so limited and all they say is, I will get the message to this team or that team. + Those teams don't answer you right away, they answer in a day and not even 24/hr operation, not to mention on completely different hours (your night is their day) - so if you are dealing with something urgent, good luck! I am so frustrated for my clients and ashamed I even referred them to this website.
Be careful if you are considering the envelopes addressing service. I checked the addresses and the list several times over and over with my client and after I uploaded it to their system. They sent envelopes all printed with United States on them despite the fact that it was a mixed addresses list.

The photos are shown in their proofs very clearly, then the actual result is blurry. I ordered Christmas cards from them this past year, and the first round were awful. I contacted customer service, they remade the cards (which came in so close to Christmas, if they were sent they'd arrive post-holiday) and the second round were IDENTICAL to the first. Awful quality, so blurry. I then called Minted, and was promised a refund, since they could not remake (nor did i trust them to provide a quality card) the order prior to the holiday. I agreed. Then the proceeded to give me a 30% refund instead of full credit (as promised). I then had to call them back to address the refund issue, to which they said they would address and never did. Called them a third time on the refund issue, they gave me a max of 55% refund and I was left with unusable cards and out 45% of the money on the order. They are a scam. Do not waste your money, do not waste your time.

WASTE of TIME!

As I write this I'm on the phone again with Minted. My order was messed up by them and while the CS rep said she would expedite the order there were 3 items missing when they arrived. Their website is great looking but not too functional. The reps are very nice but have little authority to do anything. I've been trying to get my wedding invitations out for more than 3 weeks and I initially ordered them in March.having paid over $1000 for them. I'm so frustrated and disgusted with this company. DON"T USE THEM - WASTE OF TIME>.

I have never been so disappointed in a company. Absolutely horrific customer service. I ordered from Canada and on the invoice they mistakenly put that I had ordered about triple of what I had actually ordered. This resulted in massive customs fees. I normally pay around $25, this time it was about $135. I reached out to customer service and then began a back and forth of emails which has resulted in nothing. No resolution. There are so many great card companies out there, don't waste your time or money with this company.

I have been using Minted for cards and invitations for nearly 10 years. My most recent experience ordering First Communion invitations for my daughter has damaged my trust and will likely cause me not to order from them again. I ordered my product 12 days ago and it is still in production. I paid extra for rush shipment to have it delivered, what should have been, one week ago. Seems the customer service team is having a hard time getting answers from production and they are telling me I'll have my order in 3 days, two full weeks after ordering RUSH delivery, putting me in a position of mailing invites in a delayed timeframe. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. Caution to anyone ordering rush delivery, they will be taking their time. (They have offered a full refund, but at this point that is not helpful to my situation at all.)

Horrible company

I am an artist selling work in Minted. I never received my payment from Minted transferred by Minted assigned finance service Payoneer. I have exchanged so many emails from Payoneer and still not getting paid. This company is a spam.

This was my first time ordering from Minted, the quality of your card stock was very nice, however I am very disappointed about the quality of the printed photos, they are very dark and very blurry. While creating my card this was not the case. Why would the color change drastically like this? I also had a shadow box made for my daughter and now the card inside looks terrible. What can you do about this?

NOTHING was done, not a replacement, not even a response to my email.

Unfortunately I was in a pinch for time for the party and needed to send out the invites. Had I not been in a pinch I would have returned EVERYTHING.

Again, this is very disappointing for a happy exciting moment in our lives to share and celebrate with family and friends.

Nightmare process:

I will not be ordering from Minted again in the future. My fiancé and I ordered our wedding invitations from this site, the box we received was damaged with invitations that didn't look remotely like what we had ordered online. We were dissatisfied with how they looked, requested a refund and ordered from a different company. I received an email saying we would be refunded the full amount, followed by a confusing email saying a replacement order had been shipped. We did not ask for a replacement order. After realizing we have not received a refund, we have been back and forth with customer service about the issue. They made me send them a screenshot of the email saying I would get a refund, which I did. Once I sent that, they told me that that email went out because of a technical error on their end and that they would not be sending refunds. By the way, this is after my request has been passed between three customer service agents now, so every time I get an emailed response it is from a new person. I am HIGHLY DISSATISFIED with this service and will not be ordering from them again.

I've been shopping around for wedding invitations and was really excited about the selected offered by Minted.com. I ordered the free samples to see if they'd meet my needs. I received a confirmation email saying I'd have my sample kit within 2 weeks. A little over 2 weeks later, no samples, and no further communication from Minted regarding my order. So I ordered the samples again, but this time after creating an account with their site. I received the same confirmation saying I'd have my sample kit within 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, still no samples, but I did receive an email saying that they shipped. Ok, not the timeline I was hoping for, but whatever. Another 2 weeks go by, and then I check the tracking and find out it was returned to sender due to invalid address. I checked my account/order history and could clearly see I'd entered my address correctly. So how did they mess it up for shipping? If I can't trust a company to do something as simple as mail me a few samples, then how in the world am I supposed to trust that I'd receive custom invitations that cost hundreds of dollars? Will not be giving Minted.com any of my business as they seem to be incapable of basic tasks.

Minted Botched My Holiday Cards Royally

I have been a Minted customer for about 10 years. This year making my card was running a bit late but I got it done and sent to the experts for proof reading and expedited shipping so I could send it out by the 12/31 at the latest … well minted had other plans. Not only did they not proof read my card (spelled Dr Seuss wrong) and printed it w the mistake they expedited nothing and I had to chase them for where my cards were up until the 7th I believe of January. And when I asked what were they prepared to do to help make the situation better they offered to reprint the cards w the right spelling, not for free, around the 17th of January. Anyway. Major fail on Minteds behalf and very poor customer service after their fail. Disappointing for sure. Be aware. They aren't what they used to b. O well. Joanne Wiles

Sent wrong order

I am very disappointed in the wedding invitations I received. I ordered the matching envelopes to be SAGE. The order details, receipt, and proof all showed sage. I received my envelopes and they are WHITE. I reached out to customer service who informed me they were sold out of the color sage. Instead of informing me when I ordered that they were sold out so I could choose another color or save money, they send me white without my approval. I had to pay extra for colored envelopes, not for white. This is unacceptable. They also listed the wrong meal options on our RSVP cards. I will not be using Minted in the future.

Smh sad but true

I had a great experience with them in the past and I don't know why its now terrible.
On their website it says "We want you to love your Minted art. Therefore, limited edition and open edition Fine Art Prints and Children's Art Prints can be returned for any reason within 30 days of receipt." On the purchase page it also says "Free shipping and free returns on all fine art prints" yet when I spoke to a representative, they mentioned it would only be case by case basis. This directly contradicts the information on their website. I'm very disappointed because it seems that they do not want to hold themselves to the "Free refund" promise they promote on their website.

The representative even went so far as to tell me "It is against company policy" to tell me if they would offer a refund if I haven't submitted a purchase yet (again this actively contradicts the information on their website that says "free return shipping"). He also mentioned that there would be a charge (Restocking fee) - mind you, that is NOT mentioned on their FAQ page either. Just seems super suspicious and untrustworthy.

I've had this escalated to a second rep and even though they are just as bad at handling this issue, they simply repeat what the first rep says with no mention of how it contradicts their faq promise.

Things companies will do for money these days...
